Every time I use WallPictureApp I have to turn my i phone off in order to exit it. Even as I write this review my screen is stuck on horizontal and will not go back to vertical.

I’m response to the developer- I know how to exit apps- what I am saying is your app freezes and won’t let me swipe at all. I have to literally turn the phone off and back on to exit.

I’ve been using WallPictureApp for years and have purchased a total of 130 walls, all of which have now disappeared. I reached out to the developer a few months ago about this and followed his directions explicitly to restore my purchased walls to no avail. I’ve even implemented the new instructions using the filter to show only purchased walls to retrieve my previously purchased walls and they are still nowhere to be found. I have an older phone with a previous version of WallPictureApp that has at least some of the walls I’ve purchased. This problem has now persisted for several months and there has yet to be an update that resolves this problem and I see other reviewers now complaining about this same issue. Glad to see I’m not the only one. I’m done talking to the developer, I’ll be reaching out to Apple for a refund, this is ridiculous.

I love the product and bought an annual subscription, but every time I open WallPictureApp shows all credits needed for each wall and then suggests I subscribe. I already subscribed and paid. I have tried to contact them, no response.

A popup to rate WallPictureApp came up immediately upon opening WallPictureApp . I don’t rate apps until I have thoroughly explored them, which could take weeks. The more I am nagged, the less I am likely to want to use WallPictureApp . So irritating.

Definitely a meh for me. They put the shadow going all the way around a piece, on all for sides and only option is either all off or all on. Several of the rooms are also on the Artrooms app. And for as much as this one cost it should include access to all of the rooms, not requiring you to pay to buy more. I also wish there was a feature to lock the aspect ratio. I’d like a refund.

I love the idea of WallPictureApp and had high hopes but I can’t seem to make it work over and over again. Re-installed over and over, doesn’t want to load. Quits unexpectedly. Would love to get behind this but needs a lot more work for the price paid.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I can view my images on a wall/room with sizes and frames. It’s reasonably priced compared to similar apps (i.e., it’s not a subscription, nor is it $80USD) WallPictureApp would be perfect if they added some more functionality like

1) Ability to line up multiple pictures on a grid to make it easier for equal spacing, centering the image over on room features, etc

2) Separating the frame and mat sizes from image sizes. As of now, once you add a frame/mat, you can only increase the size of the entire image set. It is not clear to me what’s changing size if I adjust the image. It would be nice to explore different frame/mat combinations while leaving the image the same size.

3) Addition of more rooms (e.g., kitchens, kids’ rooms, etc) and frame choices (wood grains, black wood, brushed metal, etc)

4) Ability to change wall color

WallPictureApp is SO easy to use and has the basic needs for displaying art in a few different settings...why not 5 starts? VERY limited options for walls. For $20 I'm a little bit disappointed to see so few options. Variety would be great! Closer views and more than just living room and baby/kid room options. Definitely need a few options for smaller vignettes when the art pieces aren't so huge. Over all I will use it and it works well for easy and quick staging of my larger art pieces. 😊

I have been looking for an affordable, beautiful and versatile app to promote my paintings. This fit all the bills! Great price point, compared to many, reasonable number of room options at the base price, plus the option to buy more. Also there was one feature I wish it had, so I contacted them about free form image rotation, and they’re adding it!! Wow! So cool!

I love that you can add your own environments!

Just a few additional features would make it even more useful than it already is:

1) multiple adjustable snap to guidelines-to lay out multiple works on a wall

2) an easier way to add multiple images/frames to a wall! (Right now I have to add one, save it out, reimport the wall, add another...or am I missing something?)

It’s important to be able to work with diptychs/triptychs/grids, etc.

3) would love to see the ability to rotate the angle of the drop shadow to make it more directional and less generic. Many times the wall you’re importing had some directional light; being able to tweak the shadow makes it feel a bit more real.

