Pixel Sword Fish io Reviews

I was already hesitant to spend money because I’ve already had an account on two previous phones that I can’t get into and all 3 accounts now I have made purchases and the first 2 I had gotten to 99,000 star swordfish’s. I saw a pack for 72% off or something and I spent $4.99 that I thought I saw as 8x star earning, +5 starting level, and 6000 stars. I did get the 6000 stars. However, in the store it says I only have a 2x star multiplier now which I think I’m getting but not the 8x and if I misread it then whatever that’s fine. But I’m not getting the +5 starting level and i thought it said about no ads too but thought maybe I was wrong so I purchased that separately and just feel jipped that it isn’t working when I was hesitant in the first place since I’ve already put money into this game multiple times.

Would increase/ change review if this was fixed because otherwise love the game obviously it’s been worth putting money into. But there isn’t even a contact section I can find anywhere in the game unless it’s just me.

I downloaded this game in 2019, i played it for a few weeks then got bored of it and eventually uninstalled it. A few days ago i wanted to play that game again but couldn’t find it anywhere.

I came across this game and noticed it looked much different, it wasn’t a swordfish game before, it took on the theme of being an amoeba or plankton hunting other plankton creatures, the more plankton i killed the more advanced i’d become. it eventually became competitive and the online segment had no players in it. So the customizations are different first off, in the old game you could have jaws, fins and boosters, none of that exist anymore. i also think there was a function of sucking in vegetation with a tube, i can’t remember though.

i just want to know if this is that game since they’re both extremely similar in design, or if they’re two different games thatre similar to each other.

The game is great don’t get me wrong if the stuff I’m about to say was added it would be 5/5. So 1 it’s a pay game yet no way to sync your account and save your stuff you rip people off who accidentally delete the game and spent money on stars or upgrades. 2 the ads they’re are way to many try interrupt the games during mid match even delaying my spawn time for how much I see people spending on the level ups in this game there is not a need for that many ads to pop up I have had 3 pop up at once before it’s ridiculous and needs to be fixed. So the jist of it is make a way to sync your account to something and drop the ad amount and this game will be A ok.

Also one other thing the game is not really multiplayer fix it .io stop lying to your community it’s low and sad that you do and don’t say it is multiplayer because I get 30+kills in arena 7 in classic and no one else passes 20 kills in a area that high the player skill should be higher FIX THE GAME

Honestly, this game is really fun, but the progression system needs a lot of work.

Since it takes a path different from most .io games, and tries for a more permanent progression system, it makes it really hard for new players to get in. In order to get trophies, you need to get at least 5 kills in a match or you will automatically loose trophies. This is really hard where you have a tiny fish in a really fast paced game where sometimes you die immediately several games in a row and loose all your trophies. Trophies aren’t used to buy new fish, so you can still upgrade, but it’s really annoying to feel like you’re loosing just for playing the game and not being the best every single round in a row.

The actual gameplay is great. It’s fast paced and simple, but there is a certain pay to win aspect because of the super powerful nature of upgraded fish that you can either grind for, or simply buy currency and purchase early.

I like survival and all the game modes they have on this game. I wish in survival there were 100 people instead of 50. That would make it much more fun. One thing I’ve noticed is some players have the same names. Which I think is weird because I play online. Something else you could add are like how when you get to arena 18 it gets boring. So, you could add Pro arena 1, Pro arena 2, and so on. Please reply and tell me what you think. Oh, and also if you decide to put 100 players instead of 50, can you make the arena bigger? Thanks.

After a few days making this, I have noticed some things. There are A LOT of people who’s names are pixel sword fish. I think we are being ripped off and having to play against ai when we’re playing online. If this is true, please change so we can play real people. After this message I rate this game 3 stars. If this message is true and is not fixed, I will put down my rating for this game. Please read and tell me who are we playing against in online. Real people or ai? In kill the king, why do you start out playing with like 6 kills. You should start out with 0 and when your king, keep getting kill and adding to your points. I will add to this review once I have seen something weird, or something bad happens.

Good game overall. However, this game has the 1 of the slowest character upgrade progressions I’ve ever seen. The main in game currency is stars. You get them by killing other players and popping balloons. You get 2 to 3 stars per kill unless it’s the king in which case u get several. That on its own is fine. The bad part is that other players can just steal your stars before u can grab them. On top of that the things you buy with them cost 1,500 stars minimum. That’s just for the cheap customization items. Other customizations can cost 5,000. Any swordfish worth getting is gonna be from 10,000 to 99,000 stars. Not all swordfish cost that much, just the 1s your gonna wanna actually get. It would take forever to save enough stars to buy 1 of the good swordfish. Which is ever worse because of the amount of ads. This can be fixed a few ways. The simplest is to just make stuff a decent amount cheaper to buy. Another way that would take more work to implement would be to make it so you just automatically get the stars after a kill and they give way more stars per kill. Good over all but to many ads and way to slow progress.

