After Paying Subscription, Copious Crashes

After being mildly annoyed that the application uses “dark patterns” to entice children to ask their parent to unlock freemium parts of the app, I reluctantly paid for an annual subscription (~$50).
Now when my child attempts to access newly unlocked modules, the app crashes upon launching those modules.
to further exacerbate the issue: Their in-app support page is entirely in Mandarin and only includes a QRCode. No submission page. No email address. Nothing.

This app does not tell you the cost in its description and that feels manipulative. If you do pay the $30, you find this is confusing and overwhelming for kids in the stated age range. Tested this app for ten minutes and refused a refund. It is a frustrating app from description to subscription
Chinese propaganda

My 4yo daughter was playing with the app this morning and they started talking about the coronavirus and showing scary real-life footage (not cartoon characters) of medical professionals in a chaotic hospital setting wearing masks etc. The app said “most importantly - TRUST CHINA!” I could not believe what I was hearing and seeing. Goes without saying this is completely inappropriate!!
