Dominos - Classic Board Games Reviews

So the game itself is not bad, although to be honest I have played a better domino game on a different domino app. I think the biggest complaint I have, is literally after each game, there is a 1-30 second ad that plays. I like the game, but am close to deleting Dominos , simply because the aggressiveness of all the constant ads. Way tooooo many ads! To the creators of Dominos, if you want us the consumer to like Dominos & want to use it, you don't do something that turns the consumer off to your app. Being constantly peppered with ads every 2 minutes, has me close to deleting Dominos. Hence, the one star rating, the game itself is decent, but the constant assault of ads is just too much. More than I have experienced with any other app.

I love the game but the x’s in the corner the you have to tap to continue playing could be a bit bigger. I a older player and find it difficult sometimes to tap it to move on and end up going out of the game and restarting it. Should be easier for older players.

They make this game annoying with too many ads. Literally, I played one game and had so many invasive ads that I deleted it. Games like this try to force you to get the paid version, but if you don’t give people a chance to even like the game because of invasive, loud ads (even when you have the sound off) then you’re losing users of Dominos. Deleted forever, and you’ll never get me to buy the paid version. There are better, less invasive apps out there. Dominos is awful.

Scoring seemed fair enough when first installed, but after a while, it stopped adding points when scoring. Have tried this game for a couple of months now. Scoring has a major bug. Frequently used awards 50 points to computer for no reason. Player often picks up 5 or 6 doubles in all modes, including easy.

The game is a great game, and deserves a 5 star rating, but it gets very boring when the show the same ad 10 tp 20 times in a row. And when starting the game you have to go through 4 to 6 ads before you can play. I realize that that’s what pays for game, but there is a limit.

While graphics are good, the embedded ads are way too long, too loud (Often don’t let you mute) and frequently crash Dominos . Why I do not play as often as I would like.

I like dominoes and this one is okay. Different getting use to 3D but it works.

This is a great and relaxing game. I use it to help me calm down after working hard.

I deleted the other game they froze after all those ads

Plays ok but after playing realized that computer play is faulty. Example computer doesn’t play big six at times when it could get 15 points. Also allowed me play a double less than what should have been played.

I love the game but the ads are longer than the game! They are a nuisance and you have to sit through them. This game takes up too much of my iPad battery because of ALL the ads.

I love the game itself but a 30 second ad after every round is absurd. I wouldn’t play it if it didn’t let me shut down Dominos and keep my place.

I enjoyed the game , but it often failed to start on my iPad. There is no option button to start a new game. So I had no choice but to close the game. I have recently downloaded a different this app game.

When the game tells you What to play and Where to play, it’s not a game! Played 5 games to see if the suggestions (yeah right, when you can’t play a different tile or put in different place) would stop. They didn’t, I reviewed, I deleted!

This game against the computer stinks! For a lack of better words! When I send the opponent to the boneyard he almost always pulls ONE bone! When the opponent pulls more than one bone, the bones that are pulled oftentimes has a blank to it! When I domino they always have blank blank! Crazy and frustrating

I played “with” dominoes as a child, but never learned the game. Dominos is great!

The most obnoxious ads I’ve seen. Loud, multi layered. You need to click six times before you can get out of them. Two timers and two App Store opps. Shameless.

Worth it to pay the monthly fee to get rid of ads.

I like the game, I hate that you have to pay money monthly to get the adds off. Thus only 3 stars. The game play is good, the graphics are good the game is this app as it should be.

There are several play modes, single and two person mode, easy and difficult mode (which I think the computer cheats because it always seems to pull out a block just in time to beat you, hmmm?

If it wasn’t for all the darn adds popping up this would be 5 stars.

I paid for Dominos but still get ads when opening…….why? Not getting what i paid for……non ad app!

Nice this app game but $2.99 a month to remove the ads!! Are you out of your mind? I deleted as will not pay monthly to be rid of ads. No Thanks!!

Quite often, the ads take over and turn the screen black..Timing the ads to appear between rounds will make the game more enjoyable.
