Don’t get me wrong they have some interesting concepts like merging houses and other items. The story is decent (that is part of the problem also) and the animations are fun but on the tech. End it breaks down. The levels overall are decent challenge but it’s a obvious attempt at a cash grab because every time you get a bonus multiplier the level all of a sudden becomes impossible to beat. As soon as you run out of those multipliers then it magically becomes available to beat and move on. Then when you finally get to the last level (based on the update) you are stuck there until they update and you can’t even do a repeatable level to at least entertain yourself. As of this writing the last update was a month ago. Then there is the special events you get to do. The last one they did you could only participate if you were BELOW a certain level. So those of us that were at the end level could not even participate. As I mentioned earlier the story is also part of the problem. It’s not complete. They dribble out a bit of the story with each update. And because the story progresses on the number of stars you collect the story stops long before you get to the current end level. So really you are doing levels to collect stars for the next bit of story and basically is done before you even start new levels (rinse and repeat). So I’m sorry a game with so much potential has lost me and I must say to everyone..... skip it.

I started playing this game a few months back and I really liked it. However, the developers do not keep up with releasing levels to give all players engaged. Months go by with no new levels. Instead they focus on releasing game enhancements that only cause frustration. One mini game allows other players to steal your buildings. The only way to earn the shields that block a steal is to play levels. But they don’t create enough levels for players to be able to participate in the event. They created a teams feature so that they could have team events, but the team events require you to be able to beat levels, AND THERE ARE NO LEVELS TO PLAY. I have written to support on numerous occasions asking them to focus on main game play, but they never respond. It is unfortunate, because the game is fun. There just isn’t enough of it.

Why make the game so hard that you can ONLY progress by spending money?! You may as well make the Rune clock an item that must be purchased. Every time it resets, the game becomes impossible to beat and you end up losing it anyway. The same thing happens with the double points feature that you earn for building upgrades.
Also, it takes FOREVER to complete challenges if you’re not spending a ton of money because you can only earn one star for completing a level, but each mission requires at least three stars to finish.
What’s even more frustrating is that if you do make a purchase, the game double charges your account each time.
Then there’s the Top Magician Challenge. Again, you can only benefit from participating in this if you spend a ton of money! Seriously?! 9000 diamonds per game?! NO ONE can earn enough diamonds to compete in this! Your measly two free turns per day does NOTHING!
Finally, here’s a suggestion. If you’re gonna give us the option to visit friends, how about make it count for something. Let us leave a free gift for each friend we visit. It should be one free gift per day per friend (no charge to the visitor). It could be something small like a level 1 street lamp or plant.

They continue to ignore the people who play and are frustrated by the lack of levels. People hate the stealing game but it keeps coming back. Do yourself a favor skip this game.

After being told 7 to 10 days several times for an update, I was told on the 13th. Of course on the 13th no update.
They do not care about their customers, read their Facebook page to see what most of us think.

We have been told that new updates would be available in 7 to 10 days. It's been 3 weeks. Support does not reply. Many of us cannot play even in the side games as some of the games are dependent on having stars. Besides that what's the point of playing and winning free time, or hammers with a 24 hour time limit if we have no levels to play.

The concept is good but you get stuck very quickly and
There is no way to progress. There are a few things that do not work and customer service will not answer questions orfix the issues. I like the idea of this game but i-am not going to-keep paying them while they ignore or disrespect customers.

It was a fun game and the concept of acquiring buildings is fun. However you get stuck very quickly waiting for an update to be able to play. In the mean time support tells you to play the side games. Of course to get anything out of the side games you must pay. My advice skip this game.

Developers are letting players loose high ranked, hard to come by, and some times paid for items!! I just spent $10 on the game, and it’s not the 1st time I’ve supported in the year I’ve played!!! They hardly add new levels, yet are continually running side games that let their highest ranked, and most loyal game players loose hard earned game items! Why are you letting your players loose items???
Why should I buy something from you that you will let someone else steal? Why not, reward the ‘thief’ with a random property from the village they attack, but DO NOT ACTUALLY STEAL FROM ANYONE, just let us both have it, a duplicate! Why would you ever take from anyone who invests time and or money in your game?
I also, for the second time had a wand fail to open a village to steal from!! So, today I used up what materials I saved to have a glitch keep me from actually winning anything, have lost three properties (of which you only allow us to pay for one to be replaced), and I can’t play any levels to get building more materials!!! IT’S BEYOND RIDICULOUS!!!
And with No new levels... No way to get stars!!! So, that means No Dice Game side game!! I have no way to play it!!! Low level players can easily accumulate stars, and then win big gem piles, to get more ways to steal my properties in your other side games! How is this fair?????

