Doodle Jump Christmas PLUS Reviews

The designs are more detailed. There are different monsters that you recognize as you jump higher. The gameplay is also slightly easier so I can jump longer. I prefer to play this to the original one with different maps.

What can I say about Doodle Jump that hasn't been said before - it's a fun game!!!

I like the graphics and coloring in this special Christmas version - very appealing :) So appealing that I've been playing it during the hottest part of the summer lol! I love it!

They've done it again, they have made an awesome game just like the original!

This game is a very good game for kids and teens. If u are a adult reading this, it might now enthusiast you as the way I think of it. I believe that in this game you can collect Christmas presents for points. With these coins, you can buy these awsome, cool, funny characters. They are much better when you play or see them, I'm sure the way I say it isn't fun or interesting, but I'm doing the best I can. Anyways, these characters are more than characters, they are a show off. You can challenge your friends with one of your greatest characters and show your friend them. They will say " OH MY GOD, how did u get such a awesome character like that.

It's much more fun when you play, especially when you get to move your electronic around and jump on long bricks. This game is a good game in my opinion. I'm sure u will love it too. Enjoy and I hope you liked my writing about it.

The Good: Same Doodle Jump Greatness. The graphics and presentation is even better. The monster with the lights is hilarious.

The Bad: Only one theme. You might want to make this "Doodle Jump Seasons" with Halloween and other events. Also this is a separate app. I do not mind this, but I think it would have been more convenient to make this paid DLC as an in-app purchase. But I will accept this.

THE HORROR: No achievements! What in the carnation were you thinking?!!! A game of this caliber that supports Game Center should have achievements!!! It really does add to the replay value.

The Verdict: It's great like the original game, but it honestly should be in-app DLC. It feels light and I know updates are coming, but it will be difficult to get fans of the original to buy this as well until this happens. Lack of achievements also detract from the overall value of this particular app. While it feels incomplete, I will be more than happy to support this and the original Doodle Jump. Support like this goes a long way. Trust me, I have 12 years of experience in gaming. You have my approval, so let's add some more stuff now, ok?

game is awesome, but is pretty much the same as the original. as i feel with the "angry birds seasons" and other apps that make a new "payed" update, i have NO problem with paying an additional buck for this new version/update, HOWEVER, it should have been an "in-app" purchase...i have enough icons/apps taking up my limited space, so i would prefer only ONE per same game. would have been 5 stars with in-app purchase.

If you think it should be free then there's a simple solution: don't buy it and just play the winter theme. I agree with this: look at all the free updates we've received...is $0.99 really that much of a strain on your pocketbook?
All of that aside I am pleased with my purchase. Updated graphics look fantastic. Loads better than the winter theme, imo. It's also nice that to have new leaderboards...makes me feel like I have a chance, heh. If you're on the fence about this just read some more reviews...or just go out on a whim and toss a dollar away. That's what I did. It was worth it. :)

Guys, c'mon, is it really that bad that Lima Sky charged us for an update this ONE time? After almost thirty free updates? They more than deserve some pay, especially with the way that they've catered to us with all of this amazing content. And besides, DoodleJumpChristmasPLUS is going to be getting updates just like the original that will be free as well, so stop sweating so much over it. It is a game after all (and a good one at that).

I love this so much it's so cool. At first you get annoyed because its hard than fun. Also the fact their are themes of doodlejump! They should make Halloween theme thanksgiving summer theme and more. That's how much I love it it is soooooooooo fun! What I mean is I LOVE IT!!!! It's awesome also the way it looks like it was draw I love the way they made it <333also they do multiplayer if u have game center sign up and if you have invite a friend to play it first I didn't know but I do now!!

I love DoodleJumpChristmasPLUS, I play it a lot. I just wish that you Lima Sky would make an update with achievements, a long with that multiplayer. I also think you should rename this "Doodle Jump Holiday Version" and make valentine, hanukah, easter, halloween, and an island from pocket god. All these should all be themes for your update that you should start brainstorming about. remember make it high quality like the Christmas theme

Alot of people complain that the original doodle jump app is better. The original app has more themes, but the Christmas version is more challenging. Both are great games that everyone should own, but if you have to pick one, the original would probably be a better pick, and seems to get updated more often.

When I saw there was a new Doodle Jump for sale I was hoping it would be the same characters as the original different game play. A new twist somehow. Instead this is basically just another of the seasonal versions typically seen when you swipe the bottom of the original version. It is very pretty, indeed, but I don't find any of the alternate graphic versions to be as fun as the original.

Doodle Jump Christmas is so cute and even though it's an additional cost to the original, it's totally worth it! I absolutely love the cute graphics, and how you can get different characters with the coins that you earn, and you can still go back to your other one's. This game is so addictive and I can't stop playing it! Thank you so much Lima Sky!!! 

Where are the updates???
I only bought this game bc I thought it would be updated with new content regularly. The design is sleek and background is cute, but needs more. Hopefully you have something up ur sleeve for this years Xmas...

I have the original Doodle Jump and it's one of my very favorite games and I'm not much of a gamer.!!
I grabbed this version as soon as it came out and I'm delighted with it. LOADS of fun.
It's ONLY a buck and they put a lot of hard work into DoodleJumpChristmasPLUS. Grab a copy, you'll love it.
YES, I realize there's a winter theme to the original now, but I'm still glad I bought this one too.!!

I love this one more than the original version. The graphics is distracting you and definitely it's harder than the original one. I wonder why some users are complaining about the price, It doesn't make sense at all. It's just a dollar. This game is not same as the older version and it should be separate from that. You will enjoy this game.

Christmas Doodlejump has some cool tricks that the regular game doesn't have. The red rocket ship is impressive, and the Christmas world is definitely more hostile than the regular game. The Santa is not quite as agile as the regular Doodle and it's more difficult to get high scores. The higher you go eventually you reach a level that has obstacles which are impossible to defeat and therefore are sort of unfair. But overall, this is a fun game.

When DoodleJumpChristmasPLUS first came out I knew it was just a Christmas version. But it said that updates will come just like the original. DoodleJumpChristmasPLUS has came out almost a year ago and not even a minor update was given. DoodleJumpChristmasPLUS is good that's why I'm not going to give it a terrible rating. But I would have gave it 5 stars if it did what it said it would do. Who knows if they are planning any for this years Christmas but so far nothing was given.

its a good game just like the original, but it says there is future themes for this one, so im ready for themes
there could be a
-new years theme with lots of colors and stuff id like to see a theme with a rainbow of colors in it that just sounds cool
-maybe like futuristic theme like similar stuff to halo or NOVA
-what about a sports theme with football baseball basketball golf all that good jazz
-maybe a heavan theme like jump on clouds see gold and stuff
-mario theme would be cool but all that mario copyright may be a problem
-4th of july would be sweet with fireworks
overall buy it if ur a fan of doole jump this one will be even better when they put more themes on it cant wait!

doodle jump is a great game and is one of those "must haves" on your ipod, iPhone, iPad. I love the game with its cute character and cool design and when I am with younger kids it keeps them occupied! great game! I do wish they could have different sport based levels like tennis, basketball, football, and baseball on the original doodle jump. 🎾🏀🏈⚾👍👍👍
