XWingAI keeps telling me I need to. It the scum expansion. No sweat, it’s only $1. But the problem is, it keeps telling me I need to buy it over and over again. Each time, it recognizes that I have already paid the dollar and says I’m good to go, but then when I try to load a scum ship it goes right back to asking me to pay.
This thing is absolutely broken.

You have taken content create by the community for free and put it behind a paywall. Did you talk to any of these content creators before charging for the things they created? Congratulations. You have essentially stolen their content for your profit.

While this was a pretty fun app, the 2.0 update ruins it, while I payed for the ability to have more ships at the time, it now wants me to pay a monthly subscription to use it. That’s just ridiculous, especially since this isn’t an official app, just go to the free browser based AIs.

This is a great AI, but I will absolutely not pay a subscription after previously paying for XWingAI . Back to the browser-based and completely free implementations for me.

Not a bad app, but it needs a few things added. It would be easier to have an outline of a map to show that you are playing on a 3 x 3 with moveable icons representing the ships, so you know how much room you have when using XWingAI by yourself. With icons of the opposite team so it would make XWingAI think and you think about its next move.

Also when you make the purchase it needs to tell you that you got the upgrade if the huge ships to add more ships and not spin as if it processing. What's the point in spending money if it won't tell you - you got the upgrade and it just in a endless cycle of processing your payment.

Only issue I’ve had is that some of the maneuvers colors are different on XWingAI than on their dials - but that is easily handled...
Quick and easy - love it!

XWingAI works surprisingly well. But it needs an update to allow for more finer things. Such as taking into account if the chosen ship is stressed or if there are obstacles.

XWingAI ’s developer has heard the voices of the people and provided us with a new updated version.

Subscriptions leave a bad taste in my mouth, especially if this AI is free elsewhere (for 2.0)

I’ve been a long time user of XWingAI , and had the privilege to work on the beta team for the 2.0 launch. XWingAI performs fantastically for both solo play and campaign missions in HotAC. The creator is very involved with the community and does a great job integrating new ideas into XWingAI . I highly recommend this for all of your X-Wing needs, whether practicing or campaigning!

1. Allow me to rename and/or assign numbers to a unit. In a big battle I have a hard time keeping squads of same numbers straight. 2. Allow us to warn AI of potential collisions. Otherwise this is fantastic and an absolute game changer just getting to play any time the feeling strikes.

Really enjoy this ap both playing solo and co-op. It is challenging enough you have to pay attention and just the little extras like a free target lock or focus action makes the AI deadlier than it would normally be. It made me love my X Wing ships again. If you have ships but can't set up or find a game? Get this ap.

I recently moved away from my regular group but luckily XWingAI has saved the day! The ai is great, making smart but unpredictable moves and by following the little extra rules it makes them even deadlier! 10/10

If you want the easiest way to consolidate your ai, track damage and control every part of them, this is it! No paper, no websites, just a perfect, basic layout for maximum effectiveness. Home run! -Recon Specialist Tv

XWingAI is amazing for ai! I was confused on something and I sent an email asking for help and I did, but it was a week later but it saved how I play xwing ai! XWingAI is perfect for lonely people and people that have no friends to play with at the time.

Listen, no, it’s not as good as having your buddy over for drinks, unhealthy snacks, and flying some ships around, but it’ll get the job done. XWingAI isn’t perfect; for instance it doesn’t know where obstacles are, or exactly where other ships may be, which leads to a few more collisions than normal. In those cases you give the AI some wiggle room and you make a better decision on their behalf.

The interface makes sense and it has allowed me to play the game under quarantine which is all I wanted from such a thing.

I found out about XWingAI in a Reddit thread and I just want to say thank you for making a great way to play X-Wing solo.

After not having anyone to play with for a while, i finally downloaded XWingAI. The ai was pretty great and rather challenging. Since you tell the AI where you’ve moved to, it’s very difficult to out maneuver higher Pilot Skill AI, but an interesting challenge non the less. Now, i play 2.0 and it seems like the only thing XWingAI takes into account is ps, so it’s pretty easy to adjust. However, it would be super cool to see XWingAI updated to 2.0. I would gladly pay 1.99 for the full app.

Get your game on without having to head to a meetup and break quarantine. Nice for getting a board game fix
