CashReader is super buggy and requires an expensive app purchase to halfway work. It’s not worth downloading much less buying. There’s no shortage of free apps that will read money and much more. Get Seeing AI or AIpoly instead.
In response to the developer’s response, you clearly misunderstand your market. Lots of free and more functional apps are capable of reading foreign currencies Moreover most other foreign countries have a tactile means of readily identifying all of their currency by touch alone, therefore no app is necessary. America is an outlier in this respect there’s no need for your app in most other countries or the USA. CashReader is too buggy, too expensive, and a waste of time and money.

Very accurate and a whole lot faster than the other apps that I have paid for. I totally recommend it

If you download this it is not the full version. It will only read small denominations. In order to re-$20 bills and hire you have to purchase the full version. The free version constantly badgers you to upgrade.

CashReader is incredible. I love how I can scan any kind of money from around the world and get instant feedback on what the denomination of the cash is. I was sad to see money reader go, but cash reader is the ultamate app for determining the denomination of the bill. I love the fact that I can just pull out my phone and hold up the bill and immediately get virbal feedback on how much it is worth. For years I have been struggling to find the right app for reading money but now, I don't have to do that anymore. I strongly recommend CashReader for anyone who is blind or low vision and is tired of fumbleing around with loose bills or having to ask someone to read your cash to you. It is the best talking money app identifier out there. I will never go without my cash reader out and ready to go again.

A great app which makes life of people with a vision limitation easy and independent. Many currencies for when you travel. Great job.

I like the vibration feature, which announces the denomination in a non-verbal way. I also like that you can recognize bills without a data connection. Money Reader could do this, but you can no longer download that from CashReader Store. Depending on your use case, this may still be a better option, as it recognizes many currencies Money Reader did not. Also, as new bills with different designs come out, since Money Reader is no longer in deveropment apparently, Myoung Reader will likely not recogniue those. CashReader also does a lot of curency recognition not found in apps such as Seeing AI and iNote. Both of these apps are free, but you get what you pay for.

I was out of town for my little cousin’s birthday. I hadn’t had time to fold my money. I had twenties and ones. Good thing I had CashReader to make sure I didn’t give him a one.

CashReader sometimes mis-identifies bills when I first scan them, but it eventually gets it right.

I am using this recognized app since it was launched.
I have no chance to compare the quality of Cash Reader with any applications.
It identifying the higher number of currencies all over the world.

fast, responsible, easy to use, what more could you hope for? Not to forget that my currency, the Lebanese pound, was recently added and is perfectly working with all kinds of banknotes "new, old, extremely used, etc.". Keep up your awesome work guys

I am Blind and CashReader is a great help less concerned I am being taken advantage of in my giving cash or receiving change back I wish CashReader could read coins as well since I don’t have the best of feeling in my fingers so I am not always sure what coins I am using or receiving

While I was at first reluctant to sign up for another subscription app, I relented and glad I did. CashReader has a clean interface and a host of interesting options under Settings. Best of all, it works reliably and very responsive. It’s reassuring to know that I can reliably tap into my secret cash stash with confidence without sighted assistance. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be a secret.

This is a wonderful app for blind users. I am an American touring here in Thailand. I do not speak much Thai and spoken English here is not spoken regularly either. So, paying bills in a restaurant and receiving Thai currency change can be an issue at times. However, when I pay my bill and I am given the change in the receipt book I no longer need to hassle with the waitress to tell me the Thai Boht bills I am handed back to me. I bought the lifetime subscription and I am more than pleased I did. Thanks for CashReader and all your hard work. In its development.

I would recommend CashReader to all visually impaired people.
