Audio Converter - Extract MP3 Reviews

This is a great solution when used in conjunction with iPhone screen recorder. I have been using this to do sentence mining for learning Mandarin. Basically I record what I want using iPhone screen record then import the video into AudioConverter , convert it to mp3 and share it using the Wi-Fi transfer feature. Then I can open mp3 in Audacity on my PC and edit away. It’s will worth the $1.99 to remove the ads; however, I did encounter a couple of issues so I’m giving four stars.

1) Initially I was not able to transfer the converted mp3s using the Wi-Fi transfer feature (only the videos appeared). The workaround is to create a new folder and move the mp3s into that folder, then they appear on the pc.

2) If you import a new video from cameras roll and then come back a few minutes later and try to import another new video, AudioConverter does not give you the option to select new videos from camera roll. The workaround is to hard close AudioConverter and reopen it, then when you click the + to add videos it will once again give you the option to select videos from camera roll.

Works perfectly for me. I didn’t want to turn on my PC to use VLC to extract the audio from a Midnight Diner episode so I could study the dialog (Japanese). Found AudioConverter. Worked perfectly. The mp4 of the episode is on a NAS. I did an “Open in…” and chose AudioConvert. Loaded fine. Extracted the audio. Imported the audio to Anytune Pro where I can loop selected portions for language learning.

AudioConverter fits my learning style just fine!

All I can say is EXCELLENT work creating AudioConverter Huamei Xi. It’s affordable, simple, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. No subscription which is why I bought it. It can’t get better than this. I’ve been using it for months and not a single issue. I’ve converted all types of media with AudioConverter and I’m pleased beyond belief. Huamei Xi, please create this same app for Mac too! Please. Thank you for this great app!

I have personally purchased pro features, which make the interface easier to operate. But, even without the purchase AudioConverter stands greatly on its own, even freely. There are many options, and AudioConverter is incredibly easy to utilize, simplistic, visually appealing interface, and about all you’d want for an audio converter.

I had some videos where I needed to extract the audio. AudioConverter was free, so I was expecting some kind of problem or an annoying paywall. I was shocked to see that AudioConverter was able to perform all of the tasks without an issue. All I had to do was watch a few ads. I am definitely keeping AudioConverter for future use.

AudioConverter does everything I wanted to convert videos converts my iTunes songs to MP3. It allows you to send in the area so apps like my ringtone maker app. It also says in my iMessage app. I’ve tried several other ones but this is the best so far! And you can save everything to various acts like Google Drive! It’s worth the $.99 to go to the pro version.

I’ve been searching hours for an MP3 audio converter app that is actually good, and I think I’ve struck gold. This does its job perfectly. Even though there is a lot of ads, it’s completely worth it to actually get to convert the audio. Highly recommend.

Not only does AudioConverter provide all the basic features but it also gives you the option to choose your own VOLUME and BIT RATE… Two important features that other competing audio converter apps lack. Must download!

Just gonna cut to the chase, it’s the only one I found that actually works like it’s supposed to, it’s basic features are free, and as far as I can tell it doesn’t have a limit on the number of free conversions like every other app.

It’s simple, but with ample amount of options. I am someone who does not have much idea about different audio formats. And I still found this to be easy to use. I am glad I found AudioConverter. Thanks developers team..

I spent 3 hours trying to find an app to convert my voice memo file in m4a format to mp3. After downloading many apps, THIS ONE WORKED!! Now I can send my email with the needed mp3 file attached...YAY. I am not an iPad or Apple user so the fact that I could work this says something lol

I love love AudioConverter so so so much,I can download any video from youtube,I just think it would be better if it had a repeat button for music but that's just my opinion,other than It's awesome...I already have pro and loving it...It's worth the $0.99 price trust me!!

I'm used many trips of apps like this and most of them where very difficult to figer out Im just going to say it's super easy great job!

I would call it great but, I can’t play the audio file to see where it starts when I trim it down! I call that a major thing to work on for an update👍🏽. Then AudioConverter will be Very useful to me!

AudioConverter does several things really well. Fast conversions and exporting are 5 star worthy. The player is excellent. Audio quality is significantly better than most players. 5 stars as well.

The not so well...too many ads. And all too often, it has to be re-accessed, because for some unknown reason, it disappears.

The worst feature is the reason I tried AudioConverter in the first place. Extracting select tracks from an album that is all one large MP3 or MP4 file.

Adjusting the buttons to the start/end time when trying to get the precise beginning and ending of a track is very difficult.

I won’t use AudioConverter a great deal, but for the speed of conversion and exporting, I’ll keep it.

There’s other apps that extract tracks, but they too are tricky. Audacity does it pretty well. However, there are too many steps and it doesn’t export as MP3.

It would be nice and probably worth a reasonable purchase price for a way to simply enter START and END (minutes/seconds) parameters.

Powerful video converter, audio extractor and converter in OGG format! Import / export functions, rename and change file extension. Great! Congratulations to all the team involved.

Nice free way to extra audio from videos

Great app even paid for pro version but needs a shuffle option and a repeat option and then will deserve 5 stars but for now 2 stars for forgetting something this basic.

This takes it time and it is really slow so.

I’ve been trying to find one of these apps forever. I thought this one might be the one, but no, as soon as I clicked the “+” button my screen turned black and restarted.

Clear audio and processes quickly.

This is a mess, two overlapping screens that are unreadable, an ad at the bottom for pandora covers screen, cannot be deleted. There’s part of an option visible which tells how to have payment refunded, but cannot be accessed.
