Hidrent Pro - for Firefighters Reviews

I have been using Hidrent Pro as a firefighter for a few months now. The process is really simple. I get a notification when a job is posted near me. I can view it and either accept it or ignore. The jobs I’ve accepted were pretty simple to do on my off days. I’ve seen jobs with companies as well so I’m excited to see more come from HidrentPro. Everything goes through HidrentPro -talk to the customer, hit complete when the job is done, and I get paid directly into my account in a few days. No worries about address and bank account as other reviews have complained-the address is to set your desired radius to get jobs and the bank account is deposit only. Love love love!

I don’t like how it asks you what department you are with and your personal union member number. If it’s needed for ID purposes to keep this for firemen only ok, but it truly none of their business. I also don’t like how you are asked for your bank account info right away. I don’t think you should have to use a bank account if you don’t want to. Allow people to pay with cash or Venmo or PayPal if they want. You can’t even see the jobs in your area to see if it’s worth even doing this. I don’t want to give my bank info only to not even use HidrentPro because of few jobs. Many have said there are hardly any jobs even in big city areas. How does the average citizen submit to this when they need a job done so we can help? Answer these questions and let us see what jobs are around BEFORE we put in bank info.

HidrentPro is not perfect but it does what it should: it walks you through steps to sign up, set your radius, set up alerts, all that…and then how to settle up a job. I’ve used both this one and the previous version, and it’s much better than the old one. If you think it’s a big “waste of time” then you’re spending too much time on it!

As a Firefighter AND paramedic. Yes Sam, we also have medical control in a very busy 911 system, this is a great app. Allows you to fill free time helping your local neighbors and receiving extra income as well. Also to be noted, my fire academy was 7 months and P school was only 9. Get your facts straight Sam You’re uneducated, narrow minded opinion holds 0 value here.

Let me see the actual app before I have to enter my banking account information. I should be able to enter that later. I don’t know HidrentPro developers and I don’t wanna give you my bank account information until I actually see HidrentPro and see if it works. I shouldn’t have to enter this information on the first few screens to even get into HidrentPro .

Not sure what is being done in terms of marketing but I’ve only been able to book one job in 2 months. No jobs available in 40 miles and it’s been that way over a month now. I live in Los Angeles there has to be a bunch of people in need of HidrentPro. Something needs to be done about marketing asap.

HidrentPro is for the firemen, rt? Is there an app where you can book? I see complaints there are not enough jobs but don’t see HidrentPro to download allowing someone hire a fireman. I have a zillion jobs I could use help with like hanging heavy art. And moving furniture. Would love to use this but it’s a bit wonky not being able to book simply like other handyman options.

HidrentPro makes it very easy to sign up and get started earning extra money doing work that I enjoy.

I just watched the shark tank episode went to download HidrentPro to request services but there’s only an app for the firefighters to sign up but could not find a hydrant app for the customer to request the services, I am sure I am not the only one having this problem you may want to address it.

I live in a highly populated area and there have been 3 jobs posted on here in 3 months, if you don’t have HidrentPro ready to open the moment you get a notification you have zero chance of getting anything from this. What a waste of time

Ask your local EMTS and PARAMEDICS…firefighters do not need any more money. Don’t allow apps like these to steal from hardworking, honest people. Look it up…fire school is three months. Paramedic school is two years. All paramedics can be firefighters, not all firefighters can be paramedics.

No phone number?! Or any way to message the client prior to accepting the job. Sometimes questions need to be asked about the job, prior to accepting it.

I like the idea but there’s nothing at all available to me within 40 miles (max allowed) in any category. Maybe need more advertising in areas

Do you have to be a firefighter to take on jobs?

I’m not going to put my account and routing number in to sign up. Great idea, poor execution.

Have app for months not a single job out area

Can’t put them to work if there’s no way to hire them.

Beware, HidrentPro will not let you even look through it or see anything in it till you set up an account. Setting up an account requires a home address and for you to enter your bank account and routing number. I got to the bank number and deleted HidrentPro because it wouldn't let me proceed forward without entering my info.

Fair amount of jobs being posted. Still relatively new app for the area so not too many jobs but you can snag some great ones if you’re quick.

Pretty easy to use , was worth the download. Hope more people download both apps, could be a really useful tool!