It’s a compelling story with cute graphics. There are definitely not enough instructions about prizes and buildings and you inadvertently run out of space for them, and then you can’t move them around due to lack of space, so you are forced to purchase new space which will cost you lots of real dollars after only playing the first several levels. Shame. It’s just not possible to earn enough blue gems to purchase it without playing 1000 levels, and the levels get hard very quickly. This one is a money grabber that relies on grabbing your emotions with an orphan boy and missing grandmother so you pay money to find out what happens next. With so many similar games that are so much easier to play, you’re better off skipping this one. I’m not spending actual money to find out what happens to this kid. Most of the low reviews say the same thing, and almost all of the developer responses say the same thing. “Just keep playing.” No thanks.

After seeing hundreds of ads for this game on my other games, I finally downloaded it and it is nothing like the advertisements show. You don’t get to choose your own characters. There are no failing storylines. You can’t make money playing it. All lies, which makes me feel scammed and not wanting to trust these devs. I feel bad because I know people probably worked hard on this, but to lie to people who want to legit play and pay the game to support you is awful. The graphics are cool and that’s all I can really say is good. It’s mostly just another boring Match 3, no offense. There are way too many of these. Why do devs keep copying each other? Can’t they think of different types of puzzles and stories? Ugh. If they stop the false advertising, I would give this a better rating. Another thing that could help is if they get a professional editor because the text has a ton of mistakes.

It is a fun game, but it is very expensive to play. You have to pay for everything. You cannot get past levels without boosters, which most of time you have to buy. To get mote land to expand it is $30,000 diamonds which you will never save. But you can for the cost between $30 and $50 USD. Right now I don’t know about you, but this are hard times, and we need games to help cope with the quarantine. Also a lot of people just don’t have the money to play. Let’s face it even with buying boosters it can take forever to get past a level. So just wanted to say thanks for the price gouging, and a game set to make spend a ton of money. I did like the story, and building, but now going to delete the game.

At first the game was fun, although very similar to other cheaper games that are available the graphics and storyline are good. However, it’s getting harder and harder to pass a level and it’s repetitive the same things over and over. Progress is very slow, you spend hours to days trying to pass a level just to pick up a piece of trash and start all over again trying to pass another level. Why can’t you clear an area? Merging you get the same items that you have no room for, no storage for them at all.
This update I don’t agree with I work to hard trying to clear a board again hours or days no matter it’s my time or using diamonds I’ve purchased or earned for someone to steal a building, It don’t matter if I have 3 or 10 give me the option to sell or trade but not have them taken that is not a good idea.

So here’s another Match 3 puzzle that falls into the same trap that they all do: completely random start, not enough moves to win (without some microtransactions, wink wink), but we’re going to reward you of your random start happens to be good enough that you are able to finish it the first time you play level. Then, we’re going to limit the amount of time you play by giving you a predetermined 5 lives unless you want to buy some more in another microtransaction (wink wink).

The only redeeming qualities to this one (and why it got 2* instead of 1*) is that it has a decent story - although not good enough to keep my playing - and it’s adds the element of a merge game in the city, so it mixes genres. But still a match 3 game at its core with all the same Match 3 game problems.

My first question is how do I set up my PayPal account to earn money with Townest? I downloaded app to see this feature. I’ve been playing for a few months and still have not come across this feature.

I also would like to comment on the space made available for grouping the houses together. It is way to small. If we could even store items until we have what is needed that would be awesome. I just don’t like the clutter that is created. I don’t fine myself wanting to delete anything storing the items would be a nice option.

From first sight this game looks great. Its a merge of match 3, a merge 3 and a cool story line . What drives me crazy with this game is there is no storage and once you fill up your very small land piece, thats it. Well there is a „recycle” option where you can turn a building ot item into runes but it costs almost a 1,000 diamonds. To buy a new plot of land it’s almost 30,000 diamonds, which you recive 20-30 at most at a time. A little frustrating. Especially that once you win a level and get things that should be place on your land they automaticly populate weather you want them or not.

Leveles were challenging and I enjoyed playing them but it seemes like I was playing for nothing.

Ok so I saw the ad w the girls saying make moves and take my clothes off. Def not appropriate for a kids game. The game play was fun and the story about defeating Douglas was enjoyable. Needing more and more stars to unlock levels is getting annoying but eh.

