I have played this game for years and spent quite a bit on in game purchases but due to increasingly poor levels I’m considering leaving the game. An upgrade several weeks left several players unattached from their accounts for weeks with several losing their accounts never to return. In the latest debacle after Halloween event, I’ve been able to use in game shop to collect daily rewards or make purchases. I’m going through support group who has alternated between telling me there is nothing wrong, to wait for the update because that will fix it or delete and reinstall. 16 + days later and no fix. Deleted and reinstalled multiple times and updated. Support is basically ghosting me but that’s it all bad because it keeps me from spending money on their game.

You can find plenty of reviews talking about the update from years ago that reduced the amount of strategic options in the game and turned it into a p2w fest. What most reviews don't mention is that the game is constantly riddled with bugs. A few months ago there was a review that locked numerous players (myself included) out of their accounts for upwards of a month. Support was incredibly slow in responding and many players quit. So this old game that started as a unique entry in mobile card gaming has become less than a shell of its former self and that is disappointing.

Prior to v2, I would have given this game 4.5 stars. It was a highly enjoyable little game.

With the advent of v2, they ruined the game. It now requires extremely rare components to level up cards (I’ve been raiding the last week and gotten exactly 0 purple components). They also switched the game to 90% luck with the addition of spells (you get a choice from random 3 each round but some are way better than others) and crits (it’s impossible to plan for if/when a small % chance will come up).

Unless things are fixed soon, I’m done with this game (and I’ve spent money on it in the past).
