NFCReaderWriter doesn’t support IPhone 6 series, Very sad.
Not working on my iPhone 8. I've tried different cards and turning on Apple pay, but still nothing.
It works. Only the iPhone 7, iPhone 8 and iPhone X supports reading NFC tags
It works for pairing my Sony A6000 camera to my iPhone 7 Plus. Since the update of the iOS 13 is no longer compatible with WiFi-SSID and password connection I wasn’t able to sync my photos from my camera to my smartphone. I was so close to returning my camera. NFCReaderWriter saved me.
This is one of the better read apps I’ve used, others have odd format issues or can’t read certain data. Most of the bad reviews are from people who have devices that don’t have the physical hardware needed to read NFC, so I’d take most and toss them out. One gripe is that the “main screen” of NFCReaderWriter is different than the pictures shown here, I wish it appeared the same because I prefer the aesthetic of the “scan” bar along the bottom like in the pictures rather than a circle off center on the bottom of the screen, but that’s a minor critique.

Used it for my Sony GTK-XB7 speaker, when the speakers power button stopped working.
NFCReaderWriter crashes when it’s launched in devices that don’t have NFC iPhone 5-6s. That is because Apple didn’t include the CoreNFC framework or at least give the developers a way to prevent the crash.
I use NFCReaderWriter to show my customers information on a brand I work for. NFCReaderWriter is awesome because it will show my retailers details about our products! Traceability at our fingertips. Other brands should use NFCReaderWriter! We would not have to question our food origin. ❤️
