I’ve been logging my internship hours on a piece of paper (time in, time out, lunch start, lunch end... plus name of preceptor working that day) and it’s such a pain to keep track of! Not to mention calculating the hours which was what led to me searching for a work tracker app to begin with! I love how simple and easy this one is compared to other apps. Just wish there was an option to add notes to each date... I know it would probably take away from the simplicity of it all, but maybe there could be a toggle option in the settings or something for notes (or any other feature!). That way users could control how “simple” their main page would actually look.
UPDATE—— DON’t WASTE YOUR TIME!
I spoke too soon with my review yesterday. Been trying to input my logged hours and running into so many issues already. HoursTimesheet is glitchy. It doesn’t save data properly. Every time I switch between different weeks, the numbers on my break times change to the same clock-out time twice, instead of a clock-out/clock-in from lunch. Not to mention the math in the hours calculator isn’t consistent. Sometimes it will calculate my break into the hours, sometimes it doesn’t. And also just realized the last update was over a year ago! Doesn’t seem like they make frequent attempts to fix issues for their users at all.

I tried to contact the developer but keep getting redirected to a twitter log-in page. HoursTimesheet keeps on zeroing out all my breaks when I go back into it the next day. I have successfully added them and all finally calculates correctly only to go in the next day and all my breaks have been zeroed again. Open to changing my review if developer contacts me.

I like the simple format of HoursTimesheet. However, I noticed that shortly after exiting HoursTimesheet , when I would go back in, my breaks would only show the start time, and would have the same time for the finish time. So I went back and deleted them all and entered all my lunch breaks for the week a second time. It seemed to work, but I just went to HoursTimesheet again after about 12 hours and all of my lunch breaks again have the same start and finish time, therefore making my total time for the week completely inaccurate. I am using iOS 12.1.4. I had to start using another app that seems to be accurate so far.

Nice try however every time you add a break into the calculation it’s only good for a one time use then defaults the break out time to the in time. This causes you to have to input the time again for another one time use. The display of the break screen is also merged with the selectable times making it difficult to select the time. Other than that it would be very useful.

I thought HoursTimesheet would work well for tracking my hours, at work we use paper time cards and I always forget to fill them out. The “break” function is bogus, HoursTimesheet doesn’t save breaks. while I could just subtract 5 hours on my own, kinda defeats the purpose of using HoursTimesheet to track everything. I’ll probably delete it 👎🏼

It was a great app until they tampered with it. Now to clock in I have to manually apply the time of my clock out and clock in instead of the usual tap the real time stamp. Also stopped tallying the total hours and the total pay for the week. I sure hope they get that fixed otherwise I’ll be moving to a different app.

I use HoursTimesheet to keep track of my hours as it’s important I don’t go over 40hrs a week. Every single time I use HoursTimesheet I notice my break times have been changed. I break from 1:00-1:30 but every single time I close HoursTimesheet and re-open it says 1:00-1:00. This could put me over my allotted work hours If I don’t catch it. I’m sick of fixing my break times numerous times a day. Will be uninstalling and finding a more accurate tracker.

I’ve used HoursTimesheet for going on 2 weeks now for my husband. I’ve found that it is not formatted well for the iPhone XS Max and therefore I cannot input times for things like breaks. Aside from that, I enjoyed it. That is, until I found out that it apparently doesn’t save previous weeks times (I went back a week and it was a clean slate after I had input hours each day AND saved..), and then I found out that when I went back to this current week it cleared out those times as well due to me going back.
This is NOT helpful to me at all. I was able to get past the part where I was unable to put break times because I can calculate out 5 hours a week. But to not keep previous weeks? AND to clear out hours when I went back for this week? Wow. 😒

I can put in my hours for the week but there is an issue. When I try to look back at previous weeks the total amount of hours does not change. It is stuck at my current weeks hours. So it’s really only good for calculating the current weeks but not to see previous week hours worked

HoursTimesheet would be perfect if they’d make the ios11 update... unfortunately there are a few bugs. I set my times and once I reopen HoursTimesheet my times are set to something else. When setting the break times other screens are present in the background making it a bit difficult to select the actual time. Is it possible to fix this?

I’m not sure it’s a bug or I use incorrectly. When I add break time it successfully added in that moment. However, when I closed app and re-open, break time will changed to 1-1hour which mean zero for break time . So it’s hard to see actual work time. Hope it will be improved.

My coworkers recommended HoursTimesheet to me and it was working well. But it doesn’t save my break times so if I want to see the actual hours I worked when I open HoursTimesheet I have to put them in again. It’s super inconvenient and takes way too much time. It’s a simple feature that should be saved.

Not bad but Time Card Calculator - Time Clock was better but developer never updated for iOS 11. Some annoying bugs with this one that knock it down 2 stars. Has potential but with a little more work would be flawless.
1) When adding breaks the dial in which you choose your break in/out time doesn’t blank out the “recent breaks” section. Can be really hard to see the time you’re trying to select.
2) Breaks don’t stick when you close HoursTimesheet . Breaks get reset to whatever your break out is. So if I break out at 9am the break in gets set to 9am as well.
3) Would be nice to have a Total Hours section broken down in decimals and in hr & min. This would make it easier to calculate how many more hours one has left in the week.

So far, if I leave the week or close HoursTimesheet , the end time of my breaks switches to the start time time, which is to say, my breaks change to zero minutes long.

I like HoursTimesheet to keep track of my hours. But my breaks keep changing.. example break is set for 12:00- 12:30.. exit out of app and go back my break time is 12:00-12:00.. it’s getting very frustrating.

1. the “breaks” is bit confusing when you worked a long shift or a double.
2. when i work an over night is takes my house to the negatives. say, i put in “8pm-2am” it, takes 18 hours out of my pay. guess is takes it as another whole day 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️ but please fix
3. wish the time would select by it self instead of hiting “select time” everytime. thats not a big problem tho.
just this lil problems would change my rating to a 5 if they were fixed. other than that HoursTimesheet is great like the title say. especially how u get to see each week instead of just redeleting. thanks for HoursTimesheet!

I keep track of my own hours for my 1099. Loving it except I can’t print. Or see in one full page but other then that it helps me sooo much

I really love HoursTimesheet . It’s super simple and user friendly. But I wish to be able to change the work week, (ie Wednesday to Wednesday) or start the work week and any day. PLEASE UPDATE. I will continue using 🙂

HoursTimesheet is absolutely perfect EXCEPT you can not remove breaks from the list once added 🤦♀️ and unlike the timesheet area the breaks default on “AM” so I put my break in for 1:27 PM to 2:05 PM and it comes up as 1:27 AM because I forgot to toggle the am to pm. I can’t delete the time or change it. I do not have a consistent break time so I’m going to end up with 100’s of different break times 🤯. That’s just a nuisance, I even checked for a paid option to fix it but nothing. As soon as I find another app even if I have to pay for it, that let’s me add specific break times and not just the amount of time the break was. I’m kicking HoursTimesheet HARD to the curb.

This is an awesome app for people like me who only have to track time in and time out. It has breaks, too, which is handy for the rare occasions when you actually do take a measurable break.

HoursTimesheet DOES NOT WORK. I put in my start time, add my stop time, add my break, all my info is gone now. Okay, maybe my order is off, put in my start time, break time then end time. All info is gone. I figure it was because I was trying to add future time so I tried entering my previous weeks hours, plus thought I’d add my pay info to see how that feature works. Nope, now NOTHING saves. Not my start times, not any times. Don’t waste your time with HoursTimesheet.
