If it ain’t broke…

This was an awesome app. Simple, easy to use. And I’d give it 5 stars if the developers hadn’t “improved” it. Now I have to remove all the zeros from the readings input boxes before I add my readings because I now can’t overwrite the zeros, they just stay there along with my added numbers unless I delete them first. 2nd issue is when I tap the plus for new reading, it opens my last reading rather than a blank new one. At first I thought I was accidentally tapping previous reading but tonight I carefully tapped the plus and, sure enough, it displayed this mornings readings, not a new “blank”. So what used to take a total of 4 steps (from tapping the plus for new, to entering numbers in 3 boxes) now takes a minimum of 9. How is this an improvement? Have you ever heard “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it?”

Clutter printed version and anxiety driven nuisance; lost my interest with it muy pronto

This thing has too much clutter for my use and it’s not simple when entering data because each time you enter a data cell and tap to enter the next cell it drops below the keyboard and you can’t see what your typing in that cell. The print version has each entry divided by a lot of extraneous redundant text. Looks like I’ll be moving on to something like a spreadsheet. Simple would be one line: date|BP|Time|Note. Forget your long quadruple waste of write space, you should have easy row upon row of data for easy comparison from hour to hour and day to day.

This is close to being good but a failure for me. Too much clutter itwouldbeliketryingtofigurethisout. My doctor would not waste time trying to read this; she’d end up with high BP.

Another irritation because of the keyboard hiding from me is the darn google ads that obscure the screen and I’d try to X them to close only to be taken to my browser - more waste of time.

This thing can raise your blood pressure 10 points in user unfriendliness. The only thing fun about it is - well - ... duh!

Fix it and let me know... yeah, I won’t hold my breath. Money drives this stuff and user be damned. So far this is a #loser hashtag for me. Bye!

Great App

I downloaded MyBloodPressureJournal yesterday morning and I have used it twice so far. It’s very easy and simple to use. Not only is it keep track of my blood pressure and pulse I love the fact that I can enter notes and save them such as the time medications were taken, and on a daily basis if I want to. I can send these to my doctor for her to look at. Date and time also included from MyBloodPressureJournal. Very nice app.

Terrible. Poorly designed app.

Klunky interface. Especially poor is the comment/notes text box, which displays far too little text whether in browse or edit mode. I totally get the fact that a free app has to serve up ads. But the ads are loud and extremely annoying. I deleted this crappy app off my phone the first day. MyBloodPressureJournal has the look and feel of something thrown together in an afternoon by a 14 year old kid while cookbooking from “Programming for Dummies”. I would rather pay for an app that is designed by someone who knows what they are doing and that does not serve up noxious ads that counterproductively raise one’s blood pressure.

Like old format better

When I went to my cardiologist I used to show him the graph of my past blood pressure readings. The numbers were there. Now your graph has no numbers and that does me and the doc no good without graph. The old graph was readable at just a glance. Your new “mountain type” graph is no good for me. Maybe you could make the old graph type an option. Just a suggestion from a person who uses your app a lot. Still will use.

So many ads!

I loved MyBloodPressureJournal and it was very helpful. I didn’t mind the ads at the bottom of the screen but a couple of weeks ago I started getting sprint video ads that take up the whole screen! Plus they start off with loud music. When you are just documenting your blood pressure first thing in the morning you don’t expect to have loud music and an ad start up. I’m really disappointed.
Also with the new update I have to get rid of the “0”s before I can put in my numbers.
Is that just a glitch and something you will be fixing?

5 star product

It is all you need to keep a journal of your BP and pulse rate. It is easy to use. Very well put together. The thing I would like to do is to be able to sync MyBloodPressureJournal between my ipad and iphone and I don’t know how to do. I highly recommend it.

I would like to give this app 5 stars

Hi! I have been using MyBloodPressureJournal for some time now, there are ads but I understand wanting someone to purchase for the ad free version. However why did you take away the option to export my log to my doctor? As of three days ago (latest and largest update I have seen) I can not export my entries. This is a big problem as I need to report my entries every week! Please fix so I can change my rating. Thanks.

Easy to Use

MyBloodPressureJournal does exactly what the doctor needs. You can document your blood pressure and pulse rate. When it’s time to give the information to the doctor, it has an easy copy feature which allows you to paste it into the body of an email.

B/p journal

I love the easy convenient way to keep my B/P every day at any time or as many times as I need to keep track of it. A must have. I just started taking a new medicine and my Doctor Raved about MyBloodPressureJournal Bc she could see my progress and adjust my medicine according to these journals. Thanks

Great App

This is a great app. I would love it even more if there was a paid version to avoid from the pop up ads. It hard to hit the “x” button on the ads because the “x” is so small to click.

I like this

Great app! Very simple to use. No added, unneeded fluff. This is something I could download for my parents and not have to show them how to use every time

By

Crashes

I downloaded this because I need to keep track of my blood pressure for potential medicine changes. I am required to test twice a day. I input the first one of the day no problems. The second one, program crashes as soon as I hit “save”. Until it is fixed, I am going to use something else. Otherwise, program looks promising. It does what I want it to do.

Works great, but loud obtrusive ads not good

MyBloodPressureJournal works great. Simple to use. The static ads at the bottom of the screen are OK, but periodically ads take over the screen. The loud audio associated with the ads is very annoying. To the developers—-thanks for a well designed, useful app. Please at least silence the ads!

Great App

MyBloodPressureJournal is simple to use and produces a great record. I check my blood pressure twice a day. I looked at several other apps that produce all sorts of fancy graphs but my doctor only wants to see a log of readings.

App fits my needs perfectly

As a software engineer I appreciate apps that meet my needs and don’t over complicate. User interface is simple and straightforward

Adds get in the way

This was a great ap but now you can’t stop the ads and frequently can’t clear the ads to use the ap. I know that’s how they make money but if the ads keep you from making entries it’s worthless

By

Easy

A few years ago, my blood pressure starting to raise. I needed to track it . MyBloodPressureJournal made it so easy. My doctor love when I show up with all my logs

By

Good app

I like this as a good simple easy to use app. I would like to see levels of hypertension coded in color from normal (green) elevated (yellow) and high (red) this would be a great quick reference when showing my doctor how I am doing between visits.

By

BP APP

Easy to download and use. This helps keeping track of my daily BP with out any gimmicks or hassles. All APPS should be this simple and user friendly.

Absolutely Perfect...

No extraneous BS....this is a simple log with the ability to note any circumstances that might have affected the test. This is just what my doctor wants to see, it even includes the time of day. KUDOS!
