Clunky— clearly thrown together

When I first purchased my Zeiss HD5 3-15x42 rifle scope with a Rapid Z 800 reticle, Zeiss had a very simple and intuitive ballistic calculator on their website. They’ve subsequently removed that simple calculator and replaced it with one of the worst apps I’ve ever seen. It is difficult to navigate, doesn’t retain all of the ballistic inputs, requires you use a 200 yard zero (the orig app didn’t have that limitation). I’m also finding the recommended magnification isn’t even consistent. Don’t waste your time on an app you’ll spend 3 hours trying to figure out how to navigate that you should be able to become proficient on in 3 minutes. Shame on Zeiss. This program was obviously thrown together. The sad thing is the original calculator worked very well.
Why limit my zero?

For the price of this scope the app should be enabled to adjust the zero. Most of my shots are under 300 and the average shot is around 100 so I’m zeroed at 100 yards. The fact that I can’t use the reticle view in the app is terrible compared to my other rifle that has a Nikon and their app is much more user friendly and adaptable to the individual needs. Love this scope, hate the app!
