Love all the settings in CameraPixelsLite, but as it does not save my photo, it’s kinda useless...
Its cool how you can change all this but you have to pay to use the full resolution of your own camera. I have a 12MP phone yet CameraPixelsLite limits me to half that. Lite versions are always bad but this just isnt even worth keeping
It's got plenty of great features and is priced competitively. Unfortunately, I will often find that my videos aren't saved (usually when doing longer timelapses in 4k), which is pretty disappointing. The design could also use some work.
Doesn’t seem like it had been updated since iphone 8 came out; picture format only shows JPEG, TIFF and HEIF.
According to the description, raw (DNG) is supported on iphone 7, so this just seems like poor design
Update: The developer claims that the description mentions that DNG support requires IAP, but that is not clear from the language. There is one mention of a limit up to ‘HD resolution’, but HD is a term associated with video resolution, so that is hard to correlate with not supporting DNG for still images.
This was a good app before but now it crashes every time I open it. Please fix it! I am using iPhone 7 Plus with iOS 11.2.5

After latest update, app tends to lockup on start. Screen is dark. No camera image. Focus and exposure adjustment circle is missing.
Like the adjustable resolution. Does not focus on close objects.
Been looking for a small sized free app that runs smoothly and does what it says. I'm looking forward to using CameraPixelsLite after playing with it a bit, because it appears I I found these things. Great app, many thanks to the developer!
CameraPixelsLite is good, with a lot of options and what I was looking for... 16:9 camera. The bad things is that by using the lite version you’re only able to take pictures at 720p.
CameraPixelsLite has the features I need and allows me to choose the size of the picture taken! 😊 Thank you!
Has everything I would want except very low shutter speeds like 30 seconds
Fantastic app. They seem to have thought of everything. A must for anyone serious about phone photography. The light version has very low resolution but the paid version offers whatever your phone can put out. In my case it's iPhone 15 with 48 megapixels
I love the ability to create presets for specific environments and situations. CameraPixelsLite does the job of three different camera apps that I was using previously.
Not only is this a great app, the support group are extremely responsive when asking questions and submitting feature requests.
If you like having manual control of the photography process, this is CameraPixelsLite for you.
I have used many camera apps including Camera+, Procam, Procamera, Top camera, Multicam... By trial & error, this the latest app which I'm using since long. And I feel no need to search for more powerful app as CameraPixelsLite has all the features needed. It is small in size, no unnecessary features like filters/stickers/text overlays etc. Must have app!
Love the ability to adjust all the parameters of my iPhone photo camera and then save the snatched photo in a quality preserving RAW format. A bit misleading that CameraPixelsLite is free -- you still need to spend $3 on a full resolution pack, which is a bit steep. In summary: Highly recommended, but buy the in-app addition to get all the features.
For ordinary user of iPhone camera CameraPixelsLite may be too complex, but if you want maximum from camera this is a right choice: a lot of adjustments and settings.
So many features in this light weight app. Also it gives you good results. Wish this camera app becomes popular.
I liked it a lot. It has so many features. It's effective and useful.
I love to be able to have the option to control everything on my camera. Nowadays I don't really carry my camera with me so I'm always hunting for a new manual camera settings app for my phone. I have an IPhone 7 Plus and I've been playing around with the free app for a couple of days. It lets me save pictures and I've been able to use 30 second exposure. It has the option of a bulb setting by using the headphone volume button. I love having all the options easily navigable and simple. I don't want tons of graphics and big buttons. This also does time lapse!!!! Thank you for providing this free version for us to try it. I really love it, thank you!!!
Update: Before I wrote this review I asked a question about how to get the long exposure because at first glance it looks like the longest option is 1/30. They responded within a few hours with an answer!!!! A very detailed answer!!!!! (Here is the reply)
Thank you for contacting our support.
The slowest shutter speed depends on your device, but it can not be slower than 1 sec (iPhone 4S/5). These are hardware/drivers limitations. In CameraPixels we have a special mode called Multi-capture which can simulate long exposure to some degree. For example, the slow shutter sub-mode allows "long exposure" in daylight, which simulates the usage of ND filters in DSLR. The same sub-mode can be used in poor lighting to reduce the noise at high ISO. Another sub-mode, light painting, is designed to capture light trails. In allsub-modes of Multi-capture mode you can select Bulb mode, which will capture images until the picture is not stopped manually.

I’m not sure how developed CameraPixelsLite is or how much backing it has for updates. But my gosh it offers one feature I can not find on any other free or paid app!
The ability to dim your flash while recording what a game changer it is! I sometimes work at night and wanna record some stuff and to have the ability to lower my dim for less visibility and more emphasis and focus on what i want the camera to see it’s perfect I hope this never changes I truly love it for that feature alone! CameraPixelsLite is ok could use tweaking here and there better UI make it a little cleaner more modern and sleek but otherwise it’s ok crashes at times when I wanna open my saved pictures or videos but otherwise wise it’s great!
