I got this app earlier this week because all of the reviews were so terrific. It does everything people have described and loved about it. I downloaded it to both my IPad (5th Generation), that I got for Christmas last year, and my IPhone 6s that I’ve had for about 5 years. But I have 2 problems with it. First, I paid for the upgrade to premium... only $1.99, a pretty good deal, but it Did Not apply to both devices, which is annoying. Second, it’s not only draining the battery on both devices so that I have to charge them more often....(Not Helpful when I’m out & about), but it’s slowing them or my wi-fi reception down tremendously!!! It’s taking both Safari and Google at least double if not triple the time to load!! I’d get frustrated with that anytime of the year, but even more at Christmas when I’m looking up gift ideas and shopping online!! I will be deleting this app from both devices due to these problems. Overall I absolutely love this app. This is the second year I’ve used it and it really does bring a little bit more joy every day until Christmas. The app works by giving you a Christmasy suggestion every day. However, I’ve noticed that half of the suggestions take more than an hour to complete. Now if it was just the suggestion of a Christmas movie once or twice I wouldn’t mind at all. But the suggestion can be to set up your tree, decorate your room, or send your Christmas cards. These tasks are almost impossible to complete on a randomized schedule and leave me frustrated because I can’t participate in the advent for these days. I know these are just suggestions but honestly I’d perfect repeats of having a holiday drink or treat since achievable goals. However, my favorite advents are the activities available in app such as collecting snow flakes. I absolutely adore these days and I wish there were even more in app games and features for the days that pass.

I use this all every day of December by opening my advent calendar gift, checking how much time I have until Christmas, searching for new things to do, and listening to delightful music!! I’m actually writing this on Christmas Day, and I can tell you it’s the first thing I reached for this morning... I haven’t even gone to see what Santa brought me! The reason this countdown is superior is that it’s very personal. It’s not just programming telling you when Christmas is coming it’s wonderful paragraphs to read everyday, and heartfelt activity’s a machine couldn’t tell you to enjoy. I don’t think I’ll ever use another Christmas countdown, IM OBSESSED !!!!!!!
