Kura Sushi Waitlist Reviews

Apps buggy and it really isn’t convenient for customers to sit and wait on an app. Rather than making a reservation. I understand they’re popular but there is nowhere on the website that says you need to reserve a spot through KuraSushiWaitlist until you call. Also for the guy calling people “morons” maybe you had a good experience but you are simply an outlier in a sea of bad reviews. And calling paying customers morons isn’t cute and these comments are disrespectful and shouldn’t be published because they are not constructive at all, instead attacking customers for speaking out against a really inconvenient and unsavory method of reserving spots.

Put myself on the waiting list as I was leaving my house, got there 20 minutes later, waited 10 minutes and got in.

Would do again.

It’s great for getting your name in, but never trust the times it gives you. It told us 2 1/2 hours, so we went off to run some errands. After an hour I received a text saying our name was being called, so we got back as fast as we could, but it was too late. Now there’s a five hour wait.

Use it, and plan on standing outside for anywhere from ten minutes to however long it actually says.

Loved KuraSushiWaitlist. It allowed us to bypass lines on date nights. However, tonight it’s an utter fail. It will not work. I have tried rebooting my phone, uninstalling and reinstalling app, even making a new account... all I get are pop ups saying “ok” and “oops”. We may not go tonight because of an app failure. 😐
Update: unable to sign up for new account. Unable to retrieve password for original account. Very dissatisfied.

It’s great to be able to get on the waiting list in advance. It’s awful that it can’t automatically figure out my home shop by location or by allowing me to lock a “favorite” as a default and every single time I open KuraSushiWaitlist , I have to scroll through dozens of other US locations to find mine, a problem that will only grow worse as the chain deservedly grows.

Why no addresses?

Why no nutritional information?

Why no lists of specials?

Why not be able to tie it into my rewards club points?

So many missed opportunities.

Next update needs ability to set save preferred location. Or base it off phone location.

First time I was able to find the Kura in my neighborhood but now there is no option for it.

Could you guys update KuraSushiWaitlist to keep an estimate for how long it will be before our table is ready? Saying I’m #30 in line isn’t super helpful.

Reserved our space in line. Never got the notification that our turn was up. Went in the restaurant and showed them my reservation, still had to wait in line for 30 mins because we have to sign in at the end of the line.

Attempted to sign up so I could place reservation. I was notified I needed to verify my phone number, i then did just that multiple times. I never received the texts... until almost 24 hours later. Never even was able to open KuraSushiWaitlist .

When prompted to select a location for reservation, the loading wheel just keeps spinning. No amount of waiting or app resetting fixes the issue. Sad it doesn’t work.

Needs to show current status and that you have already checked in.
