Picsart Color Reviews

I used PicsartColor a few months ago and found it serviceable. I don't know what's changed, but it's borderline unusable. It pretty much works whenever it wants to. I can't delete projects, but I have at least two different ways of renaming them. I managed to duplicate my blank project I tried to delete twice, leaving me with three projects I can only rename. Now, I can't even copy them; whatever I did to get the dupes doesn't work on command.
There's nowhere I can drag it. There's no "three little dots I can open to see more options. Even selecting the resolution for a new project doesn't respond to my touch half the time. Speaking of touch, my Adonit stylus simply doesn't function. It may start a line, but gives up after 3 seconds.

A tutorial? There isn't one. The site only talks about the photo editor. What little information I managed to find didn't match up with the interface.

This is grossly irresponsible as app development goes. When Notes, Tsyasui, and 53's Paper are easier to use than your drawing app, you've messed up royally. The only reason I haven't deleted PicsartColor is it has 2 projects I want to keep. It's infuriating.

My cousin suggested an app done by the same developer, and I found this.... I looked at it and it seemed pretty cool! Then like, 2 minutes into using it I try to draw a simple line and it’s just so annoying how the opacity is at 100% and that’s what I get! After about 5 to 10 minutes of my mom and I trying to figure it out, the screen is just pitch black for no reason, and I decide to look at PicsartColor again. I noticed it had a rating of 3.5⭐️ and I’m not sure why?? I started to read the reviews and tho I didn’t have it long enough to experience those glitches, I’m glad I deleted it before I could. So, long story short, I got PicsartColor , it sucked(no offense)read the reviews, deleted it, and reviewed it🙂

Idk if this is just me, but I’m really disappointed! I wish I wasn’t, but I am! I first downloaded this because I wanted to have it with my PicsArt, but I soon found that I could barely use it! It’s glitchy and annoying and there is barely any brushes I want to use. I have a cartoony style, I like doing bold lines and nice accents and I can’t with this. I tried for 30 minutes and I couldn’t use it. I was so frustrated.
There is no solid brush for me to make my lines and it is VERY annoying. It’s probably just me, but please take these things into consideration! I live PicsArt, I just wish PicColor was as good!

So I had PicsartColor for a long time like about two years so I had a lot of artwork, I didn't think I had to save them all because they were on PicsartColor . for a week now whenever I go on PicsartColor it just crashes I can’t even get to the gallery page. I click PicsartColor icon it loads then crashes, this has been going on for a week I tried everything. When I first got PicsartColor it occasionally it would crash, but then it got worse it would crash and when I went on it would delete some of my work it was getting worse and worse I started getting new drawing apps but kept it because I really liked how it was designed and it was easy to draw on it and completely free, but now I can’t even get on PicsartColor and I have over 30 drawings on there that I just lost because PicsartColor isn’t working.

Guys, I literally live for PicsartColor!! I started my career from PicsartColor, and is still ongoing. Everything is easy to use, and it saves your work along with the files, so you can always go back to your drawing whenever you want.

The downsides of PicsartColor though...
1. Sometimes PicsartColor freezes and automatically closes. When it closes, it doesn’t save the progress I made so its a bit frustrating. I’ve had a time where I made a whole piece of artwork, and when it crashed, all the progress was gone, it sucked.
2. If you have 32GB on your phone like me, beware, PicsartColor eats your phone storage. I’ve had to delete a few of my artworks on here in order to save space on my phone 😞

I thought it was me at first, that the colors would go away or change in the middle of using a brush but it was happening too often. Then the brush itself started changing or not staying when I try to change to a new one. I knew that wasn’t me because I’d go back-and-forth repeatedly and it would repeatedly switch back to the one I’ve been using before.

It’s been a really long time since I used it and there’s been some great changes like the ability to manipulate the size and spacing of the brushes but if it doesn’t stay the way I set them, what’s the use? Then there’s the color palettes. Learning it doesn’t save permanently between uses is a small comfort for the fact that I can’t save a color at all. You know how it is to spend time getting the color just right, on another spot, return to the original spot and struggle to match the color again. At least when the brush settings save the settings do save during the time using PicsartColor .

I’m not quite sure how to word this seeing that you’re able to color the background color, Though background color is it entirely an option. But for whatever reason when I go to the option to change the background color PicsartColor will not let me scroll up any further so I cannot use the slider to darken the color of my background. If it would be possible for you to raise the sliders up higher to access it, I would greatly appreciate it.

