I previously wrote the developer complaining about the lack of a universal subscription. I heard back that they were considering adding that ability. Not only did they add it✅, but when they added it I got a reply to my original email letting me know that they added it. What a great example of superior customer service and follow through.

Those same qualities are obvious in Adblocker . They think about things, pay attention to details and follow through.

I am so happy I downloaded Magic Lasso! I’ve used other ad-blocking apps in the past but none are as efficient as this one. During my test run, I didn’t see a single advertisement or pop-up, and I noticed that the page loading times for Safari have decreased significantly. I definitely recommend this as I am now browsing the web faster than ever with no annoying ads (a millennial’s dream come true! 😜)

Magic Lasso is exactly what I've been looking for. I find my internet to be very very slow at times which makes browsing not as enjoyable. Magic lasso made it so that my internet browsing is not only faster, but I don't have to worry about all the ads popping up. I do a lot of work through my smartphone including class work. This has made it easier for me to do research without any disruption. I will be using magic lasso from now on!

I downloaded Adblocker to get rid of adds and annoying pop ups and redirects and the first day I downloaded it, it worked really well the pop ups went away and I never got redirected to another website but now a week later it does not do those things anymore. It’s like I never even downloaded Adblocker and I have made sure it is activated I've tried turning it on and off in setting in Adblocker but it still doesn’t block adds.

It’s blocking everything. Pop-ups. Pop overs. Auto play adds. Redirects. Display and banner ads.

The only problem I have is that the free version blocks redirects that are from valid address shortening sites. But you can’t have everything for free. It’s the first blocker for my iPad that actually does all of what it says it will do.

So now I’m subscribed.

Perhaps the latest iso update made Adblocker useless? Ive tried updating both, but it no longer works to load pages without content blockers. Is this being rectified?

I really want to like this ad blocker, but it is way too over-aggressive in blocking. One example is you can’t load Wirecutter links. It seems like the only way around this is to pay for premium and get the community whitelist feature. But there is no way to be certain without paying. I’m sticking with a less aggressive blocker for now.

This developer seems to have a problem with their handling of subscriptions. I bought one thinking that it would be universal throughout iPhone, iPad, and Mac. My subscription is active (verified through Settings) and yet Adblocker seems to think I haven’t paid for one. Restoring purchases doesn’t work. Don’t give them any money.

Great app - it blocked ads on every site I tried it on. It works directly with Safari, so you don't have to change browsers. I'll never go back to dealing with ads after downloading this.

I love Adblocker! I've been looking for something to block ads on my phone that make using safari super annoying. Adblocker is simple, easy to use and works great!

Im so excited to finally found an Ad blocker that works with my Iphone. Once you open Adblocker all you need to do is follow the instructions and you can browse the web comfortably and best of all no Ads! yay!!!!😊👏🏼🙌🏻

Many times it blocks links I click on from wirecutter or other news sites. Yes it’s bad that they use scummy trackers, but preventing me from clicking them when I choose to (vs in the background) is really annoying.

Whitelisting is extremely tedious.

Also breaks random pages in places like GitHub that aren’t trackers.

At first it worked very well and I was glad I found an actually ad blocker. But then soon it started to stop working and websites would take me to another website when I didn’t want it to.

Decided to give this a try, and was not impressed. Previously ad-free sites (thanks to the ad blockers I had been using) now had ads all over them using Magic Lasso. Interestingly, most of the new ads were Facebook ads.

I disabled Magic Lasso and went back to my previous ad-block setup.

It works well and the developer is very responsive.

Super frustrating that the whitelist doesn’t work. Have patiently waited for months for it to be fixed. Giving up and looking elsewhere.

Does its thing perfectly.

This does a pretty good job blocking ads, but I find I’m often turning it off, especially since it breaks the Twitter app.

Enabled Adblocker with the content blocker. Updated the list. Still seeing ads.
