I was told about the guide last year, a friend lent it to me and it did help me put eyes on a very nice mature buck, hoping it will help me seal the deal this year. I think DeerHuntersMoonGuide is merely the progression of the guide(what doesn’t have an app?), and I think possessing both is advantageous. Great value allowing access for free to those whom bought the guide wheel. Looking forward to seeing what it’s all about.

The moon guide is tremendously accurate! I do not know if it is this way across the country but here in Northern Illinois, during the 2019 rut and deer season, it was spot on! When time is of the essence and life demands a majority of your time, you need to get the moon guide to maximize your days hunting! It is that good and a must have!

I live in northern Michigan and do not have access to world class deer hunting in my home state. I was lucky enough to get an invite to head down to Ohio this year and I chose to plan the timing of my trip around the moon guide. It did not disappoint. With only two days to spend in the woods I wanted to ensure my hours in the stand were spent at a time maximizing my chances of catching an Ohio bruiser in transit. Within the first few minutes of daylight the first morning I knew I was in for a good weekend. Mature bucks were on their feet in daylight and after passing many good bucks I killed the biggest buck of my life on a red moon day the final night. I’ve been using the MoonGuide for several years now and can honestly say it has helped me get on multiple mature bucks. It will not magically help you kill a booner but if you are hunting a certain deer and do your homework and hunt him under the right conditions and use the moon to your favor, your odds will drastically go up. Many guys don’t understand how the MoonGuide works. It has nothing to do with the actual moon phase. Try it out and compare your trail cam pics to the MoonGuide calendar and you’ll see for yourself.

I have used the paper Moon dial four years but DeerHuntersMoonGuide is super handy. I Try to plan all my hunts and Stand time around the red moon. The detail is amazing. Not only does the MoonGuide suggest prime days to hunt, it breaks down types of movement whether it’s needing, transition or fields. If you aren’t paying attention to red moon and peak times to hunt, you are missing out.
