After updating to 1.10.0 KAKENews crashes on launch even if you force close it or even going so far as to force close all apps and hard reset your device. Previous version worked fine so please fix.

Plays a few seconds and then a way beyond pond delay. I-phone 11 Pro Max. Heats speed Cox internet.

KAKENews can alert you to news stories, which is great. But a good app will take you to THAT news story when the notification is tapped. This is not a good app. Most of the time it dumps me into the main page where I search for the story and can’t find it..... Maybe it’s not KAKENews . In that case it might be that the notification goes out before the story actually airs, and that’s a problem with the people administering KAKENews .

Today (11/7/2019) I saw a story about Great Bend electing a write-in candidate for mayor. I’d already seen the ad for a local restaurant and it says you can skip the ad, but the button does nothing. On a previous story I was able to go back to the main page and then go to the story again and it played just fine. On the election story it started a new ad, then another, then another, then another.... not sure how long, but I endured since I could neither skip nor bounce out and back in. Then there was some ABC news, then KAKE finally dropped in their own video, but the election piece was not the first story.

Just thought you might know why some folks are not using KAKENews . I’m deleting it from my devices now.

Advertisements pay for KAKENews . I get it. But ads that constantly pop up and take over the entire screen (forcing you to reach across the screen to reach for the "X") is an aggressive way to advertise. KAKENews developer and the advertiser should recognize that by irritating KAKENews user, you really show KAKENews and the products being sold in a negative way. To the advertiser: I will not shop at places who advertise this way. To KAKENews creator: This design is not being creative, it simply annoying. Is that the affect your going for?

Been using KAKENews for a few months now, previously on my iPhone 6s, and now on a X(10). KAKENews is clean, not fussy and easy to use. My only complaint is that the navigation is a little non-intuitive. When I click into the weather by area videos, there’s no back button/link to drill back out to the main screen. I figured out to swipe but left or right? Don’t now let’s just try one. I don’t like that, would rather have a definite link to drill in, and a definitive link to go back. Otherwise app is great!
