TurnUp itself shows a lot of potential. I honestly enjoyed picking a lot of different songs that I enjoyed in life to represent myself. The only problem is that TurnUp is still new. Not many people in my area at all. Legit 2. But the dating app itself isn’t filled with Bots yet so that’s also a plus. I would honestly recommend this to anyone, but realize it is still new and may take some time before it’s populated. If you just create and account and never delete it, your probably killing TurnUp’s potential, so at least try to let your account stay alive a little so actual people can get matches or just delete your account instead of letting it rot.

App has potential. An issue I find with it is that the songs it suggests, when choosing your own or trying to do a blind test, are all main stream and takes forever to find the correct artist if it isn’t mainstream. Maybe needs an artist search option on both to better find the tracks you’re looking for.

Very cool concept but it’s telling me I’ve seen everyone in a 800 miles radius. But there’s 3 people that liked me and obviously isn’t true because I’ve swiped through them all. Seems like there’s lots of bugs to fix. Songs to update so they can get played on profiles. Swiping and a new person not coming up. Lots of stuff. The entire concept of TurnUp is very awesome though and hopefully these things get fixed. But when I’ve swiped through everyone in a 800 mile radius and there’s people that I can’t see that liked me, doesn’t seem genuine and they just want me to spend money on the premium app. Who knows though, maybe it’s a bug.

I never write reviews, but I really wanted to after using TurnUp.

The concept is very simple and straight forward, but the format of TurnUp is incredibly refreshing! The blind test adds an aspect that I can’t imagine any other dating app has, and it give you something else to do other than just swiping left or right.

There are a few glitchy moments sometimes with drop down menus not readjusting as they populate with search results, and of course there are only a few people using it, but I hope this takes off!

I have swiped right/sent likes, but I can tell from the blurred out Likes I’ve received that these people haven’t appeared in the swipe feed. This is despite the fact that I’ve run out of profiles to swipe on (i.e. I have 0 profiles left to swip on despot having outstanding likes of profiles I’ve never seen). I get TurnUp is probably still in an early stage, but the high price tag and impossibility of “naturally” seeing these likes via the swipe feed is frustrating. That said, still giving 2 stars because the premise of TurnUp is something I’ve wanted for a long time.

TurnUp has been out for nearly a year and I haven’t noticed any improvement. Maybe it’s a lack of users? The problem with Turn Up is that it’s functioning on the same principles as the mega app, Tinder, despite being an underdog. I mean specifically, you get no real assistance to meet or gain matches unless you pay for the premium which is ridiculous when users provided for you are so variable in distance from you as well as age difference. These are people on that app that like good music, sure, but good luck actually meeting anybody unless you cough up your dollars.

Literally the within the first 5 seconds of downloading i was already experiencing bugs. I can’t even make an account because apparently it just doesn’t work right now. Every time i try to select my gender the screen goes white and no matter what i do every time i reopen TurnUp it takes me to the same place. It’s pretty much broken for me now since there isn’t even a go back button on TurnUp . I can’t even uninstall because they thought it’d be a great idea to just save all the previous info so i’m stuck on the account creation screen ,now making it impossible for me to ever make an account.

I enjoyed making my profile for TurnUp, and I love the concept. I noticed one issue though, disappearing messages. I have received notifications that I’ve gotten a message, and when I click it, it opens TurnUp and says I haven’t received any messages. Not sure if this is a known issue, but I’m hoping it’s addressed soon before TurnUp gets popular and more people have this issue.

I tried using TurnUp, found a few people and it was working really well and decided to get a subscription. I paid the normal subscription and it work for a few days and now every time I try to get into TurnUp it takes me back a few steps in making my account and then start showing things in Spanish and then says I can’t make my account. Honestly would very much like either a refund of my subscription or my account fixed.

Honestly this one of the least buggy dating apps out here. It’s not full of scammers or bots either.
It’s really functional and intuitive but it doesn’t have a huge user base yet. Hopefully that changes because it really is an awesome app.

I had TurnUp for a while and I got a notification saying I got a like from someone and when I went to check it it logged me out and now I can't sign back in

Music + Romance = Matches

If your a music nut looking for love, give it a shot. Would prefer to browse singles before signing up. Ultimately there are many metrics of compatibility, music plays a central role in my life. So, I skip the “big name” / pre established dating apps. This was what I was looking for.

I haven’t found any long-term matches but I’ve met a lot of really great people and I haven’t had any issues with scam artists or bad it’s a pretty good middle of the road experience nothing to complain about

I never thought of an app where you date people from the type of music you like. I like that app and it works.

Popularity is better then before as well. Has some great features, would recommend
