I love love love ShieldPornBlocker, it’s a great way to keep your self pure. I love that it will block any explicit picture or porn sight you try to search. With that being said there is one major flaw in ShieldPornBlocker . It blocks a lot of stuff that isn’t explicit. Usually it’s because the word “Women” is in the search bar. For instance if you search anything with the word women, you’ll see that ShieldPornBlocker for the most part will block a lot of the non explicit searches. I understand ShieldPornBlocker is made for the intent of blocking porn fully and completely from your phone. I’m all for that, and the 24 dollars a year is worth it, but I would suggest for the developers to see this and maybe make some updates that won’t block all searches that are non explicit. Till then I would suggest you get covenant eyes and have accountability.

ShieldPornBlocker has been a lifesaver in helping me overcome porn addiction, along with ditching social media and other apps that might be a source for explicit content (These other steps are necessary for ShieldPornBlocker to be effective). Some people have called ShieldPornBlocker overly effective since it blocks Google searches that some may not consider inappropriate. However, I would argue this is necessary to eliminate as many avenues as possible for accessing porn. There are still explicit sites out there that ShieldPornBlocker hasn’t caught (most of which aren’t explicitly porn sites but have pornographic content), so to help all benefiting from ShieldPornBlocker, please let the developer know if you find any of these that should be blocked.

I don’t remember it happening before I got and set up ShieldPornBlocker but now I can’t view any kind of images. I select it and there is just a white page with the three grey bars symbol. Also random sites, which include this apps support page, are all blocked. I understand that the porn or related sites would be blocked but I don’t understand why all the others would be, unless they just so happen to have a “bad word” somewhere on them.

I have struggled for quite a few years with porn addiction. My iPhone has been my major source to satisfy this debilitating condition. At the suggestion of a friend, I have installed ShieldPornBlocker on my iPhone. It is great! I cannot access the porn anymore. Sometimes it works so well you cannot even do a search for something innocent that includes a word that suggests a sexual connotation 😁. I recommend ShieldPornBlocker to all nofappers or those with a "pmo" addiction. It shall help you immeasurably on your path to success. Thank you!!!

I love ShieldPornBlocker and how I can forget to remember it's even there, except for when I try to search images of say Maps or different locations for vacation and I cannot view any of them. I like how it blocks out all temptation however seems to over extend a bit to being a slight annoyance. Guess it's the price to pay for kicking addiction.

It’s very simple to operate. And after a few weeks of use, it doesn’t block every innocent thing I look at like other filter apps have. It’s also cheaper than a lot of other.

Wish it could send accountability emails. Even if you were to delete ShieldPornBlocker . Instead you need to lock your ability to delete apps.

Effectively Blocks all inappropriate pornographic content and the team is very responsive to suggestions of improvement.

Only note I would say is that sometimes it’s a little too good. Cant search “thick milkshake” or something remotely suggestive without getting blocked.

I have had a problem with porn used to watch it several times a day. Even would go to the bathroom at work and watch it. Porn was affecting my work, family and social life. At the urging of my wife I downloaded ShieldPornBlocker and in the two months I’ve had it I’m a different man.

I used ShieldPornBlocker to block some unwanted websites. It’s very effective. I usually contact the support team (Jon) to block some specific websites. Jon is a very responsive and a professional person. I don’t have to worry about this problem again. Shield is the best so far. Thank you guys

I’ve been using ShieldPornBlocker now for years to help block stuff in safari that can lead me down a very dark path. When you combine this with the screen time restrictions it is a really helpful combo for moments of weakness.

ShieldPornBlocker itself is pretty good. It filters a lot which is great except when it filters stuff that’s pretty innocent. I recently searched for a realtor by name and because she was a woman it wouldn’t allow me to look at the images. While I appreciate the hard work that goes into ShieldPornBlocker, and them wanting to protect you, like you pay them too, it still has a ways to go.

Works wonderfully on safari- but in order to remove temptation more, I would block downloading of apps through the restrictions page on settings so you don't go around it and just download a different internet browser.

Blocks bad stuff, even in Google search or other searches. The only problem is that sometimes it blocks stuff that is not bad and there is no way to get past it without switching to Chrome (ShieldPornBlocker only blocks content in Safari, not Chrome).

It’s good if you know and trust someone to make a password you can’t guess and keep it. But it is a bit too restrictive if used to block pornography exclusively. Great app if using it to block all obscene content from kids.

Sometime certain websites, that might not need to be blocked, get blocked. But I would rather shun sin as Job did than toe the line. I would actually prefer to pay $1000 a month to not be tempted period, but until then, this will do.

Does ShieldPornBlocker block the private section on safari? Btw love that it blocks every little thing to keep our eyes pure. Purity leads us to joy!

ShieldPornBlocker seemed to have potential since it is supposed to work in safari. You have to use the built in restrictions for it to work which is such a waste because that doesn’t allow customized filtering. There is potential here but there would have to be some major improvements such as selecting type of content to block as well as not needing to use the restrictions (which are terrible) that’s built in.

Seems to be working great I sleep better at night knowing that my son is protected from the wickedness of porn and myself included thank you guys very much keep up the good work and God bless you're doing a good thing

Hides majority of everything explicit that I don’t want to randomly see. Do be careful of social media though because it doesn’t hide everything on any of those platforms that I know of