I really love using PicsartColor for my drawings! it’s very easy to use and has a lot of nice options. I do wish there were better brushes for like hair and texture but i can make do with what they do have. However, PicsartColor crashes a lot the more you progress in your art which is very frustrating since it doesnt save what you did since the last crash. I find myself having to delete things i don’t want to just to get PicsartColor to work. It would be nice if it had something to stabilize your brush strokes and making the bucket of paint much easier, like instead of filling partially then when you go to fill it in the rest of the way it changes the color of those next to it make it just fill completely or not change the other colors. Some more blending tools would be great, this is a good app for beginners but as I’m growing as an artist i’d like to continue to use PicsartColor but it’s getting hard to. A stopwatch in PicsartColor to see how long a project takes would be super cool too but isn’t a necessity. I do really like drawing with PicsartColor and do 90% of my drawings in this one but it gets really frustrating and makes me want to find a different app to use. Just fix the crashing and how bad the saving is and I’d probably give it a 4/5 stars.

I love the game it’s fun to draw and everyone loves my drawings the only problem is….. glitches and crashes. NOW YOU LISTEN HERE BECAUSE A BUNCH OF PEOPLE EXPERIENCE THIS! The first glitch is when all the tools go away and you can’t erase or draw or reset so you have to reset PicsartColor . But that isn’t a big deal comparing to the crash time. When I first enter the game after the first glitch I would change the color then erase something and I would just leave and sometimes it just randomly crashes and all my art was not saved THAT IS VERYYYYYY ANNOYING! So PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASSSE, fix these glitches and crashes because their not only annoying me but the annoying other people too. So 🥺🥺🥺

PicsartColor has been great for coloring in my traditional art, and I love using it. It’s been pretty much glitch free, despite what all these other reviews seem to be saying... The worst I’ve ever experienced is PicsartColor crashing rarely and maybe I lose the last few brush strokes I made.
All this aside, though, there is a glaring issue... PicsartColor automatically records your drawing process for each project, and this is a nice feature in theory, however, there is no option to turn it off, or an option to clear the recording of a current project.
PicsartColor is a close second behind apple music to taking up the most storage of all the apps on my phone. Every minute you spend working on a drawing will slowly chew away at your phones memory, and this is especially problematic for bigger projects/slower artists.
Maybe in a future update this recording process could be more streamlined; either storing the recordings on a Picsart account online, or making automatic recordings optional and allowing recordings to be deleted without having to delete the entire project itself.

In conclusion, other than the severe memory usage, I recommend PicsartColor, especially after the exhausting trial and error of trying several subpar drawing apps with half their features locked behind a paywall.

It has everything that I was looking for that normally would only be on a computer app, and as a person without a drawing pad who wants to do digital art this is fantastic! The only things I would want to be different is when you use the fill tool, it leaves this thin outline between the actual outline of the thing being filled and the filling. Also there's this thing where it will freeze out of nowhere. Thankfully the project is still there, but it scares me, you know? If this is fixed, PicsartColor will be everything I'm looking for.

There’s just one thing that made me go to 4 stars. Whenever you put a picture in the project you always have to put in a new picture when you erase on the picture when you should just be able to erase what you’ve drawn on the picture other than the physical picture you put. Also you can have the option since some people may not want to just erase what they’ve drawn

So like my title it’s a good app but also I would please like for there to be layers because they apps with this feature either costs money or you have to pay for this feature so I think PicsartColor would be an amazing feature. The second feature is that you can see the drawings you deleted but in a week all the deleted drawings delete permanently. I understand if you don’t add these features but I’d really appreciate it.

I’m not trying to bride you but if you do add it then I’ll give a 5 star rating.

PicsArt Color Paint is absolutely fantastic and a ton of fun to use!
My only complaints are the following:
- Occasionally the sidebars disappear and I have to close and reopen PicsartColor to fix it, which undoes my last few actions.
- It seems like if I close a sidebar and then open Layers too quickly, it crashes. And every now and then, right after that happens, my Projects refuse to open. I click on one, it won’t open; I click on it more than once, PicsartColor crashes. And refuses to work for...quite a while.

(Don’t mind my name lol-) To whoever is the creator of this well made drawing app, i’ve been on PicsartColor for a couple of months, and I have one teeny tiny problem: when I sometimes try to draw another drawing after drawing one or two drawings or if I use the undo button on the same thing, it takes me out of PicsartColor for some reason. Idk if it’s a bug or glitch, but you can fix it whenever you have the time, no rush! Thanks for reading! :D

I really like PicsartColor, and I think it’s really easy to use... most of the time. My one major problem is that al of a sudden, for some reason, all my brushes have become translucent. This happened a while ago, and I’m at the point to where I’m just asking for help. I checked the brush settings, and I even asked my friend who has had PicsartColor for a while, and nothing. If someone could just PLEASE help me. I would definitely bump it to a five star if I figured this out. Thanks for reading!!

