Christmas Spirit: Mother Goose Reviews

Domini games is probably my favorite developer, but this one was just not up to par. A few creative mini games, but most have been done elsewhere. Upon playing this game for the second time, now the racing horse cart game has no arrows to move the horse out of the way of obstacles, so I had to skip that game and I hated doing that! Hos are mainly list, with some silhouette, 2 storybook, 2 find the matching pairs and one match the item with its silhouette via sliders (which I really like.) They did, however, have their usual delightful scene touches, such as icicles dropping, or birds flying away, when tapped. You collect candy canes to use as currency to buy tree ornaments, gingerbread cookies to decorate your gingerbread house, and storybook characters to display in a case along with their matching rhymes. But gameplay was very linear; you are playing in only 2-3 scenes at a time. You often find an item then immediately use it. Just didn’t do it for me at all, and game length was shorter than average. Would have upped my original rating of 3 stars to 4, simply for the wonderfully creative extras they put in, but because of the horse game glitch, I had to leave it at 3 stars😔. Sorry, Domini! Love everything else!

I am enchanted by this game....it takes me back to my childhood with emotions and while I’m playing, my adult mind is solving the riddles... such fun and satisfaction. It’s hard in this modern word to feel satisfaction! So I suggest you put everything away, come sit, and let go...right now would be a good time! I keep breaking out with smiles when I solve a problem and the realness of the characters and the graphics improve the atmosphere of “just a game! Sound effects are gentle on the ear and add a depth to the action that is shared with the actions being given and taking.....Ahhhhhh! WHAT’s this....?

I know a lot of us are so very disgusted that Big Fish became small fish and are not doing any more HOG”s. I think they made the wrong choice. I saw this by searching in ChristmasSpirit Store for Hidden object adventure games and sorted by release date.... glad I did! I haven’t completed bonus chapter yet but game play was long and cute! I hope some of you who enjoy these games will find it... definitely worth the price! I hope the person who is selling this will continue with Domini Games... I also hope someone else will step up and overrule Big Fish... or little fish now.... horrible company that they turned into... Merry Christmas..Happy Holidays!

I don’t know what happened to Big Fish but luckily I just happened to stumble across this game. Domini is one of my favorite creators!! This game didn’t disappoint. There’s even extras added for beginners (like a silhouette of the parts you need to put an item together). I’m so glad that Domini continued with their games independently instead of waiting around for Big Fish. Now I need to be on the lookout for others. The only thing that I wasn’t fond of is the strategy guide. I’m so glad that they included it within the game but it is a little difficult to follow & hard to read (the color font blends in with the background). Keep them coming Domini!!!

UPDATE: I just finished playing this delightful game. My review stands at 5. Graphics are beautiful as usual with this developer, and the story is sweet and appropriate for the season. No glitches and a good length.

I have just purchased this game and am excited to finally have a new game to play on my iPad Pro. This is not a review as yet but wanted to shout out to Lynx Minx for looking out for those of us who were abandoned by Big Fish. Wish 5-BN would port their games directly to iOS as well. Thanks also to the developers who are addressing the needs of the iOS gaming community.

I’m so thankful to play a new game from one of my favorite developers. I’ve been lost since Big Fish discontinued games for iPads. Many heartfelt thanks! I’m taking my time playing to thoroughly enjoy the beautiful scenery & graphics and absolutely love the continuity, fun, length and gameplay. If you haven’t purchased, do so! I love these games but find it ridiculous that when you get to a certain point you have to pay almost $7 to continue the game to be able to finish it. This is not only this game you have to pay to finish, it’s all the games associated with this company that you have to pay $7 for, so even tho these games are fun and challenging , it’s not worth paying $7 for each game.....That’s a bit to high for each game!!!! I would understand paying $7 total for ALL the games but not $7 for 1 game and then another $7 for another, and so on.

I’m not that far into the game yet, but I like it. Hopefully, I won’t have to re-rate this game. The graphics are good and so is the storyline. I also like collecting the gingerbread men, candy canes and little people.

I didn’t think I’d ever get to play anymore graphically spectacular hidden object adventure games on my new iPad that I paid a fortune for, but now yes!

fixed not being able to buy it, (don’t know where my first review went complaining about that). I thought all was good, til it started freezing occasionally as I moved through the game. I’ve had to do a hard restart to clear freezes on my iPad 2x, and got to finish the main game. However, now it’s crashing entirely in the bonus game when I try to enter Bo Peeps cabin. Never had this much trouble with a game. Not worth this much hassle.

Stunning graphics. Love the storyline using old Grimes children rhythms to save Christmas.

Please keep these games coming. Thank you for stepping up after Big Fish and putting out quality hidden object games like this.

I play games all the time and this has to be my absolute favorite. Especially this time of year. I don’t want it to end!!!

Between Grimm tales and Mother Goose, Mother Goose is the better choice in my opinion. The story and characters are more engaging. Would love for Domini games to create more Christmas themed games.

I’ve played a lot of hidden object games but this was one of the best I ever played. Very creative. I can’t wait to play more from Domini Games

One week ago, I emailed Support about my iPad Pro not being compatible with this game.

Voila! Today the fix was put through, and it works perfectly.

I immediately purchased it. Such a welcome departure from all the dark, dreary games from Big Fish.

I cannot believe how much I am enjoying this game. The graphics, puzzles, and story are all fantastic.

It’s like (I’m sorry for this) really really really really addicting and fun to play and so far it’s just a good game to play
