MotdujourDailyFrenchapp is for French speakers who want to expand their vocabulary. Not useful to me and I’m sorry I bought a year’s subscription.

It’s just a word per day but somehow it’s loaded with ads asking for subscriptions

I just started MotdujourDailyFrenchapp to learn some new words in French during conversations since I am an intermediate learner. I selected beginner at the start. The words are good, but I have yet to find an actual translation for the words. I wouldn’t recommend MotdujourDailyFrenchapp for beginners just trying to learn some basic terms.

I already subscribed for 1 year but ads are still coming up and i cant use the premium functions (lik 'En savoir plus')

Have only gone about five days with “mot du jour” but so far do not find it useful. The words presented thus far are archaic or not in common usage. Is the idea to show you words that even your French friends don’t know, like “ferir”? I fail to see the point. Will be deleting MotdujourDailyFrenchapp unless more useful vocabulary pops up.

Wish MotdujourDailyFrenchapp would give the gender of nouns. The definitions given don’t really help clarify the meaning of the words (unless it’s just that my French is that rusty).

I like to learn a little French everyday. I
would say these are an intermediate level.
It is a good fast lesson.👍

I am just under the intermediate level and
some of the words are too hard. I get
frustrated when they aren’t in my
dictionary.

What happened to the pronunciation and
French voice. It doesn’t sound like French???

The application offers a definition, an example, and the correct
pronunciation. The etymology is missing.

Simple but effective. Choose favorite words through heart icon and have a dictionary of intriguing and/or hard-to-remember words. Full phrases would be a welcome addition.

As an intermediate French learner I find the level just right. When I don’t understand the definition the “regarder sur google” feature looks after me. If you are a native French speaker this might be too lite for you.
