BJJ Master App by Grapplearts Reviews

The content is great and I am a huge fan of Stephan Kesting. He does an excellent job of breaking down techniques with very little fluff. Rob Biernacki, however, can talk for hours so I although he is not very pithy, the content is still quite good. The catch is that if you don’t buy the content on the ipad or your iPhone, the content does not automatically download over to the BJJ master app. It seems really silly to me and this is not well explained. Customer service has been very helpful and responsive with this but you just need to know the rules before you purchase. 5 stars for customer service but 3 stars for clunky app - average it to 4 stars.

I have used Gracie university, BJJMasterApp, and many other apps on BJJMasterApp Store. There is no doubt that this is the absolute best! The customer service is amazing! The instructors are wonderful. The content is frankly, overwhelming. If you don’t know anything about BJJ, I would highly recommend going step by step through Gracie University or study under a good instructor. Stephan’s roadmap of BJJ (free) is also essential reading. However, if you are further in your BJJ journey, there is absolutely no better resource than this! Thanks Stephan for all you do for the community!

Stephen Kesting and his circle of instructors consistently produce superb instructionals. Great detail, down to earth tone, easy to navigate app format, and top notch customer service. Over the years I’ve learned so many great details from Stephen, Brendan Mullins, Emily Kwok, Ritchie Yip, Rob Biernacki, etc that have helped me progress, and there’s tons more content to study and incorporate. I just downloaded the modern leglock app and am looking forward to taking on what appears to be a PhD course in lower limb applied physics. Thanks for all the great stuff and please keep it up!

As a BJJ rookie, BJJMasterApp is pure gold! Everything is broken down and made easy to understand. I went all in and got everything so I have ready access to any of the concepts as I progress at my school. Not gonna lie. I did take a couple of random sneak peeks at more advanced modules. Such awesome content! I can’t wait to get proficient in everything presented (and it IS very extensive)! As the younger folks say these days, BJJMasterApp is 🔥🔥! Also, shout out to great customer support for swiftly addressing a minor concern.

Have always been a big fan of coach Kesting’s instructional videos and his podcasts (“the strenuous life” check it out)
This application puts together his impressive library of techniques, drills and concepts in a convenient little package.
Easy to navigate and very quick to access.
A big plus is the support staff is quick to respond to any questions and complaints you have about BJJMasterApp .

Stephan’s instructions are always very clear and easy to understand. The production quality is excellent and BJJMasterApp is well designed. Stephan is a talented instructor who knows BJJ and knows how to explain it and demonstrate it. I have no affiliation with him. I just really appreciate the quality of the content he puts out online.

Are you aware of why the sound is not working? I’m using the iPhone app. Obviously sound is turned on on the phone and within BJJMasterApp but still no sound coming through. Sound is working with everything else phone related.

BJJMasterApp makes me angry… angry because nothing like this existed when I started learning martial arts! Anybody seeking to learn or improve their BJJ shouldn’t think twice… download BJJMasterApp! You’re not going to find a better teacher than Stephan or a better value than BJJMasterApp. Thumbs up!

Stephan always provides great content and amazing service. Have purchased several other apps from him and excited to see them all consolidated into one. Now I just gotta make the moves stick in my head for the mats. 😂 Oss!

Stephan Kesting’s instructional style really pops in BJJMasterApp. He presents a useful blend of techniques across different instructors and approaches to the mental and physical game of jiu-jitsu. There is enough here for novices and higher belts to study and use on the mat.

I have been following Stephens work for at least 5 years now and he has assembled some of the hands down best BJJ instructors from North America and Brazil to teach on his app all excellent content and excellent customer service !!!

Like everything else from grapplearts, BJJMasterApp is great.

It’s the same info as his dvd’s, but handy to have on your phone. Makes it easier to take to the mat to practice.

This is great for any beginners, I love BJJMasterApp and watch these videos as much as I can, great if you really want to learn, but the reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is there are no takedown techniques and some key sweeps and submissions etc. that they didn’t add

I have been a fan of the Grapplearts apps for some time. I have been trying to develop my Leglock game for years but Moderm Leglocks has brought it all together. Love the new app!!

I thought that by paying the $50 cost to buy the entire package, that that would unlock all BJJMasterApp content in the series. It DOES NOT! It only unlocks a single series for that price. The content isn’t bad, but it’s exorbitantly overpriced for what it is. For the $50 it really should unlock ALL the series with that app.

Stephan helped to insure all of my previous apps were available through the new app. All worked out.

Simply the most complete BJJ app on iTunes. A complete catalogue of techniques and systems. Enough free content for about two apps!! Thanks.

Please make a free module where there is a couple submissions, sweeps, guard passes and other things.

Stephan is an outstanding instructor. More intellectual than your average BJJ gorilla, but also doesn’t require a protractor and thesaurus like Danaher. Great blend of charisma, profound knowledge and an easy-to-digest teaching style. BJJMasterApp has a nice balance of free content and paid content—you sort of know when you’re to fork over a few bucks for a paid module, each of which as a ton of great stuff. Stephan also brings along some great guest instructors (I highly recommend his BJJ formula module with Rob Biernacki—I could (and probably will) chew on just that content for years). All of Stephan’s Grapplearts work is top notch, and an outstanding supplement to your regular training. Oss!

Stephan is a great instructor. You can really learn a lot of practical, actionable stuff from the courses and materials accessible through BJJMasterApp.
