I’m definitely enjoying Filmroll.
For those of us that enjoy shooting film, it’s a lot of fun being able to emulate them on the phone.

I do wish there were a few more controls (curves, exposure, shadows, highlights etc…), but for what it does, it does very well.

If you want to shoot film but can’t swallow the price of a pack of Portrait 800 then use Filmroll. Unbelievable quality and feel. Really brings life and magic to a camera app with a hangover for hyper-realism. I’m requesting the feature for the display not too sleep while Filmroll is open. Also, the ability to make favorite folders for outdoor shooting, indoor, nighttime, etc. would make the experience a richer one.

By achieve the mission the user will be able to unlock the next new filler and free to get them. That’s much better and friendly than others which just allow you to purchase functions in app.

One of the better film reproduction apps. There aren’t any built-in editing tools but the film presets are decent and the colors are pretty true to the film they try to emulate. The images are still noticeably digital. It would be nice to have more tools to control grain, light leaks, etc. The watermark feature is a nice touch. Overall worth keeping around.

The hoops you have to jump through to unlock the different films are a little bit annoying but the film simulations are very good and I like Filmroll . If you have experience with film, nostalgia will make Filmroll appealing. If you missed out on film, you can get some vague idea of what was cool a out it.

For the price of the film filters it’s not too bad. I like how you can do a few task to unlock a few of the film filters. The reason I’m deducting one starS is because you cannot adjust your picture after you’ve applied the filter.

I love film photography (both colour and b&w) and to have the option to apply different film types to the phone’s camera gives the photos more life and mood. Very clean and simple interface.

Filmroll has different missions for you to do to unlock all the film roll. It doesn’t force you to purchase pro subscription to get all the filters unlike the others.

I have a film camera and have been shooting film since 2018. However Filmroll gives great image like my 35mm film camera!

I like that you have the option to unlock the different films instead of it just being paid content. Since I can’t buy a film camera right now this is a great substitute

Honestly just downloaded Filmroll like 5 minutes ago hahaha but I’m already in love with Filmroll. I love photography although I don’t have a real camera and Filmroll is one of my favorites so far besides NOMO! If you love photography like me, I definitely suggest using Filmroll, the quality in the pictures are just as good as it would be in the original film camera!

I was thinking of buying a film camera, but then I found Filmroll. It saved me money from not buying the actual camera and using this. I am loving Filmroll!!!! Must try.

My bf introduced me to Filmroll and so far I love Filmroll! takes the best photos! and the filters look very nice. So easy to use because i hate editing my photos and Filmroll literally does it for you! definitely get it

This is the most realistic feeling film app I’ve ever used! I shoot a lot of film photography but when using my iPhone I still want to Capture that Rall energy of a film photograph. This one isn’t trying to hard nor is it understating genuine aspects of different types of film.

I’m saving up for an actual vintage one day, but this does it’s job for the time being. I love that I can choose different rolls for a specific look that I want to go for. It’s free and the pics come out really cute every time.

i’ve been looking for an easy app to apply retro looking filters and i found exactly what i was looking for. an easy solution to get pictures that look like they were taken from a disposable camera without going through the process of waiting.

I really like Filmroll for the Tri-x and HP5 filters. They are really well done. The color filters are ok, but there’s TOO MUCH grain in them. Also, white balance is tricky with the color filters: outdoors in daylight it seems best to turn off the auto balance in Filmroll , but, indoors under tungsten, etc. it seems best to switch it on.

Lots of potential here.

Filmroll has been exactly what I’ve been looking for. Great filters, frames, and the quality of the final photos are beautiful. I’m definitely considering buying the full lifetime version because it’s also so affordable! I know that I’ll be getting my money’s worth and more.

I always shoot in digital but I love the film effects… gotta be honest, shooting in film is such a hassle - unlike digital cameras, you have to wait weeks to develop and you are not able to check photos right after (some people claim it's the essence/fun part of films, but it's just too much for me😂)
Recently I only travel with my phone, and those films effects are just perfect for me!!

I just want to say that I love Filmroll. Can you make it to where you can change the date format and make it to where there can be more different formats for the date? Thankyou🙂
