A fun app now has advertising BEFORE you get your score in every game you play. This changed in the latest update The developer answered my complaint. You can remove all ads by pressing the yellow button at the bottom of the home/main display. What he didn’t say, to remove ads will cost you $1.99. This app is still too ‘loaded’ with advertising!

Just an example regarding biathlon competition in olympics: what caliber rifles are used? Choices are 7mm, 7.62mm, 5.56mm, and .22mm. The closest is the expression of .22 caliber (.22 inches) = 5.56mm. The supposedly correct answer is .22mm.... Pencil leads aren’t that minuscule. Also, having set US as the area for me, I am saddened to see so many UK questions regarding sports, etc. I get more discouraged every time I play. Perhaps the creators will put some effort into correcting these problems, but I note that there is NO mechanism for reporting errors in the game except this.

This is a great app if you are interested in trivia as trivial pursuit is the classic gold standard. However this app is sorely lacking in content. As an American who has selected America as my country and American English as my language in the settings I am constantly given questions that use meters and centimeters as well as many questions involving British terminology, references, and slang which are not used outside of the UK. Terms like Ladybird (Ladybug). Weather it’s that all science questions use the metric system or the absurd overabundance of history questions concerned about British royalty in place of what should be world history questions, this app fails to accurately transition the original card game to a digital platform. The lack of impartiality that this app has is a huge deficit from the original game and it begs the question: if my paper game can be made as a North American edition how can this digital platform not follow suit.
