This game makes it impossible to do anything without spending real money. Not only do they try to force you to spend real money but their prices are ridiculous to where no on in their right mind should fall for it. If they wanted to sucker people into spending money price everything for .99 cents or 1.99 that way they’re more likely to spend it. Coins make no difference in the game since you can only upgrade your board with them(not buy a new one). The only way other than spending money to remotely change anything in the game is to use your daily spin(which isn’t actually daily). And you never get anything that’s actually valuable you usually get coins which you get plenty of while playing but have zero need for. This game could be awesome if they weren’t being so greedy and desperately trying to take your money. At least be good at trying to take peoples money by doing it sneakily.

Game looks great, doesn’t require energy to keep playing, and currency adds up sufficiently.
Landing your tricks is too difficult. There needs to be an on-screen prompt so we know when we’re pointing the right way for the landing. Maybe an arrow that goes from red to green when you’re safe to land? A green check mark? Anything would be better than nothing.
My games last about 15 seconds at a time because I fall on my face when I thought I was aimed correctly. Fix this and you’ll get better ratings.

This game has great mechanics. I’ve always wanted some sort of skate game on iOS but have never enjoyed any of them until this one. The potential to expand on this game is huge. Here is a few thoughts:

1. This game is way too good to have it be plagued with annoying ads every 10 seconds you play. I’d pay $4.99 to get rid of the ads but that is somehow not an option yet.

2. With all the different levels, this game could totally have a campaign mode of some sort where it takes you through every level and you have to get a certain number of points to progress on. Rather than giving out new tricks via a pay to play vending machine (👎), you could earn them by progressing through the campaign.

3. Being able to create your own skater and customize aspects of them would be rad.

If these things where all present in the game it would be worth at least $9.99... even if it was just a simple half pipe game.

Please read what I have to say! This game WAS great but, now it’s just boring their is nothing to do and even one time I was playing and I tried to start but it wouldn’t let me but this is just my opinion other of you guys might think this game is great but think again buddy because IT’S NOT FUN anyway just please don’t download FlipSkater because eventually you will get bored 😐 and there is also to many adds like every time you achieve something like those ox’s or whatever it takes you right to an add so yes PLEASE DO NOT DOWNLOAD FlipSkater IF YOU WANT TO BE BORED!

This is a fun game to play and pass time. I’ve always loved skateboarding games and to see one like this is awesome. It’s easy to play and fun. However, upgrading and getting new items is nearly impossible. To win something you have to get a suprise item out of a machine which gets incresasingly more expensive causing you to spend more coins each time. Not only that but each time I’ve gotten a chance to win something i end up getting a “prize” I already have. It’s incredibly annoying. Whoever created this game, work on fixing that. It’d be a lot better.

The idea of a skateboarding game ideally would be allowing all aspects of skateboarding to be involved and the fluency of controls between those styles of skating should be phenomenal. Now, i understand this is not a skateboarding simulator (as a matter of fact, its not even really a vert simulatuon) but by pushing this as a "skateboarding" app, theres not any skill to exhibit in terms of critical thinking and timing of execution and many other things about real life skateboarding. Again, im not trying to criticize this as a skateboarding simulation, because thats not what it is, but it could at least have some aspect of realism and try to capture the freedom of skating my combining tricks and grans. But as a free app to goof around on, its pretty solid for that job

I’ve played a lot of skateboarding and snowboarding games and have been looking for a good one. This game has a variety of tricks but they all revolve around a backflip or front flip. So I wish the creator of this game could have been a little better at competing up with skate tricks. Also the way that gives you money the most is ads. Its should be that you get a little bit of money from ads and more from playing the game. Also this game has “ad breaks” which means your on home screen and then an ad starts playing. And if you’re a kid like me with a time limit for games that can be really annoying. But when you playing the game it’s self it is a pretty fun free game.

It’s a fun game to waste time with. Unfortunately, it’s pretty easy. You can do 3 moves the whole time and rack up crazy high points. There’s no real reward for playing. I got the last character from the prize machine the first 15 mins that I played (I’ve had FlipSkater maybe about 2 weeks now). After that it’s all upgrading. I maxed him out and one of my skateboards so there’s no reason for me to use any other boards or characters. Great job updating game with new content. I wish there was a leaderboard option to show where everyone is ranked on each map. That would be cool coz it’ll give me a reason to play more, to compete and get the most points on a map.

