Piano Sheet Music Composer Reviews

This is a great idea but the features don’t function clearly. There is an undo button, but in order to change something earlier in the piece you have to delete everything back to that point. Once you close and re-open a score you cannot make changes. Ads constantly interrupt with the free version. Great idea but too painful to use.

I downloaded PianoSheetMusicComposer and had to pay $10 to be able to change the time signature, only to discover how unintuitive it is when I actually started writing some music. I can’t even figure out how to erase a single note! You would think the eraser button would do that, but it seems to have no effect. And how do I make a dotted quarter note? That’s clear as mud.

Is there documentation in PianoSheetMusicComposer or anywhere? Not that I can find.

Don’t get PianoSheetMusicComposer. Get something else.

Although it appears to be able to creat a full score, many of features are unexplained for how to use and there is no explanation or manual in any where. App support link does not work. Help link also does not work. Also, what is the difference between a similar app “Music +-score creator” and PianoSheetMusicComposer? You have to purchase it first, and there is no upgrade option, if the other one has more functions. PianoSheetMusicComposer creator MUST provide help manual or instructions.

I DO NOT recommend getting PianoSheetMusicComposer. It’s TERRIBLE. 👎🏾 I can NOT make a score without sound, yet I can make a score, but not the score I WANT to. PianoSheetMusicComposer is just too simple! Also, what’s with the crazy amount of ads?! I FOR ONE, LOATHE ADS! When I go into PianoSheetMusicComposer (seldomly), there is an ad. When I exit a music score, there is an AD. COME ON!!! 😡😡😡😡😡 This also happens; if I enter PianoSheetMusicComposer and I end up in the My Scores page, there is this offer... and it happens EVERY TIME! 😒😡 PianoSheetMusicComposer is also very colorless and bland. Where is the color? I personally recommend using an app called Flat by Tutteo Limited. It has everything I need to make a great score.

I am not a perfectionist, but to understand a product there needs to be a methodology, that is obvious, with which it was designed. This is very simple. It’s a piano. That’s it. You can do low notes, but there is no ability to add a bass clef. This is the kind of app you get when you have a developer that uses his own app and because he made it he knows how to accomplish what he wants to accomplish he leaves the rest of us in the dark.

Using PianoSheetMusicComposer is very difficult when trying to edit a piece you’ve already created. I also had done the free trial of the prescription and it didn’t add much to what was already there for $6.99/week, which was disappointing. I accidentally didn’t cancel the subscription, so I was charged last night and I’m currently trying to see if I could get a refund since it’s only been 12 hours since they charged me for it and since I haven’t even been using it since I first accidentally subscribed, but I have found it very difficult to contact anyone about it. Overall, I’m not impressed in anyway with PianoSheetMusicComposer or developer. If you do purchase PianoSheetMusicComposer , just don’t subscribe to get the “premium” version, since it doesn’t add much to PianoSheetMusicComposer or make it any easier to use.

I gave PianoSheetMusicComposer a try to see if I could use it to notate some riffs for songs my band is learning. It’s nice to have a virtual piano keyboard to enter notes, but it doesn’t record rhythm, and once you capture a note it seems impossible to edit the type of note, or erase a section of the score to try again. I found it pretty frustrating to use. Seeing annoying, irrelevant ads and frequent requests to subscribe worsen the experience. I’ll stick to using my keyboard connected to a real notation program via midi...

The sounds of the instruments are kind of cheesy and not great. I haven’t found a how to that explains everything. Why are some notes bold and some not bold? How do I change that? Why doesn’t some of the instruments work on the tablature? Many questions. I know a lot of work went into this. I hope many updates come because I think I paid too much.

Memberships are the rave but it doesn’t suit PianoSheetMusicComposer. I believe overall profits would multiply if all instruments could be unlocked with a minimal one time purchase & there was an option to unlock an instrument for one project via an ad.
Aside from pricing, being able to write notes, playback & edit is something I can not take for granted.

After reading at least a dozen descriptions from piano score creator apps, I decided to try this one. I liked the idea of being able to ‘drive it around the block’ for a week b4 making a purchase. I downloaded but then discovered that it only shows the treble clef. When writing for piano, it’s customary to write on treble & bass staves simultaneously.

Then I noticed that it was $6.99/wk. I deal w/ flat rates. Charge me a little more than the others, if the product is worth it. But a weekly fee? At the end of 3 months, that fee totals $90! Almost $300 per year! Obviously some folks are living a lot more ‘largely’ than I am...

I use it and I like it. Few notes, there is a problem with sometimes the instruments do not playback as their designated instrument and I wish the it had an easy lyric writing feature. Other than that, it ain’t too chabby. ;) Totally recommend.

It’s a good app but could someone tell me how I can get the music sheet from app since I need to print my works?

I like it. It gives me the tools to write my own song. What isn’t cool is they kinda bribed me to get a different background. Rate 5 stars or you have to keep with a white background. So that was a little interesting. But overall, I like it.

I absolutely love PianoSheetMusicComposer! I am using it to write my song I also use it your other app notation pad I love them both they’re amazing apps. And this is weird but the first song I started at writing what is inspired by the sound a printer makes. But my one question is, like notation pad there were two bars how do you get those two bars for left-hand and right hand on PianoSheetMusicComposer? Please answer it would make my day.

Here’s something bad about it. The problem is you only want money every single App you Just want money I don’t have all the apps where is the good stuff? You actually get high Notes and you go highYou get so high notes it doesn’t even play sound for me and very low so it does not sound like a piano i’m not a bad one is how do you get it on to music reader.

PianoSheetMusicComposer is awesome and quite easy to use! I have limited music transcription experience and play keyboards by ear. I have been songwriting for 49 years and depended on friends to transcribe my original compositions. Now I can do it myself. Fun too with PianoSheetMusicComposer!

I tried to delete notes and I cant. I also want to play with my real piano but I cant either.

I love PianoSheetMusicComposer. It allows me to add arrangements on the fly. If I’m feeling creative I can easily open Piano Plus and jot down ideas before they disappear from my mind. Great app!

I like getting down my ideas before I go to Muscescore to put the full thing down and PianoSheetMusicComposer meets my needs for that perfectly

All of you who say, “The eraser button doesn’t work” well it does. It works to erase DYNAMICS. You know, pianississimo, pianissimo, piano, mesopiano, mesoforte, forte, and fortissimo fortississimo. To erase notes, just use the “undo button”

I use this for music that would take forever to make on notation pad, and i can make music quicker.
