App gives you pictures but puzzle is not configured to be fun the way it used to be. Now just a rip-off. So disappointed!! Remove app and give me refund! You have not met your obligation to set up puzzles so they can be played. You just put new pictures that have pieces that are not ready to be worked. I have not been able to utilize my subscription since last October. Either start fixing them or get someone who can fix the pieces to fit puzzle and add five months to my subscription or cancel and give me my money back. This is the second time that I have not been able to do the puzzles for months when I have a years subcription that I paid for.? I hav sent you emails and contacts but you don’t seem to care. I will never get a subscription for any reason f your games and puzzles. What a rip off! I really enjoyed Color when I could use it! Don’t spend your money on this. Fulfilment of your obligation to set up your puzzles as required is apparently not important to you. JH

I actually enjoy doing this this app by number. There are a lot of pictures you get when you first DL Color . Unfortunately, once you this app all of those you only get one to two free ones a day. Now I don’t mind paying for apps I like but this one is a bit too high priced for me. Again, Color is nice but there is no way I’m going to pay a WEEKLY fee of $6 just to get more pictures to this app in. Honestly, asking for $6 to unlock everything for life would be asking too much for Color. Thank you for what you’ve provided but your cost for an app like this is WAY over priced and that is my reason for the two stars.
Update: the developers continue to let you know it’s about the money. In their latest money grab with the latest update, they have locked out even more pictures. Color is not worth the cost. $6 a week (up to $24-$30 a month if you pay weekly), or $9 a month ($108 a year if you pay monthly) or $40 a year. $40 a year???? That is insane for a drag and drop this app by number app.
Great game but horrible cost at $6 a week!

This would totally be a 5 star app if you got more pictures to do free each day. When I 1st downloaded Color I had lots and lots of pictures to complete then all of the sudden one day I logged on and I only had a few, also tons of pictures I had done the previous day were now “locked”. Now it looks like everyday you get only 2 pictures to complete and then they LOCK 4 pictures that were previously available so your lose MANY pictures daily and only gain 2 new ones. I really am not liking that at all. This is such a relaxing fun app the concept is great. It’s not just another this app by number app because it’s basically a puzzle and a this app by number all on one. Works your brain so much more, the cost to purchase tho is just way too high for this type of app!! And it seems like with all these pictures becoming locked it feels like they are almost trying to FORCE you into paying the outrageously high cost. I wouldn’t mind paying but 6 bucks a week?? No way!!
You will NOT win.

I have been playing this game for three years and I would even say that it’s my favorite. However, I see how you continuously shorten the time you have until a free picture is locked for membership only and you are NOT as slick as you think you are. First it was just the pictures from weeks ago until now where if you miss more than three days, you will find that the pictures have already been locked. This is embarrassing for you as an app developers. Now I will continue to play this game because I love it and even if you lock the pictures a minute after they have been uploaded, I will still this app them but I will NOT buy premium. This feels dirty, I don’t want to feel like i’m being scammed into buying your membership. Sincerely, Your most loyal player
Loc Color. I would say I’ve only come across 2 ‘flaws’ though. For whatever reason, there are times where both I and my mother get a slow connection when tying to open a picture. It doesn’t matter if we’re using data, our wi-if, o out in public. Seems the only way to fix this ‘flaw’ has been to either hit the back button and then click to reopen the pic or close and reopen Color . The other flaw I’ve found has to deal with saved pics. Sadly I had to restore my iPad. While other apps once they’re redownloaded will - after you click restore purchases and/or reconnect via Facebook, etc. will have all previous work restored, I’ve learned the hard way that Color does not. So I find myself not only recoloring all previous pictures (a minor hardship), but also having to regret all the bonus pics from Facebook.😩
However, in the long run and overall- I LOVE Color. It’s in my top 3 apps for relaxation.
Love this app...

