Update: I’m uninstalling MiniCrosswordDaily because it’s no longer fun. The fact that the timer is fixed and that I’ve encountered too many misleading or strange clues and misspellings. It’s Terre Haute, folks. It’s not “Terra” Haute as I encountered today. Don’t suggest changing the timer setting. There is none. I checked.
Finally, it often freezes between puzzles.

Original: On the whole, the puzzles are quite entertaining. I like MiniCrosswordDaily very much but please change the timer from a fixed time to just a basic timer like the NYT mini has. Or, an option to set our own timer. Like the subject says, occasionally there is a spelling error or an incorrect fact. (Are your editors basing this on UK English?) By the way, Q-tips are not only a name brand but not medically recommended for cleaning ears (look it up).

The clues are pretty much impossible to solve given there could be so many possible answers. Sometimes the clue will just be one word and there’s no way to actually guess the answer. You’re better off playing the Times which is still difficult but at least solveable.

I like this puzzle format but this the 2nd time I have signed up and been charged $3.99 a month and can not open the puzzle packs in the current month. This happened last year too. I tried again in July. I could open July puzzles but was charged for august and can not open them. I canceled subscription. Very disappointed. I want my money back.

Super fun game overall, but i had initially did the 7 day free trial and after the 7 days i paid for the 3.99 monthly subscription but it did not give me access to any of the puzzle packs and none of it was ad free. The subscription claims both of these things when purchased however none of it was true and was honestly false advertising. Loved the game but super disappointed in the subscription. Paid $3.99 for nothing, waste of money tbh.

Subscribed to the plan to remove ads and deliver monthly additional puzzle pack. Ads removed but asks me to purchase the puzzle pack for an additional price. Has been this way for several months. Tried restoring purchase, which always says “success” but never actually works. iPhone 12, latest iOS, and updated app. Unsubscribed…

I got MiniCrosswordDaily specifically so I could play multiple games a day and I can’t. Also, you can’t leave the game and come back to it later 🤦🏼‍♀️ I guess I’m so used to the practicality of NYT games that I’m not accustomed to this. I think I’m gonna just delete MiniCrosswordDaily bc I can’t deal with it. Good idea, frustrating execution.

I love MiniCrosswordDaily! But recently, it hasn’t allowed me to open it. I click on MiniCrosswordDaily , but it won’t load. I’ve restarted my phone several times, redownloded it, and so on. I’m not sure what to do and I miss playing my crosswords!

The same questions with same answers come up or same answers for different questions. Must be hard creating puzzles.

I had trouble with MiniCrosswordDaily after using it a few years. The changes made to it resulted in my not be able to review puzzle before I reviewed it. I guess I was pressing the wrong ‘button’. Once I received an email from app created, which was VERY prompt after my negative review, I learned to press the correct ‘button’ , which allows me to review. I like having two puzzles to solve each day also.

I enjoy MiniCrosswordDaily, but I really wish there was a setting where you could turn off the timer.

I have been addicted to this game lately. The only negative thing I have to say is there are many repeating words. How many times have I played "eyes" or "elf" or "spas"

It doesn’t always let me unlock packs and extra games

I like this better than any of the full puzzle apps, because you get in and out, and you can set the difficulty high enough to make it an actual challenge.

W app Ive been obsessed with the nyt crosswords but there is only one a day but MiniCrosswordDaily u can do the daily one but theres also packs of puzzles to play its very fun and the dino is very cute get MiniCrosswordDaily ive been playing this every day and not a lot of adverts

I really like this game. It’s fun and challenging. I like having a bite-sized crossword to start my day and I like trying to beat the timer. Can’t wait to play tomorrow!

I love The NY Times mini crossword,but I prefer MiniCrosswordDaily by far! Less cultural references, challenging timer and a winning streak monitor makes this the BEST morning challenge around!
Very highly recommended!!!

Or maybe love it AND hate it…….if you’re bored with crosswords, try this….It's addictive….but won’t kill you

With the latest update, the clues are hard to read and the letters are missing from the keyboard. It caused me to lose my highest streak. Very disappointed.

I feel so pleased with myself when I solve a puzzle!

I like that it’s timed and that I get to compete against myself. I had some friends download it and we play against each other now too. My longest streak was 9 days and I look forward to when the puzzle comes out at night to try to get back to it. Def recommend!