This is a really great game, very fun, very simple, and just a really good time killer. Now the only thing i see wrong with this game is its reward system. To get different character, boards, tricks, etc, you need to get them from the vending maching thingy. Now you might just think, " oh its just 25 coins" but the more you buy the more the cost goes up. So i would say bring it to 50 or 100 coins and make it stay there, dont make it so it can keep getting more expensive. If you are gonna take that path then i suggest reset the cost for each day back to 25 as each day goes by. Other than that, great game!

Only two things I have found I don’t like is when you fall and it gives you the opinion of saving your streak the game freezes once you get back to skating. Second when I go to buy tricks and it makes you go to that vending machine looking thing and gives you another character or skateboard. If I wanted to buy a skateboard or a character I would have selected that option. Other than that, the game is fun and I enjoy it. If these two things get fixed I will write a 5 star review.

When I first played this game, I was a little happy when looking at the graphics. Playing game with the skating detail seemed so cool and addicting. But one thing that annoyed me so much was the prize spinner. Every single time I spin the prize spinner, it gives me like the same things. Specifically, skateboards. I want other things, but it just keeps giving me skateboards. I love the music in the background, especially the whistling part because it was really funny and fun to hear when playing with my cousin. This is a cool game!

Please add more customizations to the character you choose for example a new shirt or shorts that increase style significantly because nothing goes with the samurai skateboard and I care about the looks more than the game and if you ever going to add these stuff if you unlock or buy one it’s for every character not just for only one. Anyways great game I love it 👍👍👍

I absolutely love this game I love skateboarding 🛹 and it’s the perfect game to play if I can’t go to the skatepark I don’t think there is too many adds compared to other games that I have played but I really like this games
Also I like that they included girls in the game because there are not many girls who skate. I am a girl 👧 and I love to skate vert just like this game

So far the game is really fun! Quick and simple gameplay is perfect for a mobile game. My one complaint is that there should be an option to swap which side the truck buttons are on for left hand play. If this is in the game already then I am not sure where to find the option. If this is fixed then it’s a very solid game!

This is a 💯Percent awesome game, the ad is not misleading, it has great fun in it through my opinion, and if I could,I would give it 9, The bad things are, when I first started, the game was being a bit hard on the turtorial whenever I try I’d to land I held to long, didn’t know my mistake yet,that’s just me though, so, Hope You Like The Game(if your downloading) Sorry it was long,Thax if your still reading this...

So I thought this was gonna be another boring game that you try and delete right after but gave it a shot anyway. Glad I did!! It’s great! Not too hard but also not so easy that you get bored real quick. It’s pretty easy to earn coins to upgrade and get new items and new characters. Good quality game and for free one of the better ones out there. I’ve paid for much worse than this. Bottom line...if your looking for a waiting room, bathroom or standing in line type of game, this one is PERFECT! and it’s great to just sit and enjoy while you’re home relaxing too. A++

The first time I ever played the game was pretty cool because it was the first time I ever played the game and because flip skater was just like the bottle flipping games in real life and on the internet so I played flip skater again and again and it got funnier every time I played became of the cool floors and skins and skate boards the maps that was the cool part but the Fun part was when you would hold the button and flip away till you miss the track and Brock some bones but then you would do it all again so that is why I like flip skater and everyone how’s reading this please rate this game and play it hopefully you will love the game

First I was bored. Life was meaningless. Then an ad for this game came up and I was interested. Skeptical it could actually solve my problem, I still went ahead and downloaded. To my surprise it was the most in depth game I’ve ever seen. First you spin but that’s not all. Soon after you flip as well! Then the board selection is pretty amazing too. Pay to “win” but all in all it did what I needed and now I’m not as bored.

This game is... let me just put it this way. AMAZING, OUTSTANDING, TERRIFIC, etc.
I saw a review that was a one star and it worries me but that review is, sorry, but wrong! This game is so time consuming. I played it for about an hour and I thought I had been playing it for five! It’s also very fun. The graphics are great, the tricks are great and the characters and locations are great. Download this game now. If I could I would give it six stars maybe seven! Don’t listen to the one star reviews, they aren’t very true, (might be, I dunno)
