I was happy to find Nature in the beginning because I have trouble sleeping. I downloaded Nature and read through the reviews while I waited. People were saying something about having to pay $5 to get the full app and that made me a bit worried because I don’t pay money on apps because i know I’ll eventually delete it at some point. After waiting on the download I went into Nature and was happy to see that there were two sounds free. But then I was once again disappointed to find out that the rain sound sounds NOTHING like rain. And the fire sounds so eerie to me! I sat and listened to it for a minute and I only lasted a few seconds before feeling so disturbed and quickly turned it off. I sit around campfires with my family often and they sound nothing like that. I’m sorry I really don’t like this. I’m giving my true opinion and I hope I’m not hurting ur feelings. I believe that I should always be honest because then things can improve.

App has packs of sounds you can pay to unlock. When scrolling through the available sound packs, *every* swipe triggered the “Rate Me?!” pop-up. I’d answer “Maybe Later” then swipe to see the next sound pack, and get the same prompt, over and over. WORSE, I’ve got “In-App Ratings & Reviews” turned OFF in iOS, so I should *never* be prompted to review, ever, let alone continuously.

Nature is not only annoying, it *ignores a system-level setting* to prevent that behavior. This developer should *not* be rewarded with your dollars. Find a similar app from the many dozens available. Don’t support this treatment!

I have yet to even work with Nature but LITERALLY EVERY SCREEN has a nag to “rate” Nature ! After 10 times seeing it I finally decided to write something here to make the point that I HATE apps that are that insecure.

Hint to developer: when I hit “maybe later,” later (to me) means in a few days or weeks, NOT literally moments later. Garbage like this makes me delete most apps immediately, will go back to Nature now and see if it finally leaves me alone so I can use it, otherwise it’s gone forever.

Current Review: Recently revisited Nature; only allowed to listen to rain—it’s not very good as it has a bunch of noisy birds in the background! Very amateur; I could record better rain sounds. Not only did it suggest I give it a rating; it practically forced me, otherwise I could not check out any other sounds. Maybe they are locked behind a paywall anyway. Don’t waste you time with Rain Sounds app.
Previous Review: $4.99 to unlock all? Way too expensive! Other cheaper apps provide us with hundreds of sounds plus mixing capabilities!

If this was a simple mistake, I apologize and will edit my review accordingly, but until then, with the new update, all of my purchases were taken away, and there doesn’t seem to be any was to contact the developers. I have receipts. I haven’t slept in 24 hours. This helps me sleep. I am tired; I am irritable; and if this is purposeful, I am vindictive enough to fight until Nature is either fixed or removed from Nature Store. If this was unintentional, -please- get back to me as soon as you’re able.

Pretty cool on the rain and fire sound making that you can control the features with a sliding bar increasing the amount of birds or thunder or fire popping. But what kills the whole app is the sound goes quiet after about two minutes For just a brief second making you think you got a text message or phone notification and your brain wakes up.

Wrote this review then deleted Nature .

The rain sounds are nice and I like how you could customize the volume of the different sounds together, but the sounds fade in and out every 2 minutes. Sadly, I can't use Nature if it fades in and out because it is too distracting when I'm sleeping. It would be better if it could play continuously without and gaps inbetween loops.

Love the realistic sounds, and the ability to mix sound levels. The only thing is that with the heavy rain, the sound fades out and up quickly when it loops. It should not do that, it should just cut on/ off. One would not notice the cut, like with the fade.

I like the sounds and the customization is nice. Really great interface with simple navigation and calming colors. Not sure it’s worth the five bucks to unlock the others though. Maybe if there were more categories.

Rain Sounds is the best app I’ve ever downloaded I’ve had problems with sleeping in the past Rain Sounds has really helped me the only thing I would change is that I think there should be more bedtime stories and meditations for people who don’t have the membership but otherwise five stars!

I really enjoy Nature. Now I have two I can go back and forth to fall asleep to. It is worth the $5 to get all of them. Since my surgery I have been sleeping upstairs and all my music is downstairs. I have been trying to find fall asleep music that has a timer. Now I have two and have been able to fall asleep a lot quicker 🙂. It’s been so nice.

Rain Sounds is pretty useful, especially for a person like me who has trouble falling asleep. This isn’t just useful for nighttime, but also if you get stressed throughout the day. Nice work!

Most apps that assist you on falling asleep at night by listening to whatever sounds you enjoy, usually all cost a hefty price for the day, month or year packages. Nature is a 5$ charge permanently. On top of the price you cannot beat by going elsewhere, it has a ton of different sounds to choose from. You are also enabled to modify each sound and fine tune it to your exact taste. I have no complaints 🤫😴🤤

Seems like the people giving bad reviews just can’t figure out how to use Nature . Lots of sounds other than just fire and rain, and you just swipe up on the three lines at the bottom.

I’ve used Rain Noise for only a short time and I like it a lot. I finally lost patience with RainRain due to the ratio of premium to free sounds and my free tokens for premium sounds disappearing. It seemed bloated with sounds. This is obviously not the case with Rain Noise, and I’m glad to have found it!

Midnight Owl: Sleep Sounds downloaded and installed without any issues. Nature has a very nice interface. The rain sleep sounds really calm me. I also like the fire sounds. The timer is useful too. Overall, it's a great application.
