2 years agoI downloaded this app and was misled that I would get a 2 month free trial. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!! It will automatically draw £19.99 from your bank. I will be taking this further through Paypal if I do not receive a refund. This is robbery at its finest.

3 years agoPlease refund me. Your app said free trail for 2 months then charged me $40. To make it worse your app doesn’t even work. By the looks of your reviews it doesn’t work for anyone else. Stop stealing peoples money with an app that doesn’t work.

3 years agoI seen the app and it said it was a free 2 month trial. So I downloaded it and it charged me 21.29. I was mad then, I thought ok well if it works, but I scanned multiply item. to see if they’d work nope nothing. Just says it’s searching but it never stops searching.

3 years agoI want a refund. I was reviewing this app and had no intention of getting a subscription or paying $20. You don’t even offer real support. I have spent the last hour trying to find support and keep running into brick walls.

Looks Nice but a bit Offensive
So “free w/ in-app purchases”? Sorry, but I couldn’t launch the app without a subscription. It immediately asks to start a 3-day, free trial. That’s the shortest free trial I’ve ever heard of. On top of that, I got the app to find out if something was vegan. I definitely felt that this item wasn’t and wanted to verify. So, fire up the app, sign up for a subscription… as we all know, “Free trial” means subscription. It’s on you to cancel. Anyway, I scan the product and it asks me “Do you think this is vegan?”. Now, I understand that it’s crowd-sourced, but to expect someone to pay money to be like “What do you think? Three other people don’t think that it is.” is offensive. I can go on Reddit for crowd opinion without any verification and NOT pay $4.99/wk! (Default Subscription). What stinks is that I’m sure there’s some value here that warrants a 4-star rating, but I’ll never see it. I’m immediately turned off by this ham-fisted subscription model and an app that asks me what I think when I’m looking for answers. Only my therapist can answer my questions with questions. Again, I bet there’s some hard work and value here, but this app has already ruined its chances with me.

Doesn't work! No free trial!
I downloaded this to try out the scanner feature. After opening the app, it offered me a 2 month free trial and then a paid subscription after that. So I did it to try it out but it charged my account right away for the year subscription, so I did not get to try it out first. Then, the scanner DOESN'T WORK! Every time I scan an item it either crashes or says "Looking for your product..." and apparently never finds it because the screen never changes after that. Very disappointed and I would like my money back but the develop says subscription are non-refundable!

This is terrible don’t waste your money
I thought there would be actual recipes and dietary information. There is nothing helpful about this app. The recipes that appear in the main menu don’t even seem real. They show a picture of soba noodles and carrots and then list the ingredients as enriched macaroni and other items that don’t match the photo. There’s a link to “more recipes” that doesn’t work. When you scan items it has you rate them yourself and the items simply disappear. You can’t even see the nutritional content as is common practice with any other app I have ever used for scanning ingredients. Beyond disappointing!
