Aliens vs. Pinball Reviews

This is a suite of 3 different pinball tables themed on the Alien vs Predator movie, the ALIENS movie, and Alien Isolation. The pinball physics is realistic, the tables are sophisticated and challenging, and zen has taken advantage of the Simulation environment to include Alien, Egg hatching, Alien Queen, Predator-Alien fights, which are surprisingly cool. Wait until an Alien grabs your silver ball!
Real voices from the movies are really great and spice up the Aliens theme. Wait until you hear Hicks yell, “Movement!” and Ripley yell, “Get behind me!” and “Sleep well” after she shoots an Alien!
I watched the ads on the free version too long before I decided to buy AliensvsPinball , and if you enjoy pinball and Aliens movies, they save the best game until you have scored well on the other two to unlock it, so don’t hold off thinking the first table might be the only good one.
About support-I have reported bugs to other vendors that didn’t fix the bugs or reply. Zen fixed the bugs and sent me a thank you email!!!

I was trying to get 5,000,000 points for my second egg and sometimes I try to press the flipper to hit the ball and it has a 1 second delay which makes 5,000,000 points a 1 percent chance. Anyway, I love the Alien franchise and pinball so thank you for this game. Pls fix the bug.

This game is amazing. The graphics are cool and the tables are also awesome. I like the lines from the movies and the alien idea is insanely cool. The only problem was that I tried to play the game but it said I couldn't because of internal errors. I thought it wouldn't work again but than like five hours later it worked. So basically it is glitchy. Also, if the developer is reading this, please add more tables, like a predator table that has Arnold's voice. That would be awesome. Thanks for making this game, and please fix bug if possible. I'm a little scared it will have errors again. I like to play this game and I don't want it to delete my progress. This game is still definetly five stars though even with the bug.

Game play is super fun, but it is so hard to get to actually play. The ads aren’t even bad, but the interface is terrible. You have to tap and hold on any button you want to press. It takes forever to tally up your score which is fun at first but it gets freaking old fast. If you sink two balls in a row and know you have a bad score there’s no way to bypass the long tallying. Or if you get a mediocre score that you don’t care about after the long tallying you’re taken to a whole other screen where they tell you you’ve had better scores than this one and you have to tap and hold a butting to get back to the table and bypass the startup scene again to finally play a freaking game. Also it will randomly offer to have you watch an ad for another ball. After you watch the terrible ad for a game you’ll never get it just ends the game and you never get the extra ball.

The inclusion of memorable lines and moments from Aliens is wonderful. It makes the gameplay on the table one of my favorites.
The mini games are difficult as Hell to understand on the first go around, especially if you don’t read the table guide (nobody reads the manual.)
It takes a moment for AliensvsPinball to catch up on your in app-purchases of the 50 tokens and all 3 tables + the ability to hide ads, which makes gameplay smooth and uninterrupted.
I wish I had the cash to get the actual table of “Aliens” in my home.
The other tables are quite enjoyable, but not as much as “Aliens.” I’d like to have seen “Alien” have a table rather than AVP, but like the Stones said “you can’t always get what you want.”
All 3 are enjoyable and have different set ups so if you’re a beginner or played a lot of tables on other apps like myself, they’re all good challenges.
BEST pinball app to date.

I love the graphics and the amount of them. It's incredible! The pinball physics are extremely realistic. The grade of the table isn't "jacked up" so high that it's impossible to have the ball anywhere up the table. It's fun to play but not too easy that it's not interesting. You can play for free if you want, if you watch a 30 sec add between games. Not between balls. Between games. I love the fact that I can spend some time with the game before I buy it. This is definitely worth the money in my opinion.

This is a solid pinball game. While I can deal with ads, those that don't like them can purchase to remove them. I didn't pay for the levels as I found they can be unlocked they game play. Granted it requires a massage challenging score to unlock them, that is part of the challenge and makes this game fun. Four days later and I have unlocked all three tables. So pay if you wish, but it's not needed. I do plan on buying the packs on my PS3 but other than that this is a solid game. Very fun.