I literally, seriously, am in LOVEEE with PicsartColor. You can do so many things on PicsartColor. You can express yourself in art and make beautiful masterpieces. Just one thing. I wish it kept your new palettes. I made a new palette for a drawing and the colors were perfect! The next day I went to work on my work and I went to palette choices and my new pallets wasn’t there! Then I made another and the same thing happened. So, I just wish they kept your new pallets. Other than that, it’s a great app!!

Ok so I don’t know what these people are talking about because I jest bout PicsartColor last night and it’s amazing I created one piece of art and everything about it is amazing I love it a lot it’s sooooo good that there’s no words to describe it. Anyways I have pro creat but it felt like it didn’t fill all my art needs then I found PicsartColor I immediately downloaded it and it filled all my art needs but anyways I want to be a artist when I’m older and PicsartColor is the perfect app. The biggest thumbs up ever to the Developers who created this. And it saves all my work by the way check out my art on PicsArt video and photo editing app my user in Articfox28. Any was I looooooooooooove PicsartColor again there’s no words to Express how good PicsartColor is I would highly recommend PicsartColor to people who want to do online art.

When I first got PicsartColor it was a little confusing but eventually I figured it out with friends help and trying new things. PicsartColor it perfect you can create so much. The only thing I would say it that it should have more backgrounds to choose from. There aren’t that many to choose from. Other than that PicsartColor is amazing. I would try it!😃 Have fun and make tons of art.

PicsartColor is the best thing I have stumbled upon. It’s so great, the multi layer feature is so cool and is has helped me become better at digital drawing. I love the way you can draw the text on the screen, it works well for my finger and is a great tool to have. Did I mention that everything’s free and I mean EVERYTHING! There are no adds and no sing up for membership, you can get started right away. It’s so easy to rename and delete (just hold down on the picture and a blue bar appears on the bottom) the delete is in the right hand corner and the rename is in the middle. In other words, this is by far the best app that I have ever tried, it’s a game changer and definitely worth the download! ❤️

I’ve been using PicsartColor for a while now and I’ve loved it but now my opacity for any brush that I use even when I’m 100% looks like it’s on 50%, which makes it extremely difficult to even draw a single wine without having to go over at 50 times just for it to be fully opaque i’ve contacted them via email about a week ago and still haven’t gotten anything back i’ve reset my iPad I deleted PicsartColor and downloaded it again and it seems like nothing is working but if you don’t have this problem then it’s a good app.

I have had PicsartColor for about roughly 2 months now, and it was amazing! At any point, I could happily work on drawing something, but this new update has ruined the brushes. Prior, the brushes were all nice and bold, but now they all have messed up opacity— Even when it’s at 100%, it has an odd ‘fade’ effect that ruins almost all of the brushes. It should be an optional thing to allow a ‘fade’ effect on the brushes— not completely overhaul them all and make it to where you can no longer draw one bold, single colored line. Please allow this ‘fade’ effect to be optional rather than permanent.

When you fill something with another color, it should fill it. Instead, it changed it by the slightest, slightest bit, and then when you tap it more, it will fill for a fraction of a second, just to toy with you, then it will slightly fill EVERYTHING on the picture. Also why can't you just draw on a picture? Instead of having to tediously place and fit one in? The fill tool is literally the only reason I use PicsartColor, and it hardly works.

I am trying to make an animation of my self so i am taking a picture and TRYING to draw on top of it but i am soo confused.... How do i Erase my mistakes with out pressing the clear button and making everything go away.... I think PicsartColor needs more tools to use it like an eraser tool and other things to really help and make it easy to make a drawing of yourself. For me I find PicsartColor hard to use and seems like it needs some more work not trying to write a bad review but I feel like it needs more.

When I first got PicsartColor a couple days ago it was awesome! But the came the glitches. I was working on a project and went to save but now the project won’t open. When I try to open it it just closes PicsartColor and crashes. PLEASE FIX I WANT MY ART AND TIME BACK😡😭💀

EDIT: I appreciate the quick response and I followed the advice and it resulted in losing ALL my art. But anyways I still love PicsartColor so solid 4⭐️

Can’t believe all the techniques you can use in PicsartColor. It’s a totally amazing app with so many features and adjustable properties of the tools. I can keep using it for hours. Plus you can save it as a pic or a gif! Would be a good tool for a step by step guide. You can import your pics to enhance them or just get crazy freehand. Love the font tool! Thank you to the generous developers of app. Well done!
