Grid Layout IG Feed Preview Reviews

Every time I try to post to Instagram it displays an error ‘something went wrong.’ A great visual display that is simple and easy to use, but is useless (except for prepping captions) if I can’t post with it. When I used to be able to, it wouldn’t allow me to save the post as an Instagram draft either.

I honestly want to give GridLayoutIGFeedPreview 5 stars because I’ve been using it for years and was so happy with it, but this morning I awoke to the most horrible update where the photos are now sorted from oldest at the top to newest at the bottom? Exactly the opposite of how they will appear when you post to IG.. years of work and planning now ruined and I can’t find a way to manually choose newest to oldest instead. That’s all I want, please switch it back so I can update this review.

I'm a creator and have over 100 saved pictures on the Grid app that I need to post within the next few months and GridLayoutIGFeedPreview randomly stopped working and the support is refusing to acknowledge my MULTIPLE emails asking for help. I'm seriously considering deleting GridLayoutIGFeedPreview

App crashes every time I try to open it. I had 60+ photos stored in there, and now I can’t access/see any of them, which is super difficult. It’s been this way for over a month now, and the updates don’t work either - still crashes immediately.

I was looking for an affordable alternative to some of the other Instagram planning apps, and I made a big mistake getting this one. It’s so buggy! It’s constantly losing my saved work, and it doesn’t recognize all the photos in my photo album, so I can’t always upload the photos I need. I have to keep closing GridLayoutIGFeedPreview and reopening it to get it to work. AVOID!!

I used to use GridLayoutIGFeedPreview and liked but haven't installed in a while. When tried to use it again, it asks for instagram credentials and then nothing happens, the only option to go back to GridLayoutIGFeedPreview is cancelling the instagram window and then it asks to login with instagram again 🙄

I usually don’t write reviews. But GridLayoutIGFeedPreview is terrible. I downloaded it. Opened it. Added ONE picture to mess around with and try to figure out how things work. I clicked on add and a pop up came up “free allowance has been reached, please deleted a post…”

You can only add ONE photo before it wants to charge you. It is definitely NOT a free app with “in app purchases”

I would give GridLayoutIGFeedPreview a higher rating if it were easier to arrange the photos. That’s the whole purpose of GridLayoutIGFeedPreview is to arrange photos how you’d like to display them. Every time I click to drag a photo it enlarges the photos and won’t let me move it. Also the photo from the top that you’ve dragged alllllll the way down to where you want it will end up right back where it was or just now it ended up as my very 1st photo at the bottom and when I tried to drag it up it acted like it was a post on my ig that couldn’t be rearranged. I tried reaching out to support and the email is inactive. I use this for my business so it’s pretty frustrating trying to get work done and spending double the amount of time because of the errors and glitches that occur. To the creators/support team, please fix these issues!

CREATE A NEW GRID AND IT WORKS AGAIN.
Something happened to where if you had a Grid in the early days of GridLayoutIGFeedPreview, it no longer worked after an update. Instagram may have had something to do with that.
For the longest it seemed like GridLayoutIGFeedPreview didn’t work at all. I realized you have to (unfortunately) delete your current Grid and or create a new Grid and then you can import photos, video, rearrange, etc. Free at that. I personally don’t care about uploading and what not. I just like to see my photos planned out before I upload myself. That part should always and continue to be free with no limit.

To be fair it’s a great product, and one I’d be willing to pay for. But the price is way out of line.

It’s cool to be able to have some limited use, it gives a preview of the functionality and UX. But $15/month for this? Come on guys, that’s a joke. I respect your work, but there are similar apps out there for 10-20% the monthly cost for this one. I don’t even know if Netflix costs as much as this or close to it.

Super frustrating to review this because I like GridLayoutIGFeedPreview and want more, but paying $15/month for this is ridiculous. Maybe when the price goes down I’ll cop, if I haven’t already picked up a different app.

First off.. Thank you for not making this a subscription!
Second, I just started using this so let me know if I’m just not seeing a way to do things. I would like to see:
1) availability to add videos
2) availability to export the images to your camera roll and/or move the images from one “profile” to another (I like to keep colors in separate boards so it’s easier to find what I want while planning)

I agree with other comments the moving around is definitely difficult to get used to. Ending a swap option would also be nice.

I used to use GridLayoutIGFeedPreview all the time, but just today it won’t let me connect to my instagram. It displays a long error message. Please fix this bug, I love GridLayoutIGFeedPreview so much!

It’s really hard now to move photos around in the grid because I have to click at least twice before dragging a photo and moving it to another spot, and sometimes the photo will glitch and just go back to where it was. I would just like to be able to move the pictures like we were able to before these new recent updates

GridLayoutIGFeedPreview is streamlined to meet my needs without any additional frills. Great example of how simplification can provide great returns.. it's helped me to design and build my brand image and plan ahead for future posts without hassle. Must have app for Instagram page + business owners.

I started out with the free version then quickly updated to the paid version since it’s only a small one time payment. I manage multiple Instagram accounts and it makes it so easy to plan and post for all of them in one place. It was being a little glitchy at one point but it stopped. GridLayoutIGFeedPreview is simple and easy to use for me since I just like to plan what the feed looks like. I don’t do scheduling or anything.

I run a couple of Instagram accounts in which visual cohesion is key. The Grid has been very useful in allowing me to preview how a new image will interact with existing aesthetics.

GridLayoutIGFeedPreview is the easiest of all the 52 photo apps on my phone! I don’t normally review unless harassed but I couldn’t resist adding one more pic & caption to my grid during date night last night. Only thing I haven’t been able to intuitively do, is how to get the grid off my phone and into Instagram! I will update my review once I discover.

App was great until they updated it and the entire grid flipped everything around. Now my newest posts are on the bottom and my older on the top, inaccurate to instagrams layout. I also haven’t been about to link my Instagram account in months, even tried reinstalling GridLayoutIGFeedPreview

I been looking for a app like this that can help me test out my images before uploading to my official account. It’s a life saver & glad I don’t have to worry about paying a monthly subscription service each month!!!!!!!!