I’ve been playing your game for over a month, and it has been one of my favorite games to play. Earlier today, my game froze during a game. (Either classic, survival, or team) I restarted the game, but the problem arose again in seconds. This happened repeatedly, so I eventually decided to reinstall the game, under the assumption that my progress would be saved in GameCenter. To my dismay, this was not the case. This made me feel pretty terrible, since I was almost in the top arena and had claimed almost all of the daily rewards. It seems to me like there should’ve been some sort of warning that the game progress is only saved locally. Aside from this glitch and the problem with reinstalling, this has been a good game to play, aside from being able to buy your way through the game, so I hope you fix these problems so that others don’t have to experience them. Also, your report email doesn’t work, so you might want to fix that.

I love this game and cannot say anything bad about it EXCEPT that for some reason all of a sudden it wouldn’t restore my purchases on my iPhone 15 Pro Max. Maybe it’s an Apple problem. I’m not sure bcuz I didn’t play Pixel Swordfish for a gap of time. Once some time passes tho - I go back to my older games again. Also I think it would be very nice of the creators to give us more ways to obtain the green gems! Bcuz all the cool swordfish cost a lot of green gems, and it takes QUITE some time to build them up! Thank you for making stars come out of the balloons when we pop them! That DEFINITELY helps build up stars in a sufficiently in order to buy some of the better swordfish! Also, I have to say that the VIP cost is pretty high! I would buy it if it wasn’t such an extraordinarily high price. I have to pay my bills and wouldn’t be able to if I bought VIP! How would THAT look!!! Lol!

This game is really fun, it’s got the high paced action and pressure with a little bit of a twist from most .io games. I think this is great and all but I’m in Arena 18 and one of the most annoying is when you’re the king/ person with most kills and whatnot and some one spawns on top of you and then can stay there until one of you move and you’re dead. Or there’s also the case where your sword thing is really big and small fish can swim right through and then get you, and then you’re greeted by the ads that can be annoying some times. There’s only a few problems with the ads, one being there’s a lot, two being some pop up when you’re in a game, and three, well this isn’t a problem but this game is fun and definitely addictive when you’re high up in skills. Oh and one more thing, there should be some type of leaderboard that has seasons and after every season the top players get this and so on and so and so on.

So I started playing this game and it seemed fun at first, but I came across many issues. First off is ads, so usually u would get ads after losing 1-3 times, but imagine first game u died due to someone being right next to u after you spawned, next game u died to a glitch, **ad** then imagine repeating the process over and over again. You keep getting ads simply because of glitches or unfair gameplay. It’s really annoying, I understand the developers need the money, but if you can please lower the rate of ads it would save a lot of time. Next issue is people with god slithers in lower arenas, I find this very annoying as players with 1-3 swords constantly die while those with 10-20 swords just have fun killing us also it ends up with them spinning and killing all of us I’ll get to that later. Another issue is spawn protection, although as important is it is it causes many issues and bugs. Like being inside another player, etc. also another issue I find is that sometimes you’re able to go through somebody’s sword without dying which u can see where that leads. Another issue is high level players spinning. Yes basically they spin and they are unkillable because there is swords on all sides, especially in kill the king. Thanks that’s it for now.

It’s very enjoyable and addictive, and has great protection against cheaters. I found a glitch and a problem, the glitch is that sometimes a player will be able to go through your tusk without dying, or they can turn around and kill you instead. My problem is that I want to restart, I’ve looked all over the internet, nothing has worked, if there is a way to reset the game, it is not very obvious. Also, you get ads every 3 times you die, it isn’t as annoying as ads every single time like I have experienced before, but still quite annoying especially if you’ve just started and get beaten up by the others. Also, I’ve got a glitch where I’m on day 33 and it is frozen and .. wierd.. that is one of the main reasons I’m looking to reset my game data, if that’s possible. Other than that this game is very cool, and I recommend.!

Now, we all know that games like this are fun to play. Wait, what? you DONT like these games? well then, get dunked on. ANYWHO, these games are fun to play, BELIEVE IT OR NOT. But somehow i just noticed this JUST NOW. LIKE, MONTHS AFTER GETTING THIS. So i guess here i am, as a review, constantly looking over myself. GEEZ IM NOT GETTING ON WITH THE POINT. Ok, (scenario time) here i am, downloading the game, gonna get on it for the 1st time (YAAAAAAY) but then i realize, there’s stars you need to collect. Now i’m not saying that game makers shouldn’t advertise about stuff that requires in-game currency, but i’m totally saying that game makers shouldn’t advertise about stuff that requires in-game currency! (now, they could leave something at the end of the video that says “In game currency required” or something) but other than that, i like this game. the graphics are GREAT, so are the skins. I should’ve realized this earlier, but i didn’t.