The escalating diamond cost for five additional moves 900 then 1900 then 2900 is terrible. Some levels are so impossible that you can’t win unless you have an unlimited lives clock because 5 lives are spent easy.

Biggest complaint is can’t log in to game server since Friday. No information posted. Very frustrating. I want to keep playing but beginning to agree with the 1 star reviews.

Seriously.. what a FUN game! There’s so much to do in the game at any given time.. and the best part is... YA DON’T NEED REAL MONEY!! (Sure, ya CAN use it if ya wanna, but ya don’t HAFTA. To me, that’s a big part!!) The ONLY thing I would change if I could would be to have MORE ROOM to put buildings. Other than that... it’s a super fun and addicting game! 5/5 👍👍’s up!!

It’s still really fun.. but I went down 2 stars because when I start the game, it tells me that I need to update .. so I come to Townest Store and there’s no update!!?!?😒🤔 so I click on OPEN which does NOTHING and I can’t advance. There’s no way to get ahold of anyone either.. stars WILL keep going down as the time goes by that I can’t play! I really DO love the game.. but I’m not gonna play the run around...

I really want to give this game all five stars because I love this game game but I have done everything that u said to do n it still keeps happening it shows an offline message right when I am supposed to get n item from the book or some diamonds then I don't get them I am getting kicked off. I do all that work and I don't get the star I have to repeat the level again n of course what I already said. I am about ready too delete this game and be done with it. 😡😡😡

Ok I am going nuts there r constant glitches that continue it is so irritating. Now u can’t get the sound of the fireworks from the diamonds u just won to stop. The constant errors n glitches is crazy n pisses me off because it causes me stars n diamonds sometimes or book globes. You just need to fix them because I really enjoy playing this game. 😡😡

I’m an addict to this game. Daily player, I love the storyline, love the game levels and love the merge buildings part. BUT why oh why are there so many issues when there is an update?? I lost levels and stars last time. This time I lost 3 level 4 buildings - that’s a lot of merging!! It’s like I’m being penalized for being so far in the game so newer players can have a better chance. NOT FAIR. I’ve spent way too much $$ on this game to give up but if this keeps happening I will need to give it up.

I don’t normally write reviews on games, but this is really bugging me. I downloaded it after seeing the ad in another game, and I’ve been enjoying it. There’s nothing super special about the game, but I like the match 3/merge combination of the game. I’ve recently reached level 441 and there seems legitimately no way to pass it. The criteria to pass the level is to collect 6 flowers and 9 pictures. I have no problem uncovering the 9 pictures, however only TWO flower seeds drop which makes it completely unable to collect SIX flowers. Unless someone can tell me the secret to passing this level, I’m done with the game. It was fun while it lasted.

Rarely do I write a review, but I felt compelled to this time. I really enjoy this game and have a lot of fun however, there are 2 MAJOR flaws that completely detract for the game. As far as I am aware, there is no way to place things on your map into storage. As such, I can’t make room to place things next to each other in order to merge them. This leads to my second complaint: no way to merge without things being next to each other. Now, I understand that in most games like this, you need to place things next to each other. Given the previous complaint, a button of some sort to allow us to merge things from a distance would make it easier. If either of these options were rolled out, this would be a 5 star game. Unfortunately, I have reached a point where it is becoming annoying.

Don’t get me wrong I have been playing this game for awhile and I like it, jet I’m stuck. I’m at level 905 and I have 15 stars and I’m continue to move forward, but I’m unable to complete mission’s, it keeps telling me that I need to have patience and to check out the FB page. I’ve done the upgrade, deleted the game and reinstalled it, but I’m getting nowhere, I’ve spend lots of $$$ to play and I don’t want to start over. It’s getting me frustrated.

So an upgrade happened and now I’m already stuck again, you need to let people move forward faster, if I’m constantly catching up with you then I’m not going to play this game anymore.

After a couple of upgrades the game has improved considerably.

This game is sooo much fun! I even downloaded it on my hubby’s phone!! (That way, when I hafts charge my phone after playing it, I can KEEP PLAYING on his phone!!) it’s got so many different things going on - it’s IMPOSSIBLE to get bored!! Great job developers!! Ya nailed it with this one! The ONLY complaint I have is that to buy anything with real money (which this is the FIRST GAME EVER that I’ve spent REAL money on btw!) is pretty steep I think for what cha get... ya really should make it cheaper.. I know I myself would buy more stuff if it were a better price!!
