Erase Change Video Background Reviews

Ok so it might have turned out as a good app BUT I go to edit and it’s just black. I try to do my photo AND I tried a video in the background, foreground and I can’t figure this out. I have looked up how to use it,read reviews and asked some friends. NONE OF THIS WORKED! If you read this please fix these problems. And from what I have heard you have to frame by frame to edit! I like to edit but this really takes to long. I would DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS HORRIBLE APP! I am sorry but this really needs improvement!

I paid for the year subscription and EraseChangeVideoBackground stopped working. Every time I press synthesize video nothing happens. Also the free version and paid version are the same thing! You do not get any new features as a paying subscriber. That needs to be changed add better features for paying subscribers. I emailed the creator about the bug with EraseChangeVideoBackground and received no reply. Don’t pay for the subscription just use the free version not worth the $26.

So I am a kid that is looking for an app that with your own photos that you have you can use for a background and I think it was my chance BUT I WAS Wrong!!! You have to PAY FOR JUST a little effect but I am just a kid that likes editing but it’s so frustrating I you guys do not change the payment I Will DEFINITELY DELETE EraseChangeVideoBackground I would of not did this if you made it have to pay so My mom and dad have to pay a lot sob this is just FRUSTRATING!!!,!!!'!!!''!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?!?!!!

Hello! So, i was looking around to find a app that erased videos and i came across EraseChangeVideoBackground. I downloaded it and and went to EraseChangeVideoBackground as soon as i could. When i went in it had backround and some other button and i clicked backround. It brought me to my photos so i chose a video and then it loaded for about a minute. Then it said choose size and i chose origanal. Then that took 20 seconds to load. After that, it brought me back to the front page where i started. You really need to work more on EraseChangeVideoBackground. You were not thinking this really really needs to be fixed i cant do anything. Hope you can take my advice and fix it. Bye!

I got it and at first it looked awesome but then when it came to save it i couldn’t so that is minus 2 stars. then when I was trying to make it i couldn’t zoom in so they should add that I and that is minus 1 star. I would rate EraseChangeVideoBackground a 1 star but I am feeling generous. I wish I can give a higher rate but I can’t because it is not that good I am so sorry tho but don’t get this it is a waste of time.

This is probably one of the most annoying apps ever. It doesn’t let you just get rid of a background. Once you get rid of it you can’t save it until you add a NEW background with is so stupid. It doesn’t even get rid of the background well, your going to post something and your gonna realize half you head is gone in the middle of the video. My advise is just don’t get it.

well, i was using a short 2 seconds video for my forground, (idk how to spell) and another 2 second video for background. (Using greenscreen for forground). I was trying to do a lego minfigure walking in a minecraft world but nothing showed up, and it showed everything being transparent, even though I selected a video (with greenscreen) for the forground. If this ISNT an issue and im just a huge noob than maybe let me know?

Well, I mean, EraseChangeVideoBackground is what I have been looking for, for a long time. I guess it’s ok. By EraseChangeVideoBackground if you want it contain your videos and pictures in the background you want. EraseChangeVideoBackground is great in someways and bad in others really, I think that EraseChangeVideoBackground could do better but it’s what I’ve been looking forward to make all my movies.

It’s a cool app. Being able to remove video backgrounds is surprisingly unheard of in iPhone apps. I’ve been using EraseChangeVideoBackground for a while now, and while it gets the job done, the automatic feature is next to useless.

Automatic has helped in the past, but it’s never 100% accurate, it never keeps the subject’s proportions in each frame, and it’s always required me to go in and edit frame by frame. Because of this, my finished video looks wispy and choppy on the edges of my figure because I can never exactly erase one frame the way I erase another. It’s even worse with videos with multiple or crowds of people.

I have an idea though. Implement the ability to select a subject you want in the frame. I’ve seen many apps use AI to keep its subject just by you drawing a line on it so it’ll know what to keep. Also, you should use a better AI that can successfully look at and remove your subject. That would be great. Please add👍

I thought EraseChangeVideoBackground was going to be awsome because I really like editing. But to my surprise I had to get my picture but by restoring it every second of my video. I really like EraseChangeVideoBackground but for my request I want to ask if u can erase the whole background by itself because like I said I had to erase every second of the video with the undo button I hope read this message and fix this tiny problem I am not trying to hate I really like EraseChangeVideoBackground but if that is not fixed the people trying to erase the background of there edits because of this tiny problem besides that it’s a good app and I will recommend it but if your someone out there trying to erase the background of a video I will not recommend it but everybody has there opinions no hate

Some problems I see are once you have synthesized you cannot go back to edit. Big problem when the objects you are putting together are not within the same area or proportion.
Sometimes it doesn’t pick up the part which needs to come out in the video in video and you have to go in manually frame by frame and fix that. It is truly incredible that it didn’t pick up a black object from a white background. You would think it would have a hard time when they are almost the same color.
Also you have to save it once synthesized, because it won’t be there when you come back to EraseChangeVideoBackground .

I like to edit goofy videos and while EraseChangeVideoBackground technically gets the job done it’s really tedious to have to sit there and edit it frame by frame when a video like mine that’s only 18 seconds is 500 frames I can’t imagine people who are actually editing it must be crazy, my suggestion would be one of those selectors like I’ve seen in other apps where you can select your subject and it cuts around it accordingly

Idk why people think EraseChangeVideoBackground is bad, it’s pretty good, it worked really well on erasing my background just messy lines. It’s kind of bad at editing videos, but if you’re just looking to erase a background, then I recommend it.

It it a great app it just drains my battery so fast like it will be at 100% then down to 50% so please fix that and I’d say that it needs a few updates, and it keeps asking me to rate it, and you need to pay to get the pictures, that’s just annoying I hate apps that do that. Well that is it bye!

It’s an awesome app I love it a lot but sometimes it shows a little background from the original video I mean it doesn’t have to be perfect but mostly while someone on the screen the original background shows in between the legs other then that it is great I love it it’s what I’ve been looking for for about two months but now I finally found the one I want this one I just want to thank you for making EraseChangeVideoBackground a think so thank you!

It’s kind of Cool but when I’m trying to edit a video with a background it’s pitch black and there’s no way I can see the video I can give you 5 stars if you can make videos be clear and have it all good quality. Also kind of a cool app wish we had more...Also fix your apps a lil more and ppl will stop complaining

I just purchased the program to test it out and it did a great job of inserting a video ocean background (the water moves and you can hear ocean sounds) behind a picture of me that I took in my room with no green screen. I’m amazed after only that one test run.

Lately your app became useless, it’s crash anytime I try to do anything with it, so either you fix it or you are going to force me to cancel my membership.?!!!!!!!…

Is it perfect? Oh no. BUT this is the only app I’ve found right now that does this and it does it remarkably well. I can only imagine with further development it will improve.

For best results, film the foreground subject against a still, largely solid background. Use good lighting and a steady camera and the result is, quite frankly, mind-blowing for an iPhone app. The free version is essentially fully-featured sans HD video output (SD output is included free). However, at $2.99 a year, the subscription is a good value and the quality of the final video is very good. I have noticed some slight audio sync issues (honestly, borderline unnoticeable but I’m a perfectionist) however I’m bringing the videos I make with this into other software for further editing anyway so this has not caused an issue.

Overall this is a very powerful tool for video artists on-the-go or for folks without access to a green/blue screen and I hope to see further updates from the developers. Certainly will be an important part of my special effects arsenal.
