Can’t even look at airport without being interrupted by being forced to view ad

Useless to call this app free when you can’t even view one airport to see what is available in the app. Not a good way to even consider deciding whether pro is worth the money since I can’t view what may be available on pro.
Your best bet is to get Nav Monster or some other quality app that doesn’t cost anything and you get all you need for a safe flight without a formal briefing. FltPlan is another app where you can get airport data for free and even file a flight plan.
Airport views unreadable

When you are in an airport view and click on another airport, the second airport's info overlays on top of the first so you can't see anything. There’s no way to back out, so you must force close the app and relaunch. I’m still using the free version to see if I like the app, so it may be related to that since you can only see one airport at a time. But it creates a catch 22 because it doesn't work, but I don’t want to spend the money to see if the upgrade fixes it.
WX data does not update

Every time I open this app the WX data is out of date. Does anyone know how to make it refresh? Hey developers... Using old METARS is a serious safety issue.
Update: The developer got back to me on this. They informed me that the data could be updated by swiping down on the screen. Who knew? This is an app for aviation weather. Kind of important to pilots in the air, that the weather reports are accurate and up to date. When a pilot opens the app, the first thing it should do is update the data.
