Scrambled my contacts

In trying to get rid of duplicate contacts, it’s scrambled all my contact information as if it toss them like a deck of cards and reassembled them randomly. People have wrong phone numbers, the email addresses of other people. Trying to restore now from an old backup of my phone.
Usually hangs on search for duplicates

Tried about 20 times to search for duplicates. I usually kill it after 20 minutes or so. Only one time did it give me results and I did not have time to go through them all then!

This is the worst contact manage ever .. will not let you undo something that was just done and it does not have any help notes or memos to guide thru certain steps. I don’t recommend it to anyone
