Angle Meter 360 Reviews

I cannot get AngleMeter360 to work properly for me. I took a picture of a corner wall in my house. One wall should be at a 90 degree angle to the other. I placed the center dot at the corner and the other two dots on opposite walls. The three dots are lined up on a parallel line.

Instead of giving me the expected 90 degrees it says it is approximately 200 degrees.

I found no source of help within AngleMeter360 so I am writing here. If I am doing something wrong, let me know and I will change the rating.

The ads are intolerable. They go on for 30 seconds and are designed so that you can’t figure out how to exit them. Not worth the slightly better features AngleMeter360 has.

AngleMeter360 works fine once you figure out how to use it. Upon installing, there is no tutorial and no help feature. Also, you cannot access the “Saved Documents” later on. Why do you even have the option to save as a document of you cannot access it, only the photos?! I have lost everything that I have saved from the roofing job I just did 9 hours away! If this feature was accessible, I’d give it a higher rating, but my rating stands for now.

After toiling with the ads, I finally figured out you can pay to remove ads. I recommend advertising this to the user. I would have done this much sooner if it were more obvious to me.

App works well but I’ve paid for NO-ADS multiple times and they are still there...have tried restoring as well to no avail

Excellent app but first use wine easier with instructions or labels. I use routinely and fine very useful.

Easy to use, but I need to start with a vertical line. There’s no way to be sure I’m exactly vertical. So I’m guessing. That part is hard.

Need to allow for the font of the angle to be in a thicker font. I use this against an actual photo that has different gradient color and I can’t read the font of the angle because it is too small and too faint. It would be nice to manipulate font of angle reading

Being about to set multiple angles is great. Being able to move the angles to fit the picture is great. It's simple and it works. I have a few suggestions to improve accuracy. Have an option to offset the pointer above where the finger press is on the screen. It's hard to line up a point with some precision when the view is blocked by my finger. The see-through angle points do help though. Have a level indicator for how the device is tilted. If I'm trying to measure the angle of something on a flat and level table, then holding the phone level above the table is important for getting an accurate angle measurement. Then take the style and usefulness of AngleMeter360 and put it into another app for measuring distance. I can't find one that will let me take a picture of something with a distance reference in the shot (like a small ruler out even a quarter), then use that reference to calibrate the measurement scale so I can draw lines to measure one or multiple other things in the photo. PS: I know that the camera FOV distorts the image, but hopefully that can be compensated for.

Update: The developer responded and said to use the "Loupe" feature in the settings. I didn't see or know what it was before, but it puts a small magnification window in the corner for precision placement of points and it works well and probably better than my previous suggestion! Thanks!

I don’t write reviews, but this thing rocks!! I’m sure they are better, more practical uses, but AngleMeter360 enables me to measure the loft and lie angle of my golf clubs perfectly. 💥🤩👍

Would be great if you can add a feature that measure height between two objects in the same image were angle is being measured.

This is an easy to use and reliable app that allows reasonable precision in checking angles on parts and assemblies from stored photos. Well done.

I’m really enjoying AngleMeter360. I really enjoy the 4 point capability where objects don’t meet. However the video overview plays way too fast. The documentation is a bit lacking so an area for improvement.

Be sure to license the full version immediately after downloading AngleMeter360 ! The ad-supported free version is frustrating to use.

This is currently saving me in my math class, lol. It’s super simple, just snap a shot of something and you can draw out what the angles are...You can zoom in too for more accuracy. Ads aren’t too much of a problem, and just appear every few button clicks. App is intuitive, simple, and easy to use. I highly recommend a download!

This is the good app for measuring angle from photo. Multiple angles can be measured in one photo. The color of each angle can be changed. The initial and the end point can be defined freely. The photo with measured angles can be saved to the phone. This is almost perfect app. I already purchased and hope the developer will improve and add some useful features as the followings (it will be useful for general user and dental student/dentist/orthodontist)

Main:
1. Add note/name for each angle measurement
2. Save default for last time setting (size of point, thickness)
3. Measurement of two lines (two lines having intersection outside the screen cannot be measured by three-points angle)

I tried 5 other protractor apps before this one. It’s like they’re all just copy and pasted. This one doesn’t charge just to use the basic functions of it. You can pay for ad free, but the ads aren’t giant pop ups every five seconds or anything, just slivers at the bottom of the screen. Very useful and would recommend over all the others.

Great but maybe make a cross air on the points so you can get it exactly on point