As others have said, the tables are amazing! The other thing that impresses me is the pricing. To play for free, watch a 30 second ad for the whole game, not after every ball like some others. One table is open and you can buy the other two, but I was amazed to learn that after getting all three achievements on the first table, a second opened up, also for free! Hopefully that will happen with the third as well. Thank you Zen. Sampling here convinced me to buy for my Xbox!

I have tried three times to get Zen developers to respond to me with no success. I already owned this pack and many others and since I bought a new iPad, I can’t get theses packs to transfer from my old iPad. What’s worse is that I can’t buy any other tables from those packs because of the mysterious “server error” that zen studios continually has with a lot of their customers. My progress and purchased tables are not available to me for items I have already paid for.

Developer, yes I have contacted customer support and tried the steps you suggest on your forums. Why won’t anyone respond?

Loved this. I pass a lot of time with pinball, and this is such a great on-the-go option. But while I’ve already purchased all the tables and the ad removal (and Apple store won’t let me RE purchase), I can’t restore purchases. I checked online on their forum and they suggest to email from within AliensvsPinball — but there’s no option to do that. And for that reason I’m stuck with ads and only one table. Would love an easier support option, or direct email support options.

The graphics and mechanics of this game are fantastic. I love playing it in my spare time. My only complaint is that I paid for the pinball wizard pack which includes:

“All 3 Tables, Remove all ads, 50 resurrection tokens, and Offline play”

However the offline play apparently isn’t what I thought it meant because I can’t play this game at all if I have no service. I only paid for it because I wanted to be able to play this game on my down time while I am deployed over seas.

There’s one thing I don’t like above anything else when it comes to anything. IT’S FALSE ADVERTISING!!! I bought the full version so I could play any board. I was also sick of the ads. But what caught my attention was the ability to play offline with the pro version. But, when I tried getting on with my internet shut off, it wouldn’t allow me to play. WHAT THE HECK?! I would have given this 5 stars if this were not an issue, but because it is, it’s only worthy of 3. False advertising is not okay!

I really started to love this game; very good physics and responsive. There are actually 3 different tables in this game.
You have to pass 3 requirements, on each table, to unlock each of the the next 2 tables.

I originally had left an unfavorable review because of an issue with the 3rd table. However, support read my first review, and quickly moved to resolve the issue!

The Aliens table is awesome, first off. There's so much dialogue from the movie, and I love all it's details. Nice table. The AvP table is great too, even though I can't stand the movie. I really like the thermal vision, and for some reason it wasn't a hard table to figure out. Very cool. The Isolation table is good too, but I've never played that game, so I don't love it. Overall, very solid.

Purchased their wizard pack to gain offline gameplay and bypass all the adds as well as access the other tables and I got the other tables, but I still have NO OFFLINE access and STILL HAVE ADS. I dealt with them through several emails and was told they would respond shortly once they investigated deeper. Still waiting several months later with no follow up or response to my email requesting an update. Save your money if you are looking to get offline access or a way to avoid ads. The tables are rather minimal in comparison to the main Aliens table.

Now don’t get me wrong it’s a great game but real quick it asked permission for my Bluetooth i thought it was a little strange and i think it said so it can know my location which was a little unsettling i don’t like apps getting access to where i live and so i want to know why the heck it want’s my Bluetooth access I’m sure some other people either ignored it or not but I’m just asking what’s the deal with that?

This game is amazing! The graphics and everything else. But you see, I bought the wizard pack, and it says offline play right? Well, It won’t exactly let me do that. It just won’t work. If it’s not possible to fix that, then I would just like to request a refund. Thank you.

I play this on my Xbox one and was excited to see is was available in the AppStore on my iPad so I payed the money for the full version but can only get the free version….I’m hugely disappointed by this and feel robbed of my money….I give this 2 stars because the free version is still fun but they only let you play so much untill you wait idk how long till they let you play again….FIX THE SERVER PLEASE!!!!

I like the games because it’s look cool and it is fun to play when I’m bored alien is cool and pin pong I think it was a amazing game to smash the two thing together and it is fun to try to bet your old score and if you don’t agree with me you are lost

Love the alien pinball. Hasn't been the same game twice yet and I e been playing a month now. Great graphics, sounds, lights, gameplay. All these factors that make pinball games good are here and do an excellent job at pulling you in and wanting to play just one more ball and one more after that and another, etc. Great work!!!!!