I love this game. It’s a simple game where each swordfish has to strike each other on the side in a chaotic arena while trying not to be stabbed on the side as well. Its a good game as long as you are ok with getting mad when someone kills you when you spawn. But i, along with almost everyone else, have an issue with the ads. When playing a game, about every 7 lives, once you die it will give you an ad. These advertisements are very annoying because when playing modes such as team battle, you might get an advertisement while playing and it’s torture having to wait knowing your team might need you and instead you are forced to watch League of Legends. But overall, I recommend at least trying it because it is free.

I’ve played this game for a while, and it is one of the best multiplayer .IO games I’ve ever played. It’s challenging, but not to the point where it’s just rage all the time. I think the game should have a lot more multiplayer functions, such as custom 1v1 matches. In my mind, a custom match would include invite only, custom rules (such as toggle respawn and infinite stamina to really make the match your own), and to choose the boundaries as to what fish you can choose. Also I would love to see private matches with other game modes, such as “smash” and “kill the king”. Seeing these types of multiplayer functions would surely shoot this game straight to the top. It would mean a lot if you guys take this into consideration and would really prove your loyalty to the players. Over all great game👍

I got bored of playing the same old games everyday. I searched and searched for a fun game but couldn’t find one until I came across this game. This game mixes competition and .io all together! Remember back in the day when you played Flappy Bird, got to 100 score, and died abruptly. You screamed as you were doing so good. But yet every time you manage to find yourself in yet another try? That is what playing this game feels like. In other words, this nonstop game is sooooo addictive and fun! Don’t even get me started on the fact of skins! There are many skins you can unlock by playing. Some even give a competitive advantage. Finally I like that the game is not money hungry. You can buy stars (in game currency) with real life money but the game doesn’t push on it. You don’t have to pay to have a good time. If you are looking for a competitive game to play with friends, then try this. I will say that if you want to try it, stick with it for a while. First impressions are not as good until you play and understand the greatness in this game I am talking about! Developers, you did an amazing job!

THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST GAMES IN THE WORLD. The only problem is that my friends and I want to play together to show who’s better and other things so I’d really want you guys to add a private game feature or at least a friends feature so that my friends and I can play with each other. Another thing I would want you guys to add, is a ranking system. For example a ranking system to show your amount of trophies or stars, or etc. So that people know that there is a number one player in your game. So if someone has like 1,000,000 trophies they would probably be in first place on the ranking system. That way people can feel good about they’re selves when they are on the leaderboards.

This game is really fun and entertaining, but I could use some improvements. First of all, the arenas do not correlate to the skill level of the player. It seems that once you move up an arena, players seem to stay at the exact same skill level as the arena before. Second, there should be a bigger rewards according to your arena. As you progress, you see a lot more characters with more swords, and it becomes very hard to win with a character with few swords. It would be nice to see an increase in stars as you move up arenas. Finally, it should be less pay to win. While I understand in app purchases are crucial, it is disappointing to see a player who spends a bit of money on the game have an outrageous advantage over other people. Just fixing these things would make the game so much more fun, enjoyable, and addicting. Overall, this is a very great game.

I love this game! This is one of my favorite apps, and I play it everyday! However, it isn’t perfect, and I have a few suggestions:

1. Make it easier to collect stars
Later in the game, the best swordfish cost thousands of stars, and it’s pretty difficult to scrape up enough to purchase a good fish. Maybe adding more ways to get stars or making things a little cheaper would be nice.

2. More social features
Since this is a .io game, you’re often online with other people. It would be a great addition to be able to interact more, like adding a chat feature or friending system.

3. Less adds
I understand that you, the developers, need adds to make money, but maybe a few less adds would be better. Every time I die in the team mode, a video add plays, and it makes it difficult to respawn and help your team.

4. Customization?
A good idea would be, for a certain amount of stars, you could make your own swordfish. For example, there could be different prices for certain amounts of needles. Someone could pay 4000 stars for a two needled swordfish, choose colors, where the needles go, and maybe a small extra price for a trail.

And that’s it! You don’t have to do everything I said, but it would be nice if you did some of them. Thank you for listening, and have a great day!

This game is one of the funnest and most addicting .io games. I have a rare skin (can’t even remember how I got it) that’s really good and I almost always end up winning. But I think this is pretty unfair to other people. I can kill up to like 20 people before I die, and I think about how annoying that must be for them. This is also the case with other people. Sometimes there will be someone who literally is impossible to get to because their spikes are so long, and they cover almost every pixel of the swordfish. It’s then hard to reach the body, and impossible if your spikes are too short. Many end up spawn killing and ruining the game. I’m also worried that people think the same of me. Please protect the swordfish with smaller spikes.

It’s also very hard to get a good skin. Again, I don’t remember how I got mine. But the best skins are so expensive it would take a year at least to get. This is really annoying, and I bet it is especially annoying for people just starting out in the game, getting spawn killed every round. Please, once again, take it a little easier on the little guys.

Lastly, the skins can be a little boring. I would suggest making them look like food or animals, instead of just different colors. Like the one I have kind of looks like a dragon with red wings, but it would be awesome if it actually looked like one.
