It’s now July, 2021. I am all caught up — again. Please add more levels.

I’ve been waiting for MONTHS for more levels. Is Pineberry the highest level, ever? Hire me to proofread your games! There are so many stupid errors, lately. The word “auto” only has one a. The word “meal” only has one L. And even if they WERE real words, those extra letters aren’t available from which to choose! When the error is my last word, and I’ve uselessly tried every combination, my only option is to use a hint to get the missing letter; then I’ve wasted my coins. I can’t tell you how many times this has happened. A hint uses 30 coins to buy, but costs 50 to use, so I’m losing value buy having to use them. You need to replace at least 5,000 coins to me to compensate for this.

This is a cute, much simpler version of Word Cookies. The graphics are great and it’s better for kids than the other game. It does get old a little fast because it’s almost too simple. With Word Cookies there’s a lot more word options and with this, the creator has less space to play with so fewer words for each puzzle. I do not like all of the pauses in between finding words. If you see multiple words in his original game, you can continue to select them. In this game every time the dog pops up from the cookie jar or a word pops up on the screen about your progress, the game pauses and touching letters has no effect. Overall it’s cute...I do think it’s a good game and I even made an in game purchases to have the ads disappear, but it’s just too simple and monotonous. It also has MAJOR flaws. You can run your fingers over words many times and the game won’t count them, but you can use the hints and it will spell out the words you have already attempted multiple times!!!

The game is well made and entertaining in the beginning. But the vast amount of ads that plague the game are what turns me off. I’m certainly not saying that the game shouldn’t have ads at all, I understand it’s a staple of mobile games. After every single level you complete there’s an ad that plays, if you leave WordCookiesCross in the middle of a game momentarily and come back there will automatically be an ad that plays. It’s so annoying to the point where I no longer feel like playing. No amount of digital coins or daily rewards could convince me to come back to it. I’ll just stick to reading and other real life word activities that don’t require you to look at an ad every 5 seconds.

Since your April 4th update, this game will close on its own and has become nearly unplayable. I am at a 7 letter level and it has gotten very slow in responding to my inputs, then it will freeze, then close. Restarting will only make it work for a word or two, then it happens again. And like many other commenters, I too think there are way too many long ads between rounds. And most of them are oriented towards younger players, not adults. By now I am so tired of Toon Blast I even dislike the color of the displayed players nail polish...

April 8 update: I saw there was a new update to the game so I eagerly went and got it in the hope it would fix the issue I mentioned above. Alas, it did not. The game still closes arbitrarily. It will close in the middle of a round, while looking for more words, while changing puzzle, pretty much anywhere. This started happening after the 4/4 update. I hope you are looking into this issue. It's not getting worse but it's not getting better either.

I understand with the free version that I have to see ads and I'm ok with that however, when I have to see a full 30 sec ad every time after 1 single game is ridiculous. It happens way more often then not. Here n there I get to just bypass the ads after 5 or so secs but majority of the time after just 1 game it's 30 secs every time and I don't understand why it has to be that often for those. And my main problem is the freezing of the game which happens more than it should. Right now I'm stuck after my first set/game of 7 letters. It won't do anything. It's aggravating af! Otherwise I like the game as I always loved word games like this one. If it weren't for the every game 30 secs ads and the freezing which is ridiculous I would have given it 5 stars cuz it is a good time passer. And I do love that they change the themes for the holiday time of yr. cute! Thx for that!

I LOVE this game! It’s better than Letter Soup although similar but rewards and the crossword format make it an enjoyable game...however, having an ad pop up every 2-3 boards is beyond annoying. Some have to be closed out twice with looong delays between x-ing out and the actual closing of the ad. Also, having the same ad come up over and over is enough to make me stop for a while no matter how addicting! After the first 5 minutes I was looking for a payment area to opt out of this annoying feature. Keep up the great work, more of us like word games than makers realize I think. And again...please let us pay to opt out of the advertisements!!

I love this game, like absolutely love it. The only thing besides the ridiculous amount of ads, is that they don't give you new levels enough. You have to wait a month to get only 30 new levels on the updates. Also, the 5 day star challenge just reset itself back to day 1 when I would've been on day 4 today so I have to start all over. Super aggravating. Especially when they don't give you enough levels to even get all 5 days. Pretty much don't waste your time trying to complete it bc they'll disappoint you every time. If you don't want to see a 30 second ad after EVERY game, this game isn't for you.

I enjoy WordCookiesCross. However, the ads are so frustrating. It seems like the close add button is purposefully right below the hint button, and a lot of times, when I try to click it, I accidentally buy a hint. Also, it always says “don’t miss the chance to watch a video and get coins” when that literally shows up all the time, so you’re not missing anything because it will most likely show up again in two levels. Also it won’t go away unless you actually watch the video. And when you report ads for showing up repeatedly it just keeps showing up! The ads seriously are so frustrating and need to stop because they’re ruining my experience of the game.

This game is great; lots of fun. Some common words aren’t registered as actual words, however, and are counted as completely incorrect which is a bit annoying, but it’s not too frequent. My biggest problem with this game is the ads. There is literally an ad every level. An extremely long ad, I might add. Most are unskippable. And as of recent, there’s an additional ad everytime you switch out of WordCookiesCross , which is ridiculous. Next level? Another 30 seconds. Answer a text message? Another 30 seconds. Switch to your music for a sec? You get the point. I spend way more time being force fed horrible ads for other games than I do playing this one.

