BezzyBreastCancer is super glitchy. I ran into a lot of problems trying to set up my profile and navigate the posts and posting my own thoughts. Some of my trouble may have been user error, my brain has been mush since I started treatment, but when I reached out to tech support for help, there were a lot of words with no follow through. In fact, the gal helping me disappeared in the middle of our exchange without a word and without fixing my problem. I hope she’s okay. I totally understand that life happens (boy do I!) but it’s been three days and no one else who runs BezzyBreastCancer has taken her place to finish what she started. I’m deleting my account. I’ve got too much on my plate as it is without using this much energy to find a little support while I fight breast cancer. Deeply uncool.

BezzyBreastCancer has ready made “check the box” answers for some very private experiences. Matches you up almost “one on one” with other members. Very uncomfortable. I was hoping for more of a Facebook type thread- where you just chime in and share as you go along. BezzyBreastCancer is not for me!

The content is good. The community is excellent. BUT there is no viable way to reset a password. The link they provide does NOT work on any platform. So with no way to continue to participate in this resource it gets a 1 star review from me. In addition, there is no way to get in touch with them. Just a phone number no one listens to.

Every time I logged in, it was difficult to figure where I was the last time. I’ve seen other reviews saying that it would be nice if it had more of a Facebook interface. Also I would get a notification that some one had commented on MY comment—but finding it was almost impossible. This could be a great app if it were easier to navigate.

I created a profile on BezzyBreastCancer right after it launched, so I was able to get a username I wanted (which was just my first name). When I went to log in just now, it informed me that I needed to select a different username because mine was now taken by someone else. How does that make any sense? I’m also not a fan of the chat format. It makes it difficult to look up previous info or follow along if you’re not in the chat live. There is good info in some of the articles though.

I’m new to Healthline. I received a message from someone in the community, and when I went to reply, I was limited to 280 characters. I found this disappointing, because when trying to introduce myself to someone for the first time, I didn’t feel that 280 characters were sufficient. Perhaps as I navigate my way around the community, I will find better ways to communicate with other women living with cancer. Thank you for this opportunity to voice my opinion.

I recently joined this group and have received some nice support from women going through my same circumstances. I would give this a higher rating except for I am pretty frustrated with the difficulty following the string of conversations because they do not, like on Facebook, attach a comment right below a comment. The comment strings get so jumbled up. It is hard to follow. Still I enjoy the support and the shared experiences and tips.

This group was useful at first when I was diagnosed. It gave helpful advise and support from real women experiencing the pain, stress, and much of the same suffering as I was and am. Then it became about who has suffered more losses and counter productive. It also becomes depressing to constantly see the many new women daily diagnosed with breast cancer. Thank you for the support, but I am moving on.

After several failed attempts to connect with someone, I communicated with someone regularly only to find out weeks later that we had practically grown up next door to each other even though she was now 3,000 miles away. That sense of connection was wonderful and boosted me up when I was at my lowest! If at first you don’t connect just keep trying. When you do it is so worth it!
