Keeps going in circles. Can’t get the flash cards working because it says to add a category. Can’t add a category because add is not one of the options given!

Once you sign up, there is no way to cancel it.

What good is LearnGermanwithFlashcards , if you cant have a memorization styled learning you show both words together then have a cheap play button to hear it there is no memorization involved because you can always see the translation

I was gonna give this three stars, because I find it frustrating - you have not actually learned a word if you can repeat its meaning when you see that word just 20 seconds later.

And even if you tell it to add 50 new words, to try and spread them out, you’ll just see the same few over and over. In the end I just said I know a bunch of the words that I’ve seen a ton of times so I can get new words. Pretty frustrating and not sure I’ll continue using it.

But then I lowered it to two stars when I realized that tapping on the “Rate” button appears to automatically give it a five-star rating, rather than taking you here to actually rate it.

I bought this in two different languages and I see the same structural problems in both.

Keeps telling me to turn volume up to hear. Volume is up. Please fix this glitch so I can hear pronunciation!

It is very good except that it doesn’t recognize umlauted german characters when I write them using a pen/stylus. I have to switch to keyboard before words with umlaut are inputted. Nevertheless, it is very helpful. Thank you!

Developer, is there a way to make LearnGermanwithFlashcards recognize umlauted german letters when I write using stylus? Please help. Also, can I use LearnGermanwithFlashcards with the same contents on another device? I hope it would be possible. Thanks

Great app overall. But one glaring omission seems to be — unless I’m just missing it somehow — that verbs should come with some way of memorizing conjugations in various tenses. They do provide example sentences but that’s usually not enough. And for regular verbs, you may be able to figure out the conjugations on your own, but that’s not always the case and it’s not the case for irregular verbs. There should be some way to practice conjugating verbs in the present, präteritum, indirekte, and imperativ forms. Again, apologies if there is and I missed it.

Also, it would be very helpful if I could mix it up and see a German word and translate it into English, instead of always being the other way around.

I really like this game but I want to learn more words in a day without a limit and to not have a limit you have to use money. Other than that I would highly recommend this game to people who are learning German. Auf Wiedersehen

A versatile app that allows you to add your own German vocabulary in addition to all the preloaded words. I especially like that it provides pronunciations, as well as the definite articles for nouns. The one thing that would make it better is if they added a category for verb conjugations.

I have downloaded and tried dozens of apps in my pursuit of learning German, and have deleted most, to say that LearnGermanwithFlashcards is underrated is a complete understatement. This should definitely be a top-five German learning app and supplementary to any German language goals!

Really love using LearnGermanwithFlashcards to help with German vocabulary. I use it every day. The way it’s set up with being flexible to pass or skip and assume you know what you’re doing really makes it great for me as a casual learner.

The best app for learning words via flash cards. It has a large number of flash card categories and each word has good pronunciation as well as a lot of examples how this word is used.
