SkinMotion used to work great. now they take your $$$ and it doesn’t work at all. Sad really. It’s a near concept.

I understand the realities of business, but I never would have gotten this tattoo if I knew what a small and poorly funded operation this was. It was incredibly irresponsible and uncool for other people for you to launch a company like this when you didn’t have the ability to keep it going. I have a tattoo on my actual arm that I can’t play back and explain to people. What the heck am I supposed to do now?

Tried from multiple phones and I keep getting a message saying there is no internet connection when there is.

I can’t even open SkinMotion with it not functioning at all. It force shut downs itself constantly. I’m just left with a blue screen

app stopped working

Haven’t had my tattoo for even a year and my app is already not working. It somehow lost the image of my tattoo and now won’t work. I’m talking with customer service about this issue but so far no resolution. Luckily my tattoo itself is an amazing design so even if it doesn’t play ever again I still love it, but since this is why I went with the soundwave tattoo idea (to actually be able to play it) I’m going to be upset if I can’t actually do that. So far not pleased.

What an awesome idea. Got my tattoo artist registered and everything worked out great. I think SkinMotion could use some work, however. It seems to take quite a while to load. Would be nice if it could somehow read the wave faster. Could just be my phone... Also, the ability to change the color of the waveform while viewing would be a nice option. Lastly, I wish the format and the design was a bit sleeker! Maybe an option to change the loading screen and camera screen to just black borders?

I hope you guys continue to work on SkinMotion! Totally glad I came across it :)

As an artist it is indeed a wonderful idea that I get to help people find some closure with some things that they never actually got! My husband had the honor of getting a tattoo of our son's laugh. He died when he was 7 months old and we miss him so much. This tattoo is an amazing way to hear that laugh and see a visual representation of those sounds. Thank you for what you are doing. This is an awesome use of technology!

If you like tattoos I highly recommend getting one! I saw this on Facebook and ended up getting a tattoo of my moms voice. Whenever I show my tattoo to people they’re amazed that SkinMotion can play the audio back and show it too! Uploading the audio, finding an artist, and playing the tattoo is super easy. I have been struggling with my moms passing this year and I wasn’t sure how I was going to cope with it. I remembered seeing something about this a few years ago and I had some voicemails from her. I spliced them together to make one sound wave and it sounds AMAZING! I had a lot of technical issues and these guys were AWESOME... they tackled every problem I had and got it working. There is just no way to ever show how grateful I am!! Thank you!!!

I Love Love Love my Soundwave tattoo. I got it just in time for my moms birthday. She passed away earlier this year and it’s been really really heartbreaking not having her around. Looking at her picture is not the same as actually hearing her voice. I love that I can glance down at my arm and see the sound wave of my mom saying hi and that she loves me. It’s so bittersweet. Thank you for making this so special. SkinMotion works great and I can’t wait to show this to my family on my moms birthday!

My mom passed away in May 2019. I knew I had a voicemail from her and I thought this system was amazing! There wasn’t a registered artist in my area, but I bought the subscription and had the tattoo made from the template I received from skin motion. Tattoo finished and picture uploaded. I got the activation email and tested my tattoo and it worked flawlessly. This tat is deeply personal and my unique way of remembering my mom! Thanks this app!

My son passed away a little over a year ago. I have Facebook videos and a live picture that have his voice but I’ve always been worried they would be deleted. With the help of Nate and Skin Motion my sons voice is with me every where I go!
