Crashes in IOS 13.5.1
I have a self signed certificate which isn't a big deal usually, but even after installing the .pem file to my iOS device and trusting the root certificate in Settings, NextcloudTalk refuses to find the server over https. The regular nextcloud iOS app works fine, the talk app on Android works fine, only having problems with the talk app on iOS.
I can no longer connect to the server from NextcloudTalk after the newest update
Looks awesome but the notifications don’t work at all for me. My Android device works fine but my iOS devices don’t have any notifications.
Although the call functionality is nice, it's rather useless without the ability to also view and send text messages, as that's how the majority of people will typically communicate (at least within my use case). No point in migrating to this until that's resolved.
I’m happy to see NextcloudTalk progressing as I’ve seen it go from as spartan as a messenger to possibly get to...a little less spartan? The functionality is great but I never get notifications. You basically have to text your contact and say “hey open up the Talk app so I can message you”...no good. Gets 2 stars for now
I love NextcloudTalk, It has made communication with my family easier (multiple platform users)
However with release version 12 the badge notifications have been broken. I would give a 5 star review but the badge notifications are a huge deal breaker for me.
Can not login with proper credentials due to a csrf failure. Will update review when I figure it out.
This has great potential. It just needs better push support.
Touch ID /Face ID be nice add on
I love NextcloudTalk but the one downside is not being able to set notification sounds. Only the default one that comes on iPhone. So if that one bugs you it’s unfortunate because you can’t change it.
Love how good the video calling part works even with slow internet it seems to remain stable. Now if we get the text option turned on I’d be using NextcloudTalk all the time. I’m just not one for video calling all that much ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Off to a great start but the inability to lock NextcloudTalk behind a passcode and/or Face ID is an automatic disqualification for current usage.
You guys still need to work out the quirks where sometimes you need to leave the call fully and re-join, once that is worked out solid five stars.
App is super useful but it would be nice to have files integration with future releases.

The project the team and community behind Nextcloud is great. NextcloudTalk, although not perfect, is a great addition to what is already an amazing self hosted drop box alternative. I look forward to seeing how it evolves and being a part of it.
Can we get a dark mode?
I can’t login in my Iphone 7 plus, because the LOGIN button is not working.
I tested this bug in Android device too. Android work..
There appears to be a bug when calling. I receive waiting for @user to join call. Calling out from both devices and not receiving calls. Hope this gets fixed soon.
