If you’re fine with just reading text stories and ignoring pay-bait, it’s great....but I’m someone who’s easily annoyed by constant subscriptions prompts. At least the stories themselves can be finished by watching ads, but you can’t look at any of the pictures or listen to audio files without a paid subscription. Don’t bother downloading; you can find equally creepy stories without video ads and purchase prompts online for free.

So far, so good with the 2 stories that I’ve read. Only thing that I do not like is that I am not able to save any story that I come across. There is not a function to “heart” something or a way to “favorite” a story so that you may come back to it later. For me, that’s so far the only downside. Will that be a soon to be upgrade to AfterDark ?

I think that AfterDark has a very cool concept and I love how it gives users the option of either subscription or 2 ads, which is perfect for those that don’t want to spend real money. Story topics are great. One thing I think should be improved is the actual structure of the stories. They should be written as two people actually texting rather than an actual conversation happening in person. For example, in the “uber after dark” story, the mom stutters when typing some texts. I just think that if the conversations are presented to be more realistic the stories would be even more enjoyable. Again, this is only a suggestion and not made out to be a rude review. Just some thoughts.🙃 thanks again for all of your hard work!👍

So I have the 2.99 subscription it’s says that I don’t have to pay till July 8 but when I start to try n go to the next page of the story it say try and get a subscription but when I click on the subscription it say u already is sign up for this subscription till July 8

Ok, when I read the reviews, I thought this was gonna be awesome, AND IT IS!! I love AfterDark so much!!! But what annoys me is the money we have to spend for sounds and photos. It’s a good deal but why would I want to spend 8 dollars on sounds and/or photos for only a week? I want to listen to them for free, you can, but after 3 Days you HAVE to spend the money. And going to the next part you have to spend money if you wanna see it right away. I was okay at first to watch the ads but now I’m just annoyed. And there’s not many stories and I am already half way through in just one night. But anyways, this is great! I just wish at LEAST the smallest things were free and the rest just one or two dollars cheaper? More people would want to buy it. Anyways, GREAT app! I’m addicted!

It’s really good except two things:
#1 is the ads
#2 is that at the end if you’re not done reading but you accidentally hit the finish button you can’t go back. And that’s very annoying,

So I wanna enjoy the texts but the adds ruen the Mood!
Also I get the same ads OVER AND OVER I’m sick of it!
Overall AfterDark is scary and cool 😎
Btw I wanna play the sounds and see thee pictures but I need to pay that’s not fair

Is a really great app and has lots of great stories but some of the stories end off on major cliff hangers and don’t give a lot of details. Also if you subscribe for a week will you get to read more stories than you can not subscribed? Overall Greta app!

To see the pics you have to pay MONEY FOR PICS it’s really annoying you have to pay every week or month or year it’s really stupid I’m not allowed to get a membership and it’s ju- ugh very very FREKIN DUMP so— if you want to pay then don’t get this game

P.S you have to watch ads sometimes

This game has bone chilling stories and all you have to to to get to the next part is watch two adds but to see pictures or watch videos or hear sounds you need to pay or subscribe so I tried to subscribe but it kept saying Error Error over and over! I was starting to get pretty mad.😡😡😡 so finally I just didn't hear 👂 or see 👀 anything 😭😭😭

I completely love AfterDark! It has addicting stories and I personally LOVE the twists in some of them! And some of them are really intersecting and makes you wonder about it yourself! But I gave it 4 stars because the stories have become a little more blander lately. If you could get back to me on that that would be great! But otherwise I think this is a great app!

I like how addicting the stories are. I also understand that it costs money for making the stories, various costs etc but may I make a suggestion? Is there another way instead of a monthly sub? Maybe a one time full cost of $7.99? And everything open for the stories? I’ve already read one and I really enjoyed it. Thank you in advance!

Ive been looking for a chat story genre esque app that doesnt make me wait 24 hours to read the next part like hooked or yarn. With AfterDark i can just watch an ad or two and get right on with next part of the chat story. Great app! Loving the stories so far.
Suggestion: add some way of organizing which stories ive read already.

The stories in AfterDark might be scary but it is so fun and the best thing is you don’t even have to pay for some of the next scenes you can just watch two ads if you haven’t downloaded this game you need to download it

I use all of the chat story apps and AfterDark is by far the best because 1) they let you choose what stories to read 2) you can read story the whole thing without waiting for a clock timer 3) it has scary sounds in the stories. Other apps have pictures but no sounds! But please add more stories I want to read more!

I just downloaded AfterDark and I’m already HOOKED after one story!
I know I’m always one to read a review and base whether I like it off that, but trust me on this, I’m glad I downloaded AfterDark
, the UI is so easy to use if you’re new to apps like this.

The stories are so cool! The sub. Is super cheap and I think you’ll enjoy it! But I will warn you that this game I certainly not for the faint of heart. Hope hope you like it

I have been using AfterDark for a month now and I appreciate how the stories went from 10 to now 30. I'll keep reading as long as you keep putting more stories out there thank you

I love AfterDark. It has thrilling and horror stories some can say things that aren’t very kid friendly. But I find a different story. I don’t like that we have to watch two ads to continue to the next chapter but these stories are very addicting to read

I looked all over the place to find the right app so I didn’t need to pay for things well I mean u still have to but u just have to watch 2 adds and then u can read the rest of the story!

This is the worst story chat app ever! Every time I try to see the pictures, it tells me that I have to subscribe and pay. I don’t understand why I have to subscribe and sign up when y’all have made it pretty clear that we didn’t have to sign up for anything. Also, I can’t even get past the 1st chapter in any of the stories without paying. I wouldn’t recommend AfterDark to anybody. I am very disappointed.

I like AfterDark a lot but i also like yarn. I have played with other chat story apps but these two are the best so far in my opinion at least.
