Headbands: Charades Party Game Reviews

I love Headbands its hard to accidentally pass a word unlike another app i tried out. There are a few free packs to start and you can easily earn coins to make a custom pack. This is a four star because I wish there were more free packs. Its very easy to play with family. I have a road trip coming in like 3 days and this will be so fun to play during the car-ride. Im really excited to have this instead of bringing a box for heads up. I only got Headbands because heads up cost money but I'm glad i did get this one.

This game is so fun to play. You can create your own categories or you can do one of the ones provided. Majority of the topics require payment but the ones that don’t are a blast!
I created my own category for a girls night and I don’t think I’ve ever laughed harder. Would definitely recommend getting. ITS FREE!

I honestly think that this is one of those games where you just have a lot of fun and getting to
spend some quality time with your friends and family while laughing so thank you so much for your wonderful app 👩🏽👩🏾‍🦱💟

It’s hard to read the prompt from just six or seven feet away. I’ve got pretty good vision, but it took some squinting to see the words. Then the guesser keeps turning to look at different people, so it’s even harder to make out the words at an angle.

My suggestion would be to increase the font size by a lot. Half or most of the screen should be made up of the word. And pick a better contrasting color.

We have been using this regularly with our 7 and 8 yr old whenever we encounter a wait. We figure it’s a step up from just having them watch videos.

I am a teacher and I love that I can use this at home and the classroom. Best of all I can create decks for my class without having to pay for each new deck for each category. Thank you!

When I got the games I thought it was okay but when I played with my family we all loved it and we will continue playing it and so get this game and I guaranteed that you will love it.

This game is really fun and interesting. It’s fun to play with friends and family. Also this game is good to play when you are in a long line.

It has no good features but it uses old time people and doesn’t use good timing at the end WHY I LOVE IT.. it has good categories like food and animals but doesn’t use hard charades but I love it😍

Good selection. I like that you can make your own decks and also combine decks. Plus the video review is a lot of fun.

I like that there is a good amount of fun categories to do even without buying. Much better than some other ones! Thanks!

The functionality is perfect, and the word decks are large and varied. Love this game for small groups or via zoom.

Played with friends. Repeated a very limited pool of words (<20) each time we played despite selecting all available categories. Just pay the $2 for the other versions.

This game is great for all ages and gets everyone involved.

We were waiting for our next event at a function, but there was a party in front of us that wouldn’t move on. The planner handed us her phone and the 15 or so of us were so entertained we kept playing and let the next group go in front of us so we could keep playing. We all downloaded Headbands that night.

Every time I finish a game it asks me to rate it. I also had to pay for different categories which I feel like no one would play if they had to play.

Similar games are better and it is not clear how to cancel this subscription nor have I got a response from emailing them so cannot even be sure it won’t continue to charge me. I DO NOT WANT TO USE OR PAY FOR Headbands!!! App designers need to make this process easier.

I was playing this with my little brother, and it had very limited free categories to choose from. Some of the other categories he wanted to play cost money. So it would be nice to have more free ones.

There are so many things that need you to pay, on the other apps like this it’s money. people just want a nice cool game to play with their friends.

i love love love the game but please help idk how to get the videos to work. i turned it on and it does show a picture of the video but i cant click it. help plsss

Not only can you play offline, it records, picks up when you say the correct answer, and allows you to create your own categories. I see a lot of reviews complaining about some of the categories costing money but thats how people make a living. They give you 10 free categories ranging from animals to colors. (Way better then competitors that only give you 5 or so) Super fun and a great way to bond with family and friends. I even played it with some strangers while waiting in line for a concert. :)

This game is exquisitely enjoyable beyond all human comprehension. When I play this game, I feel like I was born into a family of extended royalty. I have given this absolute domination of a game 5 stars, but only as a result that I could not expand the rating bar to a number of stars that could only be described as a googolplex. Playing this game has given me delicious and nutritious gas, the smell of which can be likened to freshly-picked strawberries on a fine summer day.

It’s a great app that helps u play fun games and if ur going to some trips u could play it with friends and stuff. I really enjoy Headbands.

We are at Disney and it is the best game to play in lines the only big thing I hate is that you have to have premium for the good games. Would recommend to people who don’t care if they have 10 categories.

To anybody who isn’t sure if they want this game, get it! My family has had so much fun playing this game. Even if you don’t want it, give it a try! 10/10 would recommend.

If you go to Disney then you definitely should get Headbands and play it in the long lines. It helped a lot when there where long lines

This game is ok, I just use it for waiting in line at theme parks, the only problem though, is most of the categories you have to pay for, I understand a few categories, but like 90% costs money and so for broke people like me, it takes out a lot of the fun, if you plan on playing this regularly but don’t want to pay money, don’t bother because you’ll get bored quick. It’s fun as an every once in a while, but is not gonna be a regular game for me

I wish that you didn’t have to pay for different categories Headbands only gave me 10 categories and I wish that they would make it free because there are so many great categories

When I accidentally paid for the subscription I forgot to cancel, I emailed the created and he not only got back to me within minutes but was very polite. I pretty much only tried the free trial version since I don’t get many opportunities to use it but the game is fun! Definitely came in clutch when things were slowing down at a gathering.

I’ve loved playing Headbands with friends and family. The biggest problem is the available categories. There’s only a few options that are free. Also, it’d be great if you could add an easy version for kids(omitting obscure questions) and also maybe longer time limits. Thanks for reading y’all. I never no how to end these….. bye I guess

Headbands was sigma at first but then it glitched idk why. At the end of the game it like freezes on the last word and doesn’t show us the score. Also the game says something about earning coins? Pretty sure that glitched too because I have not earned a single coin after playing probs about 12 times. Homies save your storage space in this one it’s not worth it unless these rizzlords that own this game decide to fix the only Ohio part about it.

Why do we have to play in the free ones? But thr other ones we have to pay for??? I dont wanna pay for it i wanna do different challenges not the sames ones.

I love the game it’s super fun to play with friends and it’s awesome that you can create your own categories. I love the option for voice control and video recording. Even though the game is fun and amazing one problem I have with it is that you can’t unlock categories. If your looking for a certain genre you have to create it and earning coins can be a pain. The more categories the more coins but I love the option for creating categories I use it all the time. This game is awesome and super fun.

This is the best game ever whenever I’m trying to tell something it doesn’t for me and I get every answer crack first I got 75 and then I got lower to 61. This is definitely a four star. it’s very very awesome. We can play with your mom to play with your family your sister, your brother, your siblings. Your cousins can even play on yourself. Well, you actually need two people to play the best game ever. It’s only for four years old, 5years old 6 old 7 years old they’re actually for everyone, but you have to get two people. You can just play with one people.

I like this implementation of the game similar to the more expensive Headsup, in particular, where you can create custom categories with the earned coins. I would suggest allowing editing of the custom category title when editing a category. I created a test category and couldn’t change the category name afterwards. Other than that, great game overall.
