It's really outdated that homeSmart doesn't have cloud integration for remote access being a company with this impact on the world. All the suppliers of other products that I use, lights, blinds, entrance gates to the property, alarms, etc., have this created and it is not understood because it does not happen with Ikea.
I have 77 devices connected (Lamps-52, Sonos speakers-6, switches-15, controllers-2, sockets-1 and Gateway-1) to a gateway and when there is an accident I have to configure everything, if it was stored in the cloud, to in addition to being able to access my gateway from abroad via wifi/gsm, when I had to reset, I just connected to my account as I do with my tm google, what's the secret?
We have to follow the best practices that exist in the market and make life easier for customers.
I have a problem with Google home and the advice I was given was to reset the Gateway and reinstall the HomeSmart app, seriously?
Ikea doesn't need to have this delay, everyone is already way ahead of him.