Come to think of it, no reason you couldn’t actually control the 3D effect of the shadow, not just the angle. Sliding your finger towards the art at an angle would make it “flatter”; away would move the light more to the side...would allow for even better tuning and greater realism!

4) would love to be able to increase/decrease length and intensity of the shadow along with direction and axis

5) I’m basically OK with the color patch selector as is for things like frame color, though hue/saturation/contrast slidebars to adjust these would be really great to have. Sometimes again you just want to slightly adjust the tint of the frame, or matt, to make it all feel less digital.

That’s it for my wishlist!

First, I want to commend them for a great payment method - pay for what you use! A novel idea! As I have more paintings to promote, I buy more rooms, rather than a monthly fee like the other programs where I have to pay every month whether I use the program or not. (And I refuse to subscribe to)
Next, of the apps I’ve tried, this is by far the easiest to use and has all the features to do a great job of placing my art in a positive way. Quick, easy, and efficient.
But I wish it included:
More variety of rooms. I believe all the similar apps are the same in this respect. They mostly have elegant living rooms, elegant dining rooms, nice elegant shelves, all with elegant furniture and vases. But not all art goes in the elegant spaces of an elegant house. How about including more ‘average’ type rooms that looks like someone’s home that people live in. And specialty rooms such as a library, billiard room, craft room, train set room, gaming room. And other rooms like the home office, sun room, music room, man cave, she shed, and kitchen. I know there are a few of these available in WallPictureApp, but very few. I have paintings that fit into man caves, studies, libraries, etc. And it’s kind of out of place sticking them in these ‘elegant’ rooms. Just one example, I have a large painting of a skull. I don’t think it’s likely that someone will be hanging that over their fancy couch in their elegant living room. Right?

I have used WallPictureApp for about two yrs now. So easy to add my art with frames, matting, shadows - and can upload real walls to show clients

I use this extensively and love it, made several sales of artwork by doing mockups showing the work in customers own rooms too. Great support from the developer when I had a problem.

Well I started with a light version. I loved it so I went ahead and purchased the full version. This makes it very easy for me to put a photo of my own artwork on the wall and upload this to my Etsy store. It works seamlessly and without glitches with my iPad mini and my iMac.

Love WallPictureApp and have been using for a while now....recently though, it has been crashing a lot! Please fix as it is great otherwise.

Rediculoously easy to use when you know what you're loooking for... I love that I can even add more than one image to the wall! A good selection of free walls, in variety and mood, and I appreciate the size approximation was spot-on.

It has saved me countless hours- it helps showcase my images as they are to be seen in a room- A picture is worth a thousand words
It is meant to be used primarily on iPhone as image does weird things on Mac
It is fast, I can get visualization in under a minute

Have to admit I was skeptical about WallPictureApp as had no reviews and also fall in category off very expensive apps. Decided to buy it as I needed refresh look selling my art and haven't regretted it. App works really great, I just hope they'll keep adding new rooms to it as this few will get old quickly, but I'm satisfied with it and it's nice that you can actually get in touch with them over the Facebook page and get response in about a day :)

I have tried a bunch off apps that try to do what WallPictureApp does, and this is by far the best! I tried the free version first and found it very easy to use and I love the results. I found the wording of how much additional rooms cost after you buy WallPictureApp for $24 confusing so contacted the maker. When you pay for WallPictureApp , you get 30 rooms free. This may seem like a high price for this generation that expects everything for free, but it is a great deal if you consider how much effort it takes to build and maintain an app. After you purchase WallPictureApp , you can buy additional rooms by buying credits— depending on how many credits you purchase at a time, each room will be about $1 or less. You can also pay a monthly or yearly subscription to get all of the rooms, but if you are like me, you won’t need that many, and they won’t all be to your taste.

Please, please, please add more rooms! Your app is great! But it definetly needs more rooms.
And you need to add more rooms for smaller pieces of art! You really don’t have for smaller pieces! We all will apreciate it a lot!!