If you enjoyed Word Cookies you won’t be disappointed in this! The crossword style makes it easier to deduce words, but is just as fun. If a word does get you stumped, there’s hints that can be earned whilst playing, purchased, or received for watching an ad. Playtime is at your own pace; there are no restrictions or timed / purchased unlocks. The UI is simple, pleasant, and even has a few free themes to choose from to celebrate the holidays.

The downside is that, as it’s a newer game, there aren’t many levels released yet. But, with every update comes more. Additionally some of the ads can crash the game. And the ad for a dragon hatching game often doesn’t allow you to exit.

I’m playing the 8 letters on Word Cookie 2. I tap the gift to watch the video. After watching the video it has been freezing up. I’m not able to continue and I have to shut my iPad off completely, then turn it back on. I also loose my 30 points by having to do this. Please fix the problem. I only gave 4 stars due to this problem. I don’t have this problem with other games. I have tried to play again. This problem still exists. I have lost 90 points!!! This is very frustrating!!! Now I tried again. I tapped WATCH for the Video, it wouldn’t work. I’m about ready to give up on this game. Very disappointed!!!

The game has fun ways to earn extra points and little side games to enhance the game. Most games do not offer diversity like this one. Makes it more fun. I would have readily given it a five if it weren’t for some glitches. To start, I don’t know what the purpose of the stars are and when I earn some letters they don’t disappear. They are visible on following games. Sometimes I get butterflies to earn additional points, but am not given the additional points after earning them. Sort of takes some of the fun out of the game. It is special compared to other word games without the diversity that this one has.

This game is awesome! I play it when I’m bored or at night to help me relax and get sleepy. It’s challenging but not so difficult that you get frustrated and don’t want to play anymore. I like the levels it has and that you get multiple opportunities to earn coins to help give you hints for words when you get stuck. I have Word Cookies 1 & 2 and love them both. Definitely one of the games I recommend to others. I also love that it’s a $1.99 in app feature to go ad free. I did purchase ad free but not anything else. Of all the games I have tried, these are by far my favorite.

I’m greatly enjoying this game because it’s helping to ‘re-wire’ my brain. I suffered a traumatic brain 3 months ago by falling and hitting my head face on to my driveway. Very fortunately, I suffered no fractures. However, I did have a few lacerations, a concussion and two brain bleeds from my brain moving back and forth in my skull when hitting the cement. I spent a total of two months in hospital and skilled nursing care center. I’m very lucky to be alive.

This game is one of my easy therapies to get my brain pathways going the way they used to. At first your game was incredibly difficult for me but after a couple of weeks it became fun and quick, the way it should be. Thank you for developing such a good therapeutic game, and please keep developing more. It’s a whole lot more fun than being in yet another therapeutic setting.

I got into WordCookiesCross to build my memory vocabulary up from nearly the ground! I am recovering from a Traumatic Brain Injury where I am missing portions of my brain 🧠 due to the fact I had surgery to remove the dead portions! A bit of what died was my vocabulary (which was above average” before the injury! It comes down to the point where given a limited amount of letters gives me the creativity factor to recreate/ remember words that were known! I must say I nearly gave up on this game but I realized that giving up never pays off! Thank God a comma couldn’t hold me back and a game like this is available for good reasons!

Just like the original Word Cookies, your goal is to find all of the words in the crossword by using the letters given to you. The developers have made it more challenging by requiring you to find specific words at specific times to get extra points in certain levels. In addition, some levels contain “star” words and if you spell the word, all of the letters in the word appear on the board where other words use those letters. (It sounds confusing, but it’s not). The point is that this is another great word search game.

Thank you for adding more levels. Love the game and now I can continue! Still love it but I typed in the correct word ten times and was refused. Then I hit the hint button 4 times and the word that had been refused showed up as correct!!!!! Made me mad!!! It just happened again!!! Why??? Still love it and almost finished all the extras. Hope there will be more. I will repeat if not, I guess. I am doing the the last 4groups again but found when I look back every one has a. Word missing! I pit it in and when I look again it is missing again??? What and why? Still fun

It is fun to play this game for several reasons. The first is that the themes are fun to do. The second is that the game levels start at an easy enough level that you could play with a first grader. The child can learn in a fun way and be unaware that he is doing so. An adult partner, meanwhile, can be doing the higher levels without becoming bored. The eight letter level is a challenge and there will be some new words to learn. Third, it is easy to stop a game at any point and go right back to it at another time.

I enjoyed playing word cookies one but this is pretty much like a cheat! It’s so much easier and much better than the first. If you like spelling I highly recommend you download WordCookiesCross. It is a blast and I really think that this company should make a lot more puzzles. They make a couple like hexablocks. I had that game and loved it but I unfortunately had to delete it due to space. I recommend you get this game for downtime. It’s not too addicting so I suggest you get it for when your bored!

If you ever played just word cookies two than you for sure love word cookies two. I have three favorite things about this game. #1, if you get a word in the star box unattached from the other boxes than you get free hints and I mean it! #2, it’s a crossword puzzle and I LOVE crossword puzzles because if your stuck on a word you might have letters that crosses the word and it gives you free hints as well. #3, there is completely no ads but I don’t know if it’s just on my IPad or it’s on everyone’s electronic but I have zero ads. There is actually a number 4 and I forgot to tell ya’ll lol. #4, the butterfly levels where you have to catch the butterfly is so easy because it’s, again, a crossword puzzle so you can think about “Oh this word will go here and that word will go here so the butterfly word is this word ok cool imma do that word right there and I will get the butterfly, whoo’hoo!” so yea. Ok that’s all I have to say about this game and I wish you enjoy this game as much as I do ( and I hope ya’ll have NO ads) byeeeeee!