Except for one tiny thing. In the gallery the pictures are sorted with completed pics first, yet to be colored pics last. I’ve bought the yearly subscription, and I’m thinking that pretty soon it will take me an hour to scroll through to the unfinished pics...can this be changed? Other than that, his is fabulous. You have to hunt for the spots occasionally, but not too hard, so it doesn’t get boring. Lots of free pics if you don’t want the subscription. Thanks much for a great app!
Aug 29, 2021 First reviewed Color awhile ago, and my only complaint is still the same…completed pictures remain in the “gallery” so have to be scrolled through to get to new pics. Please, for the love of all your favorite things…remove colored pics from the “gallery” when the completed pics go into the “my artwork! Section.

I seldom pay for apps but I did subscribe to two months of Color because I really enjoy the puzzles. However this will be my last month because it is just too frustrating having to page down through all the puzzles to find one you want to do. All the finished puzzles are mixed in with the ones that haven’t been worked. If you start a puzzle and don’t finish it you have to scroll through all your finished puzzles to find it. It would be great if you could save a list of puzzles you want to work as you scroll through. I also agree with another reviewer that putting pictures in categories would also be a big help. I hope you will consider these comments if you want to continue to keep current customers.
Some friendly suggestions :)

I LOVE this game. I find it to be extremely relaxing. I do have a few tips that I think it can improve on though.
1.) Make it so that you can put a song on loop. I love listening to the atmospheric piano piece and would like to just put it on repeat rather than have to turn it back on every time it ends.
2.) Allow us to change the background this app behind the puzzle/artwork itself. There are a lot of times when I’ve accidentally dragged and dropped a very lightly colored puzzle piece onto the white backdrop and then I lose it. It would help a lot if you can choose the background this app or at least switch it from white to black at will.
3.) Have a “recall” button that summons all of your free pieces back into your inventory bar. This is helpful when you lose a puzzle piece on the white background or when it blends in on the puzzle and you cant find it anywhere.
4.) Make it so that you don’t have to drag and drop the puzzle piece, but instead just click it and then click where you want it to go. This really is to aid iPhone X users like me who constantly swipe Color close by accident because they have to drag the puzzle from the bottom of the screen.
Those are just my friendly tips to help improve this already great app!!!! Thanks so much :)
Recent Problems

Hi, Over the past week or so, this program has been experiencing problems. The day that you published the two drawings that included a picture of buttes in the desert and also a picture of a woman lying on the beach on her back, I could not access either picture. When I tried to start the picture, a this app circle came onscreen and kept rotating, until it finally stopped. Today, I received two pictures. The first, a side-view of a panther or cougar, was accessible and I finished it! The second picture was of a side-view of a football player could not even be started because none of the shapes on the picture matched the shapes above the numbers. I don’t mean to be rude, but you people need to get your act together. I turned 74 today, and was looking forward to doing today’s paintings, but I was sadly disappointed. Please fix whatever is going wrong with this program. I think that a lot of people, other than me, must be missing the former quality of this program thst we’ve become used to! Thank you!
I am in love with this game I have the monthly subscription, the only thing that frustrates me some is having to scroll all the way back through all the pictures to find the one you saw the other day that you wanted to do. I think in your next update you should categorize all the picture such as animals, builds, landscape, etc. however you choose to categorize it but you should also have a search bar so for example if I wanted to do a dog picture I could just type the word dog and all the ones you have with dogs in it would pop up so I don’t have to spend so much time looking through to find all the dog ones and then figuring out which it is I’d like to do. Other than that minor thing I’m obsessed with this game I think I do at least 7 pictures in a day I can’t wait until the other one comes out I already have it preordered!!!
Great way to calm down

I suffer from anxiety and I just love this game for when I’m having a really bad time. Completing the puzzles is soothing to me. The pictures are beautiful, fun to do, and come in a wide variety of difficulties so you don’t get bored. You also have the ability to refresh puzzles to do them again but you don’t really need to when so many images are available, especially if you pay the yearly fee to unlock more. You don’t have to pay the yearly fee to unlock all of the puzzles in order to play but I have for several years now and I think it’s totally worth it. The only thing I would like to see added is the ability to filter finished images out of your gallery. It can be quite annoying to have to scroll through finished images to find the ones you still need to do.
Great App, A Few Improvements Would Be Great!

