Phaze: Before > After Photos Reviews

I was super excited to use Phaze to document my house build. My husband and I are the general contractors and wanted a way to track progress on every aspect of our build. From the exterior to every interior room. I first downloaded Phaze close to a year a when we started the planning progress and got familiar with it. Now that we’ve staked out the house site, I decided to start documenting FINALLY. Two weeks ago I took our first photos. It was great. Went today and took a second set...then I was prompted to update my app. Big mistake!! Now it’s subscription based?! Now you want me to pay $20 a month to get past taking pictures. I know it’s not a large sum but a house building can take a year...that’s a lot to spend on one little app. I can’t even toggle to the last photo taken for reference, only the silhouette screen (which is amazing, but more detail of the original helps). I know Phaze is meant for builders and construction businesses, but regular people building and documenting new homes or remodels would love to have access to all the fun little details that drew me in, with costing a ton! I’m disappointed. I’ve been so excited to use this and now it’s just not what I expected. From what I CAN see, it’s a great app though.

We have been using the this app app for over a year now. It is honestly one of the best tools we use for marketing. Phaze allows you to take multiple progress shots of a project from the same exact angle. Each time you update the project, there is a ghost image that helps you keep all pictures within the same frame. At the end of the project, you have this incredible time lapse from start to finish. Additionally, it keeps a log of the project from video updates, to picture documentation. It is super easy to use and you can have multiple files per project. We highly recommend Phaze to everyone. This is one of the best Apps I have ever used. For my line of work everyone always wants to see the before and afters. this app takes it a step further and let’s you capture the entire process throughout. It’s a great feature for any project.
this app is super simple to use and get the hang of. Took me no more then a minute to understand Phaze . I have used it for quite a few projects and my clients really enjoy seeing the process as well.
I have show perspective clients other projects by using this app and that is a huge selling point.
Pictures are everything, but capturing the process is the real ticket.

We’ve been using Phaze for a couple years now it is continuously getting better! We’ve been able to incorporate the video’s made with Phaze in to our sales meetings showing possible clients our process and what separates us from others. There are now yard signs which have been great for us for exposure to neighbors in the areas we are working because each sign has a custom link they can follow along with the process of the build! Couldn’t recommend Phaze more!!

Love Phaze! We’ve been using it on all of our remodel projects. The ease of simply taking pictures without the need for a tripod is great. Ghost feature reminds you exactly where to take the picture so the final product is flawless.
It’s a great way to showcase all of the hard work that goes into our projects.
We have ability to send a link to potential clients to “show off” our work.
I highly recommend this to ALL contractors.

I send a Project this app update to my customers every chance I get and they love it. They are able to see the difference and even share it with their friends and family. If you are on Social Media it's a perfect way to share vs having to show simple before and after shots. Customer service is great too! They will help you use Phaze if you have trouble with it.

The this app App is a great way to show current and potential clients a time lapse and process of our projects. There are so many ways to share the project as well. Designed to work with many other platforms and integrates well with Instagram for daily posts or stories. It’s easy to navigate and works well. I’ve used it on a few jobs now and will continue to use it for my portfolio.

My contractor used Phaze while remodeling my kitchen. I was away on vacation but felt I was part of the process the entire time! My contractor sent me one link that I could always use to check to see the status of my kitchen. I was able to share the job with my friends too!

Majority of my business comes from advertising on social media. Before and after pics are the best way to show each step of the job. Since this app app came out it made the before and after process so much easier for me to do. I really like the detail that was put into making Phaze and would recommend it to anyone.

User interface needs some work and a bit of cleaning up. I would like to see support for portrait photos as well as ability to take more than 4 photos for a single job. Other than that, nice app.

I am huge fan of this app, it has summed up all the before and after photos making my job so much easier! It allows contractors to show case their work in a simple effect way that is relevant to today’s marketing strategies.
I mean your already there... all you have to do is take photos ... and a video if you want :)

I was lucky enough to be one of the first to use the this app app and the results speak for themselves!! I love being able to showcase the process of our work before, during and after without setting up a camera and editing a time lapse. I highly recommend any contractor to download and utilize Phaze, you'll be amazed!

So much time and thought has gone into Phaze! It makes it so easy for me as a contractor to share with my current or future customers the process or phazes of what we do. I am able to take some pretty cool timelapse videos over the course of however long it takes to complete a project, and all with my cell phone!!

Phaze is geared for the quality contractor. It helps me show the value in how we build our projects. Helps me manage my portfolio, and helps the nosey neighbor know what’s going on in with the project we’re building.

It’s way more than a time lapse before/after photo app.

This thing is amazing ! I finally have something right on my phone to help document all of our remodeling projects from start to finish. The best part is showing the clients or inspectors the progress of the project after it is all finished.

We love this app! As a contractor showing our past work to potential clients is extremely important. With this app we are able to show them step by step what our process is. Customer service has been excellent and Phaze is extremely easy to use.

This is a fantastic marketing tool for any contractor wanting to do time lapse photography and video showing off the transformations of their projects. We are using Phaze now and can’t wait to finish some projects to show them off.

I’ve enjoyed using this new app on all our job sites! Chronicling the construction progress is easy and fun with Phaze! There is no need for fancy cameras. All I have to remember to bring is my phone. The ghost image is extremely helpful!