This is a great app that has become an essential part of my destress and self-care routines. I subscribed to the premium version about a year ago and was pleased with the vast amount of puzzles I gained access to.
However, it’s difficult to scroll through the puzzle bank without accidentally opening one up. It would be nice if there was a wider scrolling bar so that happens less.
I would also appreciate having an estimate of how much time each puzzle will take to solve. Sometimes I am looking for a complex puzzle that will keep me busy for a while, other times I’m looking for something that can be solved quickly. Right now, I have to open the puzzle up and eyeball it to determine how long it’ll take to complete.
Overall this is a great puzzle app with a basic interface that could use a couple of improvements!
***Scrolling through other’s reviews, it looks like the company has not incorporated suggestions and feedback from its users like the kind I offered above. I will rate Color lower if I feel like my feedback hasn’t been considered or improvements aren’t made to Color in general***
Need option to filter “in process” and “not yet started”
2024-09-25
by Rosie Dozy
I love this program. It is very calming but I rated this a 4. It is missing what I consider critical. There is no way to filter on puzzles not yet started and also, puzzles in process. Yes, if you scroll and scroll you can find them as they are gray, but in my opinion, an option to see “puzzles in process” and also “puzzles not started” would be a great feature. I have done a gazillion of these puzzles and love every minute but when I need to step away, I can’t just resume easily. When you have done a lot of the puzzles, finding the one in process is time consuming. Also, finding a new puzzle that is older and not yet started, can be quite a scrolling event. Otherwise, great fun!

I really like Color I’m a veteran and struggle with some issues. When I need to refocus I use Color to change my how I’m thinking. I can see success and take my time doing it I put it down and come back when I’m ready a few minutes, hours, days, even a week. Thing I like best is I can pick something that’s peaceful it’s great. The colors are relaxing and bring the artwork alive well layer out. One thing is I wish I could select my own music some how. I would love to see something like this a the Veteran Hospital when I was there would have given me real peace of mind. Thanks for Color keep up the good work. Maybe I’ll see this as something to pick online as a helpful tool for veterans at the VA Hospital or the Veterans Center some day.
I had this game for a long time and played it daily. Then my tablet died and when my children got me a new one for my birthday this year, this game was the first that I loaded on it. It was my favorite thing to do before bedtime. Well, on most of the reviews I read it says there are plenty of free puzzles, which is how it was before. I have scrolled looking for the free ones for so long I thought my arm was going to fall off. Never did find any. And as a retired senior on a fixed budget, I can either play my game or eat, so I just can’t afford to pay what you’re asking. And this is why you get no stars. Sorry. I’m so dissapointed, but I guess everything is about the money these days. No one thinks about the old and the young people that haven’t got a lot of money.

I was spending WAY too much time popping bubbles (or trying to pop bubbles) while watching TV... Since that just seemed to get very frustrating, I decided I’d try to find something else. This is lots of fun and more satisfying than the endless Bubble games! This is a year & 1/2 after first review. I pay for purchases yet there are approximately 150 that are in groups of 40-50 that I am unable to open. What’s up with that? Be nice if someone would tell me how to get to those!
UPDATE….. Still no response to my complaints about not being allowed to ‘this app’ the 150 or so I have paid for, but can’t access. If there was another app that I could this app the same way I’d switch.
Color by Number

Color is a lot of fun when I don’t feel like putting in the effort to actually this app. Searching for a shape identified by a number is an entertaining brain exercise. It is a good alternative to crunching numbers and developing text. It relaxes my stressed-out brain by gently exercising a different part of it.
Now, quite a few months later, my life stress has been lots more severe, and I find I am using this game to shut my mind down for blocks of time, and just hide out. Some situations which are genuinely beyond my control, and it a waste of my time and energy to discover new ways to be aggravated, so I’m returning to the enjoyment of shape and number identification, and I expect that soon I will be tracking progress and developing text Kim once again.
Oh tes, a despite a severe slump in finances, I am signing up for a year of this app by Number this evening.
Love the color app better than my delete ones

by Crystaldaniela
I love Color. I prefer it over the other coloring apps which I have deleted those previous ones numerous of times. The only thing I want or wish it had filters but I know it would take away from the try concept of the completed artwork. Another issue is that I can’t find my this app pieces, for example white if I did not match it with the designated number. It hides in the background so I have to keep dragging all around to find the missing piece. I hope that made sense. Overall, I still rated it 5 because even the minor issues still made it a winning coloring app for me. Please send more images to this app. Thank you developers!
Enjoyable, but...

I really like Color. It’s complex enough to keep you entertained, but not overwhelmingly so. There are a couple of drawbacks, but not ones that will keep me away. For one thing, there is no crossover of data between devices, so if you want to play on your phone, and on your tablet, you won’t see the same puzzle being worked on. Also, if you are working on an older puzzle, and a new one comes in, you are automatically directed to the new one. You don’t lose your work on the older one, but you need to go looking for it in the extensive list. Extensive is good, in that it allows many hours of fun, but... I’ll still give this five stars, since the drawbacks are simply my preferences, and no indication of the quality of Color .
The game is amazing for anyone who loves this app by numbers and jigsaw puzzles. The game has very pretty music that so relaxing after a long stressful day. I can just get lost in a puzzle and forget about all my problems in life. The pictures are all absolutely breathtaking. I knew I was going to enjoy this so I went ahead and bought the subscription before I started playing. I must say 100 percent worth it. I love the fact that even though I finished all 92 of the pictures so far. I can always look forward to doing the two new ones tomorrow. The creators deserve very much to be successful with app because they are in my opinion genius for making such an amazing beautiful creation of an app that’s just so relaxing. Thx guys keep up the great work.
Why the new type of coloring?

by Akebonofan
I love Color but the new coloring that does not show a picture until you put all the blocks of this app on the numbers is awful. I am frustrated and disappointed because I have used this program daily but now I do not want to continue with these pictures. I hope they are not here to stay. If so I will be looking for a new App. I absolutely loved using this program daily until this change. Please get rid of these pictures or mark them so we can choose whether to this app them or not. I use the program successfully to relax and these new pictures are not relaxing.
Love it! Plus now an update.

I love this so much that I have done all the free puzzles for the past 4 yrs now. I do wish though that every night they would have 2 puzzles. I hate when a night goes without putting any out as I don’t have them to do. I had even downloaded the other 2 apps that this author put out but there were only a few puzzles in them to do which I finished also. I’m on social security otherwise I would buy a few of the paid puzzles.
Update….since I put this review on, they are putting out a lot less of these puzzles….maybe 3 a wk now….Im hoping that it gets picked back up…I’m lowering my review form 5 stars to 3 stars and if they do get back to 1 a day I will put it back to 5 stars.
Good game

Would have given five stars yesterday. I just bought the subscription for a year and having nothing but problems. The pieces kind of just stutter around and won’t fall into place. Have to shut down iPad and restart to get it to work right. Have had to do this four times today already. Until this happened I was really enjoying. Actually quite addicting. Will update now with 5 stars, don’t know if someone did something or it just straightened out but have not had the problem for quite some time now. Now that it is working right I can say, I LOVE THIS GAME! Well, unfortunately I posted my update too soon. Have to say I am very disappointed. The problem I was having is back and if it keeps happening I will definitely cancel my subscription when the time comes. 😒
Love...with some suggestions

Absolutely love! I find it so relaxing and a great stress reliever. A great variety of pictures to choose from. I do have a few suggestions though:
1) Background this app changes would be great. At times a light colored puzzle piece will get lost in the background while being dragged 2) Once a puzzle has been completed, it should be moved completely to the My Artwork area. It’s quite annoying having to scroll through already completed puzzles to find one not yet done. 3) Lastly, a click and drop option would be nice. Meaning, click on the piece in the selection area, then click on the area where it belongs instead of having to drag it.
I have a one month subscription to Color and am somewhat disappointed in it. I have come across at least five pictures that the numbers do not match the picture. Being my favorite paint by number app I did pay for a month and based on the discrepancy I am not happy that I am being charged for it. I am sure the developers will voice the argument that mistakes will happen and go on their merry way and not try to correct the mistakes and no doubt keep posting the same kind of mistakes as Color grows. I do know once my present subscription expires I will no longer renew it. I would very much like to say, keep up the good work, but I can’t considering what I have witnessed.
